Thirty-three acre property on a hill with great views, planted with thousand different species of flowering trees. A farm of two thousand oranges, thousand apples, pears, peaches, apricot, pomegranate, rambutan, potatoes, beans, cabbage, carrots, and much more in 15 acres. Placed on top of a mountain 5600 ft. Above Sea Level, misty from 4 to 18 degree C with a view from each unit to the valley around and a dam down below. Units are beautifully spread in this farm.
Amazing 360 deg Landscape and Perfect stay for Family
Reviewed By dhipishVisited Vrindhavan Resort by the end of May 2022. Had a pleasant stay with my family. We had booked 2 Villas and really enjoyed every moment of stay for 2 Nights. The main highlight of the Resort is the 360 Deg Mountain view which mesmerises you every time with different picturesque looks. We were lucky to witness many Rainbows due to small rains in and around mountains. Had am awesome day of Sun, Rain, Mist and Star Glazing in the Night. About the Stay --- Rooms were sanitised & Clean, Eco-Friendly Atmosphere, Friendly Staffs, 24 hr Hot water, almost like ur home where you could even cook food if needed as the villa has Living rooms, Dinning & Kitchen along with the Bedrooms. Foods are also provided at the Restaurant area if needed. Transportation facilities are given and Jeep Trekking to see local spots is another highlight were you could enjoy bathing in Waterfalls and see other Views. Farms inside the Resort is another highlight where lot of Vegetables and Fruits are cultivated in ample space. We saw Apples, Fig, Pomogonate and lot of Vegetable farming.

They don't allow foreigners
Reviewed By Josh HI am an American living in Kerala. I called to book a room and they told me they do not allow foreigners. I have all documents including passport, pan card and Aadhaar card but they do not care. I am posting this so that other non-Indian travelers don't waste their time on these guys.

Reviewed By NaseefJifriA mix of modern and traditionaly ambiance maintained resort. Which is beautiful entrance along with its historic knowledge shared in the walls. And which is fully covered by medicinal tree, plants, private dam, vegetable farms, tree houses, walking bridge from rooms to dam and many more. Other highlight is the Mud house which is beautifully build as very natural and traditional style. Provides complimentary breakfast and foods on demand are available. Separate section for dining are arranged facing to nature. Very tasty foods. And the host and the hospitality can't be missed to mention here, very happy. Ayurveda treatments are available on demand.(pre-booking are available along with room booking) There are some site visit options nearby. Kanthaloor fruits farms (mainly Apple and mulberry), Muni ara (very historic place), Erachilpaara (water falls) etc and many more. Road from kochi upto munnar is superb and from munnar to marayoor is good (some patches only). So taking any vehicle to go there is possible. Recommending to visit this place on seasonal time for perfect climate. Even if not, climate will be still ok at times. Looking forward to visit again.

Reviewed By manusnadesanNice service provided by the staff. The location is also good. One of the best option if you want to stay in Kanthalloor. I opted for honeymoon package. The service provided by the staff is on excellent. One of the best budget stay option. No room heater and no ceiling fan. part from this the rooms are well maintained. Strongly recommended.

Reviewed By Amisha CWe ended up in Deshadan by a matter of chance. We had booked another property in Kanthalllor, but we couldn't reach it because of road closure. Our hosts arranged for us to stay at Deshadan instead, and there couldn't have been a better replacement. First of all, this Deshadan resort is set in the beautiful valley of Kanthalloor in the middle of the Shola forest. The setting is absolutely dreamy. We were literally walking on clouds, there were hardly any vehicles, and there were trees and orchards all around. The resort itself is built beautifully, the rooms are spotlessly clean, there are fruit trees on the property and the staff is more than eager to help out. We also happened to meet the resort owner, which added to the overall experience and hospitality. We were served hot steamy puttu and Kadhala curry for breakfast, which was our first, mouth-watering exposure to Kerala food. All in all, we left from Deshadan, craving for more. We will definitely be back.

Reviewed By Raju_1205Stay at St.Michael Garden home stay was very nice. Situated in Kanthalloor at 5000 ft above sea level, the rooms were very neat. They had food which was very homely. The place is at very scenic place in middle of nature. The temperature was around 8 degree and were able to enjoy mist and fog. This is around 17 kms from Marayur and journey is also breath taking. he place is famous for its cool season fruits and vegetables. Kanthalloor is famous for its apple, oranges, plums, peaches and variety of other fruits and vegetables. We were able to visit couple of farms and orchids. Main attraction is the Anaimudi Sholai National Park(Formerly known as the Mannavan Chola). A jeep trip inside the park is sooopper. Main attraction is the view point from where the hair pin curves of roads are marvelous,

Reviewed By avanigada16Very bad experience.... Room was very dirty... It's a small room area... Too much moisture over there.. Too much mosquitos over there... We told them too change the rooms as only 1room was occupied.. Rest was empty... But they told us guest is coming.... Nobody was there.... They did not accept there mistakes too... They only gave us good night... But our problem was not solve... In our bed sheets also black colour mosquito's was there... Plz don't go here... No service over there....
