Our little family got in around 9pm. The lady working the front desk on May 10/22 was a sweet heart. She was very accommodating and helpful. The kids were excited to play in the games room so we snuck in a quick game of pool and darts before we headed to bed. The rooms were clean and not all like one of the reviews I had read. Most reviews were great but there was one that nearly made me not want to book here. I’m glad we decided to book because I now feel this will be our go to spot whenever we pass through. They have a huge shared kitchen with everything you need. A free laundry room and if you don’t have any detergent…they got you covered for a small fee. Lots of board games and a theatre room that you can rent a movie from the front desk. We weren’t able to do this as we got in one hour before all things were closed(10pm). The laundry you can do around the clock. My only suggestion to Management is to have everything open till 11pm. The games room and pool are down in the basement so it wouldn’t disturb any guests. The hot tub, sauna and movie room as well. I found 10pm to be early as we got in later. We were giving a couple breakfast bags to take to our rooms which consisted of a couple apples, muffins, yogurts and spoons. We asked for a late check out as we wanted to enjoy some of the amenities the next day and the lady working the front desk was understanding and said no problem. The only bad thing I’d say besides everything closing at 10pm is the mini fridge in the room got a bit noisy at night but all in all if definitely recommend staying here.

If you want a quiet sleep stay at the back of the hotel ? Front desk staff , Din Din, whom we have now met on on 2-3 stays is not only very efficient but friendly and even remembers my name. Rooms can be warm so remember to use the AC. Hot tub definitely an added bonus as we usually drive 8 hrs a day!

Nice hotel with great views and good location. It's easily walkable to the centre of town in a few mins, and the hotel has some commanding views of the majestic mountains in the background. The room was very large and spacious, with comfortable but older furnishings. The hotel feels a little old, but is rustic and nice. Breakfast was okay, and there's a pub next door which is good too. Staff were helpful and friendly. I'd probably stay here again when I return. Nice spot with a good balcony too!

If you want the local Fernie experience there is no better place to stay in Fernie. The best bar in town is right downstairs! The new pods are pretty sweet for the privacy they provide but the hostel experience of meeting other travelers is not sacrificed.

Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites Fernie offers the most value for your money. We offer clean spacious rooms, a Subway restaurant on-site, and free Wi-Fi throughout the property.
This hotel is really run down and starting to show its age. Our front door didn’t close all the way and u could see the outside light coming in near the lock and the traffic highway noise is so loud it was like pitching a tent on the side of the road. No comforters on the beds only a thin fleece blanket. Lumpy pillows. TV small and guide was blurry from the farthest bed so I didn’t bother watching TV. Inadequate lighting with the light switches in awkward places. The hot pool was nice but very far from the rooms. The whole place needs an overhaul in my opinion. Nice steakhouse across the street which was nice to be able to walk to. I wouldn’t stay here again. Much better options in Fernie.
