A hidden place…Where nature sings in absolute freedom, echoing the listeners inner voice…Carrying the beautiful smell of the Mountains in its breeze…A blend of Shiraz and Yakut pouring into the Mediterranean delights at late evening tables...A visual festival where green and blue, mountains and waves dance…Sweat serendipity of water and soil, meeting at the heart of ancient Lydia in Faralya.A place for two, to live a dream…That is why Perdue is a bit different from a classical boutique hotel idea. It is not only a hotel, but a sound, smell, a taste and a smooth cuddling… It is an escape for two, where adventure and excitement sleep next to calmness and silence. When was the last time you layed your feet on the ground?Or woke up in the middle of the nature…When was the last time you washed your face in the seaOr gathered your own tomato for breakfast…Have you ever enjoyed nature in comfort?Or listened to your lovers voice accompanied by a Mediterranean song…Have you ever witnessed sunset on the top of the endless seaPerdue is a film studio for you to recreate those movements, calls you to be the producer, director and actor of a wonderland…
The setting and layout of this hotel I’m sure cannot be beaten. Directly on the seafront, the way the paths weave throughout the rocks has been beautifully done and offers no end of places to explore and relax. However, I’m not convinced it warrants the exceptionally high price tag. The highlights - we stayed in infinity room 1 which had an uninterrupted view out to the ocean, with only the sounds of the sea and birds to go to sleep to and wake up to. Food was on the whole exceptional (breakfast, snacks and dinner). Cocktails were very tasty and they were more than happy to go off menu and create something special. Best Bloody Mary I’ve had in a long time - with freshly pulped tomatoes. Token welcome/departure gifts were very much appreciated. Why I’m calling it ‘rough around the edges’ - for almost 400EUR a night I expect pretty much everything to work as, or better than, expected and it didn’t. The mobile phone they gave us upon arrival to call for room service from anywhere on the property kept switching off so we usually ended up just having to walk to the bar. The jacuzzi in our room had no cold water, so whilst they sent someone up quickly on night 1, we lost 20 mins of relaxing sunset time whilst it was fixed. On night 2 it didn’t work again, but we couldn’t find anyone, so we couldn’t use it until well after dark after the water had cooled down for a few hours. They said breakfast started at 8:30, we arrived promptly at 8:30 on our last morning as we had to leave at 9:15, but didn’t get any service (drinks or food) until 8:50, so we lost half the breakfast time. Upon arrival, we were left sitting around for about 20 mins before checking in the room, no idea why. Drink and food prices are very high, ~250 TRY for cocktails. Bed was comfy, but I think only a double so felt a little cramped. Whilst some of the staff were very helpful and courteous, others looked frankly miserable so not super pleasant to be around. Overall, these are small things which wouldn’t bother me at most places, but for the cost, it was just a bit disappointing. Also re the activities which I was wondering about myself before booking - boat was 1400TRY to hire for 2 hours. Yoga was apparently ‘on demand’ but we didn’t try it. Art/trekking were on certain days 2-3 times / week, but maybe that changes in high season. Cinema was apparently 10PM every night. Would I recommend it to friends to visit? Probably - the setting was a magical experience unlike anything I’ve ever encountered. Would I go again myself? Not as it was.

You can enjoy and drink while you are watching mountains from the outdoor restaurant’s terrace.
We stayed here while doing a part of the Lycian way. This place was all we could hope for after a long day of hiking. Rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly and they prepared some of the best food (diner and breakfast) we've had during our 2 weeks stay in Turkey. The location is beautiful as well, overlooking Butterfly Valley. Highly recommended.

This is a gem of a hotel both in design and location. Set away from the main road, you have to park in a car park free of charge and then take a truck to the actual hotel on a beaten track. The ride is 10-minutes. The hotel is located on the sea facing rocks and the view is incredible. The rooms and hotel design is cleaver and you never feel crowded. Staff amazing, friendly and supportive. Really impressed by this hidden gem. As well as great food the hotel is gorgeous four-legged friends.. cats that are adorable. They keep you company at meals time . This a superb place and so easy going. You have a choice of swimming in the sea or swimming pool. There is a games room and your can eat anywhere you want. Absolutely fabulous and another return trip soon.

An unspoilt setting, luxurious surroundings and a warm, personal welcome... Opened in the summer of 2007, Mandarin is a delightful boutique hotel situated in an unspoilt natural setting close to south-west Turkey's magnificent Turquoise Coast. Perfect for nature lovers who also value a touch of luxury and a high level of personal service, Mandarin has been designed as a stylish and supremely comfortable hideaway, which nevertheless boasts a pleasantly informal atmosphere without any hint of stuffiness or pretension. Mandarin comprises just eight guestrooms and thus offers a very intimate ambience, making it the perfect venue for a small group to rent for a special celebration, club event or even a business meeting. However, the hotel is equally suited to romantic couples and guests wishing to stay in unspoilt surroundings, relax in unperturbed peace and perhaps indulge in a few nature-based activities. Please note that, to maintain its air of tranquillity, Mandarin operates a no-children policy (with the exception of group bookings renting the hotel in its entirety). ...introducing one of Turkey's most exclusive retreats
This is a gem of a hotel, in the village of Faralya on the Babadag mountainside. Beautiful food, really perfectly sourced and presented. Excellent staff, so friendly and attentive to the right level without being intrusive. The owner is wonderful and super helpful with planning your stay, trips out, history of the area and guided walks of requested. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is idyllic with many places to relax.

