A trip to Hiroshima is best kicked off with a visit to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, which contains a museum, the remnants of buildings destroyed by the 1945 atomic bomb and monuments to the people killed by this nuclear attack. Understanding Hiroshima’s relatively recent devastation is key to fully appreciating its beauty and culture. Visit splendidly rebuilt historic sites like Hiroshima Castle and Shukkei-en Garden, and don’t miss the Itsukushima Shrine on the nearby island of Miyajima.

Hotel Granvia Hiroshima in the ideal location directry connected to JR Hiroshima Station.A great deal of sophisticated hospitality welcomes you!Check-in Time 14:00Check-out Time 12:00
We selected this hotel based solely on location because dragging baggage around town can be trouble. This hotel is connected to the train station but you would never know it, it’s so quiet! The hotel itself is nice and clean. The rooms are outdated but clean. Typical hard Japanese bed. But the location just can’t be beat. Literally go down the elevator and the Shinkansen is right there, around the corner are the JR lines and through the terminal is the street car.

The hotel was really great! The view is great if you get a room that faces the street and the water. The room is small, but not the smallest we’ve tried. It’s well located, and we were able to walk to the peace memorial. It does take a bit of time, but we really like walking so it’s no problem for us. There’s a convenience store across the street and it’s also close to transport. It was uncomplicated to get to the ferry to go to Miyajima from the hotel. All in all, the hotel was a pleasant surprise, and i recommend staying here if you’re in Hiroshima.

We are located in Hatchobori, the downtown area of Hiroshima. Our location makes us ideal as both a business hub in and around the fast-developing city of Hiroshima and as a tourist base for two World Heritage Sites: the A-Bomb Dome and Miyajima Itsukushima Shrine.
It’s my fault, I should have checked more clearly the size and layout of room, we booked a double, would have to be the smallest double bed in the world, with one side pressed against the wall, trapping you in. There are no wardrobes, no complimentary water, or humidifier which we had found in other Japanese hotels. Very claustrophobic, a bit like being in a tent. The bathroom they have turned into a mini onsen, which means the shower goes all over the floor, not great unless you want to have a bath. Hotel well located, easy walk to Peace Memorial, lots of shops and restaurants It’s located in entertainment district, so noisy at nights if you open window. Good breakfast, including fresh egg station. Easy to get to, catch tram 1,2 or 6 from station, get off at sixth stop and it’s a short walk.

With a stylish exterior designed in the image of Rijo, Hiroshima's famous "Carp Castle", the RIHGA Royal Hotel Hiroshima offers a wealth of facilities and services befitting a hotel of the 21st century. This new symbol of Hiroshima, an international city of peace and culture, is sure to meet your every expectation.
This hotel provides great views and has an excellent location. Service is also excellent, food is excellent. My criticisms are there are no microwaves and parking is an absolute nightmare. We wanted to heat up baby food and sometimes bring in outside food but nothing to heat it up with. The hotel shares a parking lot with a very busy mall that is connected to the building. If you drive be prepared to wait anywhere from 5-30 mins to park your car and they have a very inconvenient system of constantly having to bother the staff to provide parking tickets for free parking. Other than that it’s a great hotel and worth the money.

We had a twin room on the 7th floor but outside the window was just a wall. No view whatsoever which was fine given it was only for one night and we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room but it was kind of dark in the morning. The room felt very clean. There is an empty fridge and an air cleaner/humidifier. I was most impressed with the breakfast buffet. It’s about 1,400 yen pp but I had a breakfast inclusive package. They have a very extensive variety of food, many of them being locally sourced. Not impressed by the coffee which was average, but that is expected. It’s about 10 min walk from Hiroshima Bus Center and very close to shops and convenience stores.

Very good modern hotel in an excellent location. Easy short walk to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Easy short bus from the JR station to the hotel. Surrounding streets have good food options, shops etc. Our room was comfy and cosy. Small but very clean and modern private toilet/shower room. Downstairs communal area was nice and spacious. Friendly staff and nice touches like origami instructions on the downstairs tables :). Also convenient luggage storage facility. Thanks for a great stay!

This hotel is located in Hiroshima (Hiroshima City Centre), close to Memorial Cathedral for World Peace, Hiroshima Castle, and Shukkeien. Also nearby are Hiroshima Museum of Art and Atomic Bomb Dome. Yokokawa station is only a 1-minute walk.
I stayed with my husband and my four year old unstoppable son. This very family-friendly yet upper-middle business hotel truly accommodates every needs of any travelers. They offer free drinks and snacks almost all day long, even a glass of sparkling wine - what a pleasant surprise! Definitely recommend to book a room with breakfast, the choices are amazing and you never get bored if you stay a couple of nights. I found a gem and joined membership to come back soon.

Hotel in a great location with friendly and helpful staff. Good room size per standard in Japan. However, I would definitely look for another hotel for my next visit to Hiroshima because of the following 1. central heating (warm air only, my visit on 01-Dec for 4 nights) even when temperature of air conditioner panel was set to their minimum 18 degree Celsius. The room became extremely hot and stuffy especially no window could be opened. Their staff was helpful and responded quickly to my request of a cooling fan but the ventilation was still not satisfactory. 2. window could not be opened. hotel explained in writing this was due to safety reason which I found difficult to comprehend. It just made the room stuffy and hot 3. smell of cigarettes in my non-smoking room (same for my friend’s room who was just next door). I told the reception who arranged another round of cleaning the following morning and smell of cigarette mostly gone. I hope such cleaning was done before my check-in 4. No shower cap, so pls bring your own

Very good but still Japanese style hotel. Stayed here with family last year in two rooms. The rooms are great and sort of roomy with a lot of amenities. However, in 2022 I had to stay twice unexpectedly. The first room was great, had toiletries, chargers and was very comfortable. The second night I came back I got a room on the 4th floor. Bare minimum essentials. Overall I enjoy this hotel. Worth a stay but get a room higher up.
