We spent a lovely weekend with our family at The Murraypark. Was lovely to receive a warm welcome from Tomasz and we were delighted with our rooms. So handy to have a fridge in the room and the complimentary cookies were lovely. Our dog was delighted with her doggy welcome bag and comfy little bed! There were six of us and a four year old and we had dinner in the hotel both nights. Food was fantastic and my husband said his steak was heavenly! I had the vegan option which was great too. Can’t fault this hotel, friendly and welcoming and I always recommend it to friends visiting Crieff. Thanks to Alicja, Lynne and all the staff for giving us another memorable stay!

Arguably the most comprehensive family resort in Scotland, 4 star Crieff Hydro is centrally located in its own 900 acre estate with an unrivaled range of leisure pursuits for all ages. Choose from over 40 on-site leisure activities and take advantage of inclusive daily childcare for 2-12 year olds in the 700m2 kids club. Extensively redeveloped from top to bottom, Crieff Hydro is only an hours drive from both Glasgow and Edinburgh.
We stayed here for 2 nights - myself, my partner, our young baby and our 3.5 year old - and we had the best time. We stayed in a family room in the main hotel that had a separate space for bunk beds which our 3 year old loved. There were so many activities. The massive play area with the fort, bouncy pillows, maze and crazy golf was fab. It’s a bit of a walk but an easy walk and buggy friendly. The food in the Italian restaurant that we ate in both nights was great, the kids menu was a wee bit limited though. The breakfast buffet had a huge selection. Check out was at 11am so it wasn’t too much of a rush to get out. The staff were all really friendly and attentive. The whole stay was summaries by our 3 year old who said “I just loved all of it”

Gastro pub with apartments situated above. A newly refurbished lounge and bar give the perfect setting to a weekend getaway, with locals at the ready for a chat and a beer garden with play area for children and dogs.
Popped in for a quick drink and bite to eat at 4.30 in the afternoon. The staff were very welcoming and immediately brought a drink and biscuit for the dog and settled us into a table in the dog friendly ( and really well decorated)bar area. The young lady who served us was very chatty and cheerful and this was really a great start to the meal. The food was hot and tasty and served very quickly. The bar staff had good local knowledge and directed us to a local shop. All in all a very enjoyable visit.

The Highlandman Station is a beautiful Scottish gem tucked away just outside the centre of Crieff. The setting is idyllic and quiet, perfect for a break from all the business of life. It's also close to the Drummond Castle & Gardens which are absolutely a must-see! The property is very well maintained and our room was spotless and bright. The host is also extremely accomodating, friendly, and a great cook if I may say! Breakfast was delightful. Also, the bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in so you get extra points for that, even though I can't put more :) The only downside is that the walls appear to be very thin, sadly this meant that we could hear practically all of the other couple's conversation, music and general noise. But, I have a good sense of drowning these things out so it wasn't difficult to ignore.
