The newest Room Motels to join the family, Gympie. We are so pleased to open Room Motels Gympie in May 2019. This motel, although very similar to our other two, is innovative & breaking the moulds again. We have 29 rooms in total, with 2 Pet Friendly rooms & 2 Mobility rooms. Our rooms also have a kitchenette which includes a toaster, kettle, microwave & mini fridge. We are also happy to say our rooms, just like Kingaroy & Gatton, also have 20 Foxtel channels to choose from with a 49" Smart TV to view from. The motel has in room breakfast available & even an electric charging station for any Tesla owners out there.
We stayed overnight we would highly recommend the service provided by Phil. The room was immaculate, modern and spacious. Breakfast was fantastic. We would definitely stay there again. We had a great meal at Gympie RSL.

Experience the best Gympie has to offer. Stylish accommodation, Conference and Function Facilities, Little Mary's Bar and Restaurant. Delicious food and fine wine mixed with modern, comfortable surrounds and friendly staff make for a memorable stay. See you soon.
Very clean and comfortable Motel that is run by hard working owner. Nothing was too much trouble. Close to town and easy access to everything. Extremely quiet considering the Motel is on a major highway. Undercover parking which is always a bonus.

We've been staying here for the past 3 days and all I can say "Wow! Fantastic Place to stay for a home away from home atmosphere"! Stephen and Lisa were great hosts and always willing to please. And James was a total gentleman, always willing to help in any way he can. A totally beautiful property with great staff, great food and service. Definitely recommend it as a place to stay while in Gympie...

The Gympie Muster Inn is located only a 5 minute walk to the CBD.Conveniently surrounded by Restaurants, Hotels and several take away outlets. We offer free WIFI and undercover parking
My family stayed one night at the Gympie Muster Inn. The positives: - Friendly staff - Great location - Affordable - Nice size room The negatives: - People smoke everywhere, on the steps, in the parking lot, in front of your room. Yuck. - Pool is disappointing, small and dirty. - There was a ball of hair in our room - Very noisy, the bathroom windows are really high and couldn't close them to minimise the sound.

Unfortunate circumstances caused us to find a place for the night or two and so glad we found Shady Rest. Clean and tidy, wonderful operator, great hot shower, towels and toiletries, and a comfortable bed. Will definitely book again when needing accommodation in Gympie.

Travelling from Brisbane to Rockhampton, we phoned this run-down motel at approx. 8.45pm. We had just flown in from interstate and since it was raining quite hard, we decided that we wouldn't risk travelling past Gympie in the rain at that hour of the night. This rude and extremely unprofessional woman grunted as she answered the phone. I asked if she had a room available for that night and after more grumbles from her, she accepted our booking and quoted $10 more than the room was advertised at. I explained that we were approx. an hour away and we reluctantly made our way to what had already presented itself as the motel to absolutely avoid at any cost. When we arrived approx 10 to 15 mins later than we had hoped (it absolutely poured with rain which slowed our journey), I can honestly say that she could not possibly have been any more rude and her behaviour was far less than that expected of somebody running a motel. If she didn't want to take a booking at that hour, it would be far more professional to have said that they were fully booked or just not have answered the phone if she didn't know how to set up a voicemail indicating that reception was closed. AND she should have had the intuition to alter her "Vacancy" sign to "No Vacancy" so that she didn't have to put her rude self on display to travellers spending their money at such an institution. Please avoid this nightmare as I am sure that whatever you did whilst booking or checking in, would still see you as disappointed and astonished as we were.

Luxury 4 star, pet friendly B&B. Our spacious ensuite rooms are air conditioned and separate from the house. Each has its own entrance and verandah overlooking the gardens for extra privacy. Our hearty cooked breakfasts, full of local and homemade goodies, are a great way to start your day!
We had booked a 4 night stay for the middle of October 2021. We made the booking through Booking.com a platform we regularly use. We paid for the four nights accommodation immediately and received a confirmation email stating the booking was confirmed. Upon receiving this email we then went ahead and made and paid for three activities in the Gympie area which we planned to attend during our 4 day stay. This was a big commitment involving several hundreds of dollars. Sadly the next morning I received a phone call for the owner/manager of the B&B who proceeded to tell me that a mistake had been made with my booking and we could only stay three nights not four and could we not change our booking. I was told some rather odd story about how somebody else must have been online and booked one of the nights whilst I was making my booking. All rather odd. He proceeded to cancel our booking with total disregard for any plans we had made. Be very cautious if looking to book at this establishment.

Six modern cottages situated on the highest point overlooking 240 acres with 1300 Mango Trees and several lakes and dams. The Cottages are two bedrooms with a Queen size bed in one and two king singles in the other. There is a lounge suite and flat screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The front of the cottage has a deck with views to Mt Kanigan. There is an inground saltwater Pool and a covered BBQ area for the exclusive use of the guests of the cottages.
While the owner was friendly and accommodating during our stay the cabin had spider's webs in the living area, on the washing line, and in the peg basket. The deck, outside table and chairs all had bird or chicken poo on them. The pool was covered in algae so couldn't even use it. We didn't complain at the time because it was only for nights. I have an honest review on Booking.com then a day later was charged 200.00 for 'not following policies', I messaged the owner but have had no response. Booking.com have been no help either. I don't like confrontation so will just put it down to a bad experience. I just gave a review because at 200.00 a night for a couple people should be aware of what they are getting for their money

I was to stay but my sat navigation could not find the place. I pulled over at 8pm and tried to find a phone number to contact but couldn't and subsequently drove back to Gympie and stayed at another property. Around 11pm the owner of laurel view called to ask if I was still coming I explained that I had been unable to find and also couldn't find a phone number to contact them. I have requested a refund and have been refused

Property is rundown and staff are rude anarrogant people. The room was very old but clean and comfortable, the laundry has no signage and in disrepair just like the BBQ area where everyone smokes. I could not work out how to get to the pool.
