Checkin online and recognition at front desk…very comfy, large suite on 4th deck…clean, modern bathroom with oversized shower. Quiet, comfy, temp easy to see and adjust…excellent breakfast buffet! Front desk team knowledgeable and helpful in addressing recommendations for local food! Excellence abounds…management cares and it is reflected in the care of guests! Strongly recommend this property!!!!

Easy checkin, but talk about deadsville?! Located near The Legends at Village West, where virtually nothing was open on a Friday night! We drove around and finally found an Applebee's that was open. Poorly maintained hotel with elevators not working?! Our first room had a non-functioning toilet and AC that would not turn off. Second room worked. In hallway, Exit sign was torn from wall and lying on floor. Breakfast was fine but room was crowded. Checkout took nearly 15 minutes because of lack of staff and poorly trained staff. This location is not ready for primetime, let alone Premier status.

Reviewed By iowatraveler71This is probably the most tired Hampton property I've ever visited. Rooms are dated, fridge didn't work, property outside is lacking in upkeep. The fence on the backside of the property is falling over. The next morning around 6a there was something going on outside with LOUD speakers/talking. I'm not sure what it was loud enough I could hear it with the windowns closed. I'm thinking something to do with the stadium next door? It didn't bother me but for those wishing to sleep in that morning.......halls are a little noisy. It is a nice area, however there are better options. I will say the entrance and breakfast area was warm and inviting, but that was the extent of the updated items.

Reviewed By Busigrrl21We stayed May 2022- two adults and one toddler. We arrived around 415p to check in and our room was ready. We were greeted by a friendly clerk and our keys were prepared. Breakfast on a Sunday would start at 7a and go to 930. We didn’t have a chance to enjoy breakfast but it did smell amazing in the elevator and lobby! We booked a King Suite and it worked well for our family. We have a Slumberpod and Hiccapop toddler bed and there was ample room in the main area of the suite to set up. We had plenty of outlets for the sound machine and crib camera. (It’s been a couple of years since we’ve traveled!) The room was very clean and felt recently remodeled. We were in room 225 and I don’t believe we ever heard other doors close or anyone in the hallway- which was great. All of the front desk staff was friendly and informative. Very adjacent to Legends Outlets- it was so nice to just walk over from the parking lot and know you didn’t have a long walk back. We could have walked to Children’s Mercy Park for graduation but weather didn’t help us out for that. The only “complaint” we had was the parking lot/outside. There’s construction next door and the parking lot is adjacent to an active construction site. We had to circle the property to determine the true front door (the building is marked, but there’s no overhang in case of rain and really not much signage to clearly mark the front door.) I also worried about driving over construction materials. There’s not a consecutive sidewalk around the property and some very blind corners- it was not fun to walk a toddler to the car. It’s not really anything the hotel can help- but other travelers might appreciate the heads up. Great location for the area- we’d stay here again if the need arises. Use Parallel Pkwy instead of State Ave if possible- it’s right there!

Disappointed!
Reviewed By Compass786265My husband and I wanted a nice seafood dinner prior to his surgery... scheduled for the next morning. We looked at reviews and chose McCormick and Schmick’s. We ordered the Chefs Choice, both entrees were luke warm and soggy. Hoping dessert would be better, we were served cold coffee. I don’ mind a $200 dinner but this was very disappointing.