We are a family run, relaxed hotel in a garden with parking in protected countryside above the legendary Butterfly Valley in Faralya. We have 10 ensuite rooms, one apart house and one interconnected room– some traditional timber chalets around our swimming pool and a few more stone built in the olive groves. They are modern with wifi access and air conditioning…In summer our dining room is outside on our terrace. We make as much use as possible of our own and local produce to create five course dinners. In winter, spring and autumn we are equipped for walkers who want to trek the famous Lycian Way and admire the wildlife – eagles, storks, even dragonflies and of course butterflies and wonderful fauna. In summer you can just laze around our pool or visit one of the five spectacular beaches nearby or go shopping in Fethiye. Our sunsets are spectacular. And being higher up the air is cooler than in the bottom of the valley where temperatures will be well over 30 degrees. We can also arrange boat trips and other excursions if you want to explore this historic and undiscovered part of the world. Some people call it paradise. Well, we like it anyway...Visit us and it will be our pleasure to show you why.
What a lovely place to stay. Amazing views, incredibly helpful owner and lovely relaxed atmosphere. One of our favourite places to stay while walking the Lycian Way! Cannot recommend it enough if you would like a relaxed friendly atmosphere with stunning views!

I live in the area and have visited this hotel a couple of times on a visitors day rate , which I will add has gone up twice this season ..Last year 150 TLR it’s now 350 TLR. Looking forward to spending a relaxing day with lovely food.. How wrong was I … Come lunchtime we headed into the restaurant and ordered lunch. I have a very serious allergy to pepper of any sort and chilly in any form. The waiter understood and the chief even came out to check what I ordered would be ok for me..perfect …Enjoyed lunch and the afternoon.. Come the evening was a different matter.. The same waiter (very kind helpful man) .. I ordered rib of steak, making sure they waiter understood my request for no pepper of any kind or chilli.. My steak arrived and on inspection it was covered in cracked black !.. I called the waiter over who I explained again about the pepper ..He apologised and took the plate of food away only to represent it within minutes ..It was the same steak same plate! I refused it again and back it went …After a short while the same steak and the same plate but only with vegetables scraped off, my companion and I now referred to this as the boomerang steak. This time I refused and asked for the duty manager.. A young man appeared and I fired me he was the responsible adult in charge.I explained the whole situation to him He listened and apologised and said he would take the cost of the meal off the overall bill.. On asking for the bill for the day it was clear that the meal had not been removed from the days expenses as promised. At this point another person appeared wanting to know what the problem was and had I told the waiter I was allergic to such ingredients as if it was a whole new thing. Having explained to this individual the seriousness of my allergy and that I’m not in the habit of not telling people and that we had already spoken to somebody who had offered a refund on part of our days bill at which point this individual got a very animated and aggressive in tone refused to look at me but looked elsewhere and said that it was the policy never to give refunds. He then went on to say that he didn’t know who this person was who said we would have a refund so I said I understand I’m happy to accept a voucher at which point he said we don’t get vouchers either. He offered a glass of wine as compensation but as we were in credit by about £15 and frankly a cheap glass of wine does not cover it not only did I not get an evening meal but I was actually accused of lying which really didn’t sit well with me. The person concerned was not prepared to listen so we stated that we would leaving but we would mention on Facebook and on TripAdvisor appalling service and how they had endangered my life by not paying attention to my serious allergy. On leaving the restaurant to get a taxi back there was a gentleman who I don’t know who it was asked if there was a problem as I was talking to my companion about the disgraceful disrespectful attitude of this individual towards good customers. This gentleman had heard about the incident and wanted a brief discussion as to what had occurred in the process of telling this gentleman the other very so-called duty manager appeared in an aggressive tone raising his voice to me and talking over me whilst I was talking about my experience. I told him to stop as I was not talking to him I was talking to the other gentleman and in fact the other gentleman told him to be quiet at which point he said nobody tells him to be quiet. I explained the situation I said I didn’t appreciate being called a liar and I certainly didn’t appreciate being challenged my serious life-threatening condition. I informed both gentlemen of my intentions and I would advise everybody and anybody to stay clear of this establishment they will rip you off they have no respect for you your custom or welfare… This has been an appalling frightening experience never ever will I recommend anybody to visit this hotel…

We do free of charge service to nearby Aktas beach. And you can enter to the beach fee as well. Our hotel is off the Lycian road.
We totally enjoyed the location of this hotel. The drives around there are amazing. The manager of the hotel had a lot of fab information and was really willing to share. My main issue was with the rooms. In my mind if you call it a hotel they come into your room everyday and freshen things up. Replace the soaking bathmat and empty the trash. Well not this place. I don't need the whole "replace the towels and full clean" mode but a spruce up is the minimum if you call it a hotel. Half filled hotel shampoo and no soap for the shower. A nice cleaning of the grounds are needed as well. Pick up the blown in trash. Nice pool and lots of garden veggies growing all around.

Keyif Motel is sure to make your visit to Fethiye one worth remembering.
I booked a room for 700tl (70 EUR). When I arrived in the evening I was told that the room I booked is the last left and it was in the cellar below the kitchen (B2) with the windows opening to a trash place outside. It was old, dirty, smelly (from the kitchen) and noisy (noise from the kitchen and from the water sewage outside). The shower was very old and dirty. When I asked to changed the room as it’s outrageous for this price, I was told by the hotel manager that it was the room I booked! I come regularly to Turkey, stayed in a lot of hotels but for 70 EUR to have such a place which should be max 10 EUR! So I would recommend to avoid this place (though some rooms are supposedly nice but you never know what you will get).
