The bedding and linens very comfy and the kitchenette was perfect for our needs. We look forward to another stay at this majestic BnB!!

Set on the tip of the Homer Spit and overlooking Kachemak Bay, this relaxed hotel is a 3-minute walk from the ferry terminal and 6 miles from the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge. Cozy rooms, some with decks, feature satellite TV and free Wi-Fi, plus mini-fridges, microwaves and coffee makers. Upgraded rooms add bay views and sitting areas. Airy lodges with 1 to 3 bedrooms offer full kitchens and fireplaces. Parking is complimentary. There's a refined seafood restaurant with bay views and outdoor seating. Other amenities include an indoor heated pool, a beach side hot tub and a sauna.
LAND'S END is doing much better this year. Assume new management. They have a new coffee shop. some might like it as it is more 'upscale' with seats for computing, etc. Not much in the way of souvenirs. I liked their cards and tee shirts and sweatshirts. Even the neighbors were quieter! that's a biggie.

We offer four distinctly different hotel, motel and deluxe lodge-style buildings. The Driftwood Inn is a charming, historic, hotel, motel, and Inn located in the heart of Old-Town Homer near the beach in Homer, Alaska. Located next to Bishop's Beach in a secluded area of Old Town Homer, we offer economy rooms and a relaxed, homey atmosphere with partial views overlooking beautiful Kachemak Bay with its mountains, glaciers and coves. The Seaside & Bluffview Lodges feature modern and spacious lodging overlooking Bishop's Beach with breathtaking views of Kachemak Bay. The seaside Kachemak Cottage and intimate RV Park are located adjacent to the Inn; just a few steps away. The Woodside Fishing Suites are located about a block away on Pioneer Ave and feature 1 and 2 Bedroom Suites with kitchenettes.
My husband and I have stayed at the Driftwood Inn many times in the past 10+ years. We have stayed in a variety of their rooms and were excited to try the tiny little mermaid house. It is a bit expensive, but a cute little cabin in the RV park with its own bathroom and kitchen, so I think it is worth it. It is a little bright in the summer (could use some curtains on the front door), but otherwise we enjoyed our two nights there.

Very nice place. Quiet and peaceful. Great view of ocean from deck. Not down on the beach, but up above it by over 12 feet. No access from resort, but it can be gotten to nearby. Not a deal breaker. Room is very spacious. Large bed with incredibly soft and comfortable sheets. Fake fireplace makes for nice soft nightlight. Unique floor is made up of wood pieces. Not perfectly even, but easy and comfortable to walk on barefoot. Took a bit to figure out the shower controls. Kind of like trying to crack open a safe. After the initial full body blast of cold water, warm water never changed and stayed consistent throughout shower. Kind of exciting to figure out the different shower head options. Fun to watch my wife try. Large bathroom very well laid out. Large mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, Tea pot in room Three remote controls in the room. 1 for TV, 1 for TV and DirecTV. 1 for the King size bed. A remote for the bed!! It was awesome! Message yurt was great. Well worth the money. Machine messages but excellent chairs. Back and feet feel incredible and relaxed. Highly recommend! Had a visit from hotel Kitty. Made herself at home.

The day I left, the front desk left a voicemail on my phone letting me know I forgot my hat. When I called back, the gal that answered didn’t know about it so I heard her ask Barbie about it and heard Barbie say yes they had it. I asked if I mailed them a prestamped mailer, if they could pop it in the mail and they said yes. So I did just that. Then I got a call from Barbie saying they got rid of the hat because they didn’t know who it belonged to. So that was a straight out lie. I was blown away by the dishonesty. The room: we stayed downstairs so we had a view of rocks and the parking lot. The hallways were very dimly lit with different watts/different shades of yellow light bulbs by every single doorway, The hallway reeked of cigarettes, and it sounded like we had elephants in the room above us. They kept stomping around until close to midnight. The only decent thing about this place was the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. With the dishonesty factor alone, I’d not recommend this place or stay there again.

Brigitte's overlooks Kachemak Bay, the Kenai mountains and their glaciers. It is quiet here, at the end of the road. All rooms have a nice view from outside and within, private entry/porch and bath. Each contains a queen size bed and a twin. Books on Alaska are in each and there a fossils from the area. Walkways lead into the gardens. Hiking trails start from right outside the rooms.
We stayed here one night. Immaculate lodging. Surrounded by gardens of flowers and berries. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Willie is a great source of information and local history. Even a resident bald eagle!

Open year round! Rates listed are summer rates, reduced winter rates until May. Relax on your private deck taking in views of the Homer Spit, Kachemak Bay, glaciers, cranes, moose and eagles. We have 3 different sizes of cabins to accommodate your needs. Range from small cabin that sleeps 2, standard cabins sleep 2 to 4 and large 2 bedroom cabin can sleep up to 8. All cabins have gas grills on deck, satellite tv, free wi-fi. Fully equipped with linens, towels and cookware. Sit around one of the 4 firepits and share stories of your Alaska vacation while watching the bay!
Well appointed cabins for a relaxing stay. Kitchenettes are fully stocked with dishes, cookware and some cleaning supplies. Just bring your food! Quiet location and minutes to town. Love the large grassy field out front of the cabins for our small dog to play. There are 3 very friendly large dogs that come to visit from the house next door. The largest dog is one gentle giant! Two different cabins I’ve stayed in have a king bed and fold out futon. The king bed doesn’t slit to 2 twins. The cabins are fresh and clean.
