At the edge of the docks of Dunkirk, enjoy the residence All Suites Appart Hotel Dunkerque for your short and long stays, with many services: free wifi, gym and children's play area. Studio 1-2 pers. Following the 1-4 pers. staying in the heart of downtown.
Stayed for 4 nights at the start of a European holiday and this budget friendly choice met my needs. I like the apartment type hotel properties that seem to proliferate in France and this one was pretty much the same as a lot I have stayed in before. Room 401 from the floor plan in the room was the smallest room type they had and was big enough for my needs. The room was basically furnished and equipped but everything there worked and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. The property had parking in the basement but the ramp down to it was terrible with bump after bump as you drove down. The location of the property was nice overlooking the harbour which like a lot of cities and towns everywhere is undergoing a transformation and becoming more residential and commercial. Overall not a bad place for the price.

For a one night stay it was fine, clean with good shower and good breakfast. Free car park next to station which is ideal if travelling by train. Enjoyed walking though Dunkirk town with all its history. My only gripe was the lift was out of order some of the time and we were high up.

The room was very small and not so clean. One small bottle of shampoo and one handsoap were found as complimentary items in the bathroom. There is no control of the heating in the room and to be honest it was cold. I am not sure this hotel can be considered as three star. The only positive thing I found is that it is very close to the city center.

Very close to the centre of town, the harbour, the beach of the north, the dune of Flanders, the casino, the Kursaal convention centre and sporting facilities (including a swimming pool and bowling). Ibis Dunkirk Centre is a reception 24/7 & a restaurant with the possibility to eat at any time of the day. The rooms are also well equiped with private bathroom, free wifi and can accomodate 2 to 4 people in the room. Ideally located, we are near the Channel crossing to reach England (UK), Belgium and France. Enjoy your stay.
I have stayed here 3 times now whilst working at Dunkerque port. The staff are always very friendly, polite and helpful. They try to communicate as best they can as I have limited French vocabulary. They have a lovely new receptionist, Fadwa, who speaks English very well. I would highly recommend this hotel when visiting Dunkirk for business or a short sightseeing trip.

From our experience this is a real mixed review as the room itself was small and the wardrobe had no coat hangers in it, so would give it a 3 overall. However, the restaurant food was absolutely outstanding, we had dinner and two breakfasts here (would have had 2 dinners if they had been open on Sunday evenings!) and the experience of dining felt fantastic, the quality of food and especially the presentation of breakfast was just great, so restaurant would be a 5!

Tourism Hotel 1 * located less than 100m from the beach of Malo-les-Bains with 12 rooms of which 6 with balcony. Near the pool, ice rink, Kursaal,Casino and Bowling.
This hotel is located near the beach of Dunkirk, our balcony had a partial beach view with table and chairs to sit on. We were located on the second floor, there is no elevator, however the stairs are wide, with motion sensor lighting. The room was clean, but nothing special. the bathroom was small, but had everything you need. There is no kettle in the room, but coffee and tea are available downstairs in the restaurant / bar area, where they serve a paid breakfast. Parking is free and available a short distance from the hotel.

L'Escale malouine is located at about 350m from the Beach, the swimming pool and the kursaal. Each bedroom has got an own private bathroom (with shower and toilets).
We booked the entire house for the weekend (11 persons). The house seemed almost spotless, was really tidy and was spaceous enough as well. The lady of the house was kind and welcoming. The rooms are big, tidy and each has its own bathroom which was great if you are a group of 11. Each had a TV as well. Also, the rooms could be made dark almost completely with the shutters and the bed we had was truly comfy, felt fresh and smelled nice. So I had 2 great nights of sleep. If you book the entire house, it really comes with all you might need: fridge, dish washers, washing machines and enough cutlery, plates and so on. There's Wi-Fi in the entire house. For our annual family weekend it was a really pleasant stay; we had a great time.

This hotel is in a great location by the harbour and very close to the centre. I have stayed there on several occasions because of the ideal location. Unfortunately, the hosts are often absent so the room key is obtained through a key collection system on site. This sometimes does not work, so it will necessitate a call to the host. This means also that there is no one to help with any luggage and there is no lift so I would not recommend for anyone who is disabled or has back problems. Meals are pretty much as described in the menu and there are no extras such as vegetables or salad served with the main course. The restaurant is closed on Sundays and opens for evening meals on Thursday, Friday, Saturday only. The host is generally less than welcoming.
