This is our fourth time staying at Mount Scott Homestead and we couldn't recommend it more as a place to stay to explore the beautiful Flinders. The camp fire outside is perfect for gathering as a family outdoors at night with the comforts of the homestead to sleep well.

We had a large group (9 cars & 15 people) from our 4wd club stay here for 6 nights, the staff were very accomodating and the laundry & shower facilities were clean and user friendly, the drive on Skytrek was a great way to spend the day with amazing views, the campsite was large enough to fit us all in and with a central fire pit we spent most of the nights cooking and chatting around the warm fire.

Located 430-kilometres north of Adelaide (approximately five hours drive), Rawnsley Park Station is a multi-award winning property that adjoins the Flinders Ranges National Park and overlooks the southern side of Wilpena Pound. The Flinders Ranges is one of Australia's 'National Landscapes' characterized by rugged mountain ranges, spectacular gorges, sheltered creeks lined with River Red Gums and abundant wildlife. This area is world-renowned for its geological history, Aboriginal rock art sites and impressive fossil remains.
We had a unit and it was very clean and comfortable, even had electric blankets which you don’t normally get anywhere, so the bed was nice and warm to hop into on the 3 freezing nights we stayed. It was well appointed, we didn’t need much anyway, the water was super hot in the shower. It was suggested to me to take our own drinking water which we were glad we did. Staff all super friendly and helpful. We did a 4WD 4 hr tour with Lachie and we had the best time, the best views etc etc which we would never have had otherwise. I would be a passenger in his 4WD any day, he has amazing experience and lots to tell us about. Definitely do that with him!

Located on a 30000 acre sheep station just below the spectacular Wilpena Pound. Rawnsley Park Caravan Park offers a unique accommodated or camping experience that will not be forgotten.
We stayed in the campground for 2 nights during our Flinders Ranges honeymoon trip. Everything we could have wanted was within close proximity. Toilets, showers, laundry and camp kitchen. Lovely staff upon book in, a very scenic 4WD tour and an even better Dinner at the Woolshed Restaurant. A place we will most definitely stay again.

Built in the 1880's Meaney’s Rest is one of the oldest residential dwellings in Hawker. The original interior stonework highlighted by LED down lights reflects the majestic colours of the surrounding cliff faces within the local area. The original kitchen has been transformed into a relaxing outdoor room adjoining the barbecue area, with original fireplace and pressed tin ceilings. Even though the building is 1880's vintage, it maintains all modern amenities including an upgraded kitchen, bathroom with spa and modern furnishings. Free wifi, games console (retro Nintendo), Google Home devices and a selection of DVDs can help you while away the time if you so choose. Meaneys rest is central to all facilities including the Geoff Morgan art gallery and it’s famous panorama, local store, garage and local community gym. Spacious and comfortable this house is the perfect getaway to enjoy the magnificent Flinders Ranges. Under new management as of Sep 2017.
There are only good things to say about the accommodation, the hosts and the location. It is spotlessly clean, spacious, extremely comfortable and has all the amenities you could wish for and many more. Great outdoor area as well. Hawker is a great central base from which to explore the Flinders.
