Reviewed By ReviewChimpLast time we went to China a few years ago we hit one of the hot spring resorts and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, so on a recent return trip to the country we were keen to go to a hot spring and decided on an overnight stay at Dragon Bay. The price we paid (including return coach from central Guangzhou) was a pittance (about £30 each for a "three person" room) when you compare to what we might pay in the west BUT we did find out why it was so cheap. On the surface, the place looks and feels grand, the hotel room we were set up in was not bad but was far superior to anything you could get for £30 a head in the UK I should imagine. It was a twin bed room, and when we arrived the maid was approaching the room to set up the third "bed", an uncomfortable mattress on a rubbish metal stand. Still, you do get what you pay for... After settling in we hit the outdoor springs, sadly, this was no Bishuiwan (the place we visited last time, and which we revisited again on our recent trip), half of the pools were closed, the wave pool was turned off (we were informed that there was no point in operating this as there was hardly any customers), the lunch meal that was provided was inedible, there were barely any towels available, drinks were few and far between, some pools were dirty, the snacks available were bad, very bad (stale sandwiches with thinly spread "marmalade" being highly unsought after), it was just generally "meh". After our meal (a buffet which was overall poor, consisting of rapidly cooling noodles, rice, and things which were of an indeterminate origin) we hit the pools again at night where we watched a bad stage show featuring "dancers" who looked like they wished they were elsewhere and children doing balancing acts. I quizzed whether it was legal for children to be working at night, but it was explained that they would send any and all monies back to their families, and it was a better option than begging or living on the streets. The next morning we had a buffet breakfast with some of the items being what was left in the dinner buffet the night before (a common theme in all of the hotels we stayed in) and I relaxed in the room whist everyone else went for another dip in the springs. Before we left, the wife and I took a stroll around the grounds which turned out to be much more fun than the springs themselves. We came across ponds of Koi carp, the holiday apartments that you may choose to rent, a seemingly abandoned garden site which was full of windmills and water wheels. There was some great scenery there. Overall the springs were a decidedly average affair, not bad considering the price to be fair, but everything was just a bit lacklustre. I would recommend you visit Bishuiwan instead if you're after a hot spring experience as Dragon Bay just didn't compare.

楽しい温泉プール
Reviewed By 591masa冬場だったのでとても空いていました。流石にプールは入れません。水着が必要です。色々なテーマの露天風呂が楽しめます。セルフのお茶などもありましたが、空いていたせいかお風呂脇までお茶を持ってきてくれました。サービスの良さにびっくりしました。全体的に温度が低く感じました。

Reviewed By CatCat888雖然曾經是得獎的溫泉酒店，但這都已是過去式吧！ 酒店某些角落有霉臭氣味。餐廳服務員水準是一般平民酒家的水準而已。食物質素亦差。溫泉雖然有多種泉供應，但非常不潔，而且都有很多空池。唯一最難忘是溫泉區有玉石床區域，我們躺在石塊上，感覺很悠閒輕鬆。住的房間在地面的一層，導遊說是讓大家方便前往浸溫泉，但其實窗子對外就是有車子停泊著，會有人走過，於是我們有窗等如沒有窗，有如在小旅館的密室內。更甚，入住的頭幾個鐘，房間不時暗暗傳來渠臭氣味，而且燈光又昏黃陰暗。唯一比較意外是溫泉的更衣室尚算乾淨整潔。 Although this hotel was awarded before, this was really a past tense. Some areas in this hotel have stinky smell. Then, the service in their restaurant doesn't reach the standard of a hotel. It just like a frugality place. Although the hotel provides different kind of hot spring waterpools, the spring water isn't clean and some of the pools are empty. The only comfortable memory in the hot spring area is lying down on the stone beds, relaxing ourselves. We stayed in a room that located on the ground floor because our tourist guide said that this would be more convenience for us to go to the hot spring area. However, right outside the window of our room is a car park and people is walking outside. Therefore, we drew the curtain close all the time, like staying in an economy room of an small inn. Moreover the light in the room isn't bright enough. The worst was during the first few hours, my room was from time to time filled with a smell, which seems came from stinky draining pipe.

Reviewed By fungyee124這次跟村裡人到這裡旅遊，感覺很棒。房間很大，住悅泉苑在陽台還有溫泉池。設備很好，很少見到在玄關還有水糟，不用特地去浴室接水煮開水。不過餐廳的質素要改善，連絲瓜都煮不熟。
