Our unit was amazingly clean- one of the nicest cleanest places we've ever stayed. Grounds were lovely too. And really convenient location in Hahei. Great fish and chips at the ice cream shop, and coffee at the little blue penguin pop up- makes all the difference! Hosts were very nice friendly people. gave us some flexibility too after booking which was appreciated. We'd certainly stay again and have already recommended to a friend.

Leave the city behind and stay on the beachfront in Hahei - regularly voted one of the best beaches in The Coromandel and New Zealand. There's plenty of adventure with Cathedral Cove and Te Whanganui A Hei Marine Reserve on our doorstep. With over 7 hectares of award-winning grounds there’s space for everyone to find a pathway to the beach. The Seaview Villas look directly over Hahei Beach with ever-changing views of the Mercury Bay Islands from sunrise to sunset. The Beachfront Bachs are ideal for friends and family - stay together or book neighboring baches so everyone can have their space. The nostalgic cabins are great value for family getaways, all less than a minute walk to Hahei Beach! We have Allpress barista-made coffee available onsite every day. From November to Easter weekend, the onsite outdoor bar, gourmet burgers and woodfired pizzas are open on weekends and additional hours in peak summer times - check on our social media pages for the opening hours. The hot tubs on the dunes are always a favourite, check fees and availability to book your spot when you get here. The Resort is walking distance to Cathedral Cove, so put the car keys away and avoid the parking hassle. The Hahei Village with a general store, craft brewery, and cafes is a short stroll. Hot Water Beach is 10 minutes drive. Come and relax on the beachfront with friends and family - the pristine Coromandel coast and marine reserve are the ultimate natural playground.
Fantastic - as always! Nice to see some positive changes since the last time we stayed, love the recipes in the kitchen & the new shower curtains. The hot tub is fantastic - what an awesome experience & you can't beat the view! It was quite different visiting in winter but loved how the big tree was lit up at night, and enjoyed the fact that it was a bit quieter than when we usually visit.

We only stayed one night at Hahei Horizon Bed and Breakfast. We would have love to stay longer! The hosts are just so lovely! Our room was perfect! From the B&B, you can easily reach major tourist sites of the region. And how can we not talk about the breakfast?!? Delicious, marvelous! Juice, coffee/tea, bread, eggs or even pancakes if you want. Depending on the weather, you eat either outside or inside. Anyway, the view of the Ocean is simply beautiful. Highly recommended if you want to visit the Coromandel peninsula.

We stayed in Purangi Garden (ie., yurt) for the holidays. We truly had a great time. We were able to go by the beach -- there were free kayaks to use; had a fantastic walk around the gardens and lastly -- done astrophotography (the sky was clear and there were lots of visible stars - might even have seen Comet Leonard). We really needed this time to relax after a very stressful year and being in lockdown for so long in Auckland. Thank you very much, Sue & Rod, for your generosity and warm hospitality - the beautiful flower arrangements in the yurt and the fruits waiting for us on the table - yummy avos and sweet plums. The bonus of getting those cute, little succulents from Sue to bring home with us to Auckland was such a lovely gesture. The conversations we had with Sue and Rod were warm and thoughtful. We appreciate you guys looking after us whilst we were there. You guys feel like family to us having visited Purangi Garden for the 6th time now (4x in the Purangi house and 2x in the Yurt). Have a wonderful, safe and healthy 2022! Wish you all the success and prosperity.

Perfect stay in Hahei. This was our 1st New Zealand stop off and our favourite. Hahei is magical and this cosy and cute little studio was the perfect place to stay for it. Less than 5 mins to the most lovely beach and the beach epicentre (also small with a lovely welcoming/ buzzy atmosphere) which included cafe/shop and pub. Also good distance to get to popular Cathedral Cove, hot water beach etc. Short drive to hot water beach (and the property provides a spade for this activity ) and clearly directed pathway 2 mins away for Cathedral cove plus were given helpful instruction from owners. The property itself is lovely, clean and well equipped. The owners are very helpful and friendly. They have thought of everything. It's unlikely I would look at anywhere else to stay if I came to Hahei again and as it captured my heart, we would definately love to return one day. 5 stars! X

We live onsite in a private residence with a separate dwelling which has two bedrooms, each with their own private bathrooms. One room has an ensuite and the other room has an attached bathroom with access next door to the bedroom. Both rooms open onto the veranda.. There are outdoor tables & chairs for each room. The rooms are sunny, modern, spacious, and face a picturesque private garden. Please note we are not a Hotel with Hotel facilities. Breakfast is not included but each room has a small fridge, microwave, pantry with sundries, kettle & toaster if guests choose to bring their own food. There are restaurants & cafes within 300 metres of our home serving beverages, breakfast, lunch & dinner. Each room has wifi & smart Tv. There is free parking to guests on the driveway outside the rooms. Hahei beach is a gentle stroll 600 metres from our home.
A handy apartment not far from cafes and the beach. Owner very pleasant, provided spades for Hot Water Beach. Effectively a motel, rather than a B&B, with cafes comfortably within walking distance. No pressure to be out during the day, and has a pleasant verandah to sit and relax on. Comfortable bed. A pleasant 2 night stay.
