Firstly the staff were excellent, very helpful. The room was small, not much bigger than the bed. The only food available in the evening were pre-prepared meals which were microwaved which were not particularly appetizing. We arrived for breakfast at about 9 am to find that there was no bread or croissants left. Some sliced bread was provided. I appreciate this is a budget hotel but at 82 euros a night I expect better.

I booked this hotel on booking.com. It stated the money was pay on arrival but the hotel took the money immediately. Shark practice. When I arrived I saw they had a bistro and I asked them if they were serving food and they said yes and it’s all home cooked and fresh. They have a set menu for €24 so I decided to eat after a long day driving 400 miles. The salad came out and was ok but far too much hard cheese cubes and the tomatoes were almost frozen. The pizza was next one of their specialties judging by the pizza signs ! Well it arrived and look fabulous. As soon as I started cutting it I realised something was wrong ! The base was uncooked and the pastry base still raw and like uncooked dough. The waitress was having none of it then the chef came out and told me if he cooks another it will be the same !! I was not winning ! In the end they did some chips for me which were over cooked and I left and cancelled breakfast ! I then found it ridiculous the receptionist chewed me the full price even though I didn’t have a dessert !!! The sale, wine and chips came to €14 but she insisted on €24. Sadly a franchise hotel and no management to resolve these issues. A shame as with effort this could be a nice hotel !

The Hotel is easy to access and is close to the local intermarche and Lidl. If you’re looking for a place that is clean with no frills this is the perfect place. There is a little noise from the road but nothing to worry about. Very peaceful otherwise. Lovely garden to sit in. The pool is lovely and very clean also. We thought the pool was closed but the lovely staff said we could use it and even managed to dig out and clean some sun loungers for us after saying they were packed away from winter. They went over and above our expectations. The customer service is exemplary. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile. They were even patient with my terrible french and we muddled through it just nicely. The breakfast is continental. Very nice and enough to set you up for the day. We came away to spend some time as a couple whilst the kids were away doing their own thing. My parents live up the road so we coincided it with a visit to them. Thoroughly recommend. Very close to the town of Foix which is gorgeous and well worth a visit. Thank you very much!

The Auberge is fine but lives of the fact that it has exqisite views and you're sucked into thinking that everything is perfect. It's not. The rooms (chalets) are adequate but lacking in finesse and the food is good but 3 types of duck out of 6 main courses doesn't really work for me. The swimming pool was really cold despite being told that it was a constant 26°. No it wasn't!!

You'll be next to the local shops, markets, different places of life and leisure in the city, and 5 minutes walking from the train station. We can accommodate people with disabilities including for the accommodation of people in wheelchairs, with 1 adapted room.
An excellent location to explore the town and the surrounding areas. The furniture is not modern, but in very good shape. The rooms and bed were comfortable. The restaurant was closed due to COVID, but we were able to have breakfast one morning. It was a typical breakfast without anything too extravagant. The ro

Lovely hotel. The room is not huge but big enough. Staff are very friendly and speak English and French. The food in the restaurant is good. The restaurant is cosy and has a log fire going in the evening at dinner time. I enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in this small town. ??

Stayed here for a couple of nights on the way home to break up the journey. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a small 2 room tent type thing with a small kitchenette. Comfortable enough and clean as were the toilet and shower blocks. The campsite also has facilities for laundry although we did not make use of those. There is free wi-fi and the pool was clean and in good condition. The lake was beautiful as is the surrounding countryside. We didn’t eat at the on site bar but they offer pizza and a variety of other dishes. There was a small market setup on the Friday, the day we left, selling local produce, cheese, wine etc... there was also entertainment on the Wednesday night. Overall a good place to stay.

We stayed here while doing the Sentier Cathare. Actually we were looking to stay at nearby Roquefixade but this wonderful chambre d'hote is only a couple of miles further on and - well worth it! Owners Leen and Dirk were very friendly, couldn't do enough to help and we had a nice room. They gave us a fantastic evening meal, starting with aperitifs on the terrace - great views - all home-cooked food and with some pleasant surprises. It was a great pleasure staying with them.

In the earth of the medieval center, Sonia will be pleased welcome you in her so nice house from the 18th century probably known by cathars and counts of Foix.
Highly recommend L'Arche des Chapeliers. It's a charming and quaint B&B located in the old town section of Foix. Beautiful views of the castle, mountains & the town of Foix. Sonia is a delightful and pleasant host. All resturants are within easy walking distance.

The downstairs room is adapted for people with disabilities - it has a walk in shower and two single beds. All the rooms have TVs and a kettle for tea or coffee. The shampoo and shower gel is organic. Breakfast is served at the table, with home-made jam, cheese and free-range eggs amongst other choices. Most of the produce is organic and locally sourced. "La Ciboueltte" is also a small family-run restaurant, serving fresh, home-made food with exotic flavours, catering for vegetarians. Please contact them directly to enquire for the days they are open.
Stayed for a night. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Accommodation was very comfortable with a big bathroom. I liked having a kettle and cup and saucers in our room, for that early cup of tea when you wake up. Breakfast was plentiful with many choices. Very peaceful lovely location. CB Australia
