We only came there for lunch after busting Coba. The hotel looks beautiful, very nice shop and perfumes as well. The restaurant staff is very friendly however the food is not at the level of the hotel in our opinion but great experience overall. Worth it for a quick lunch with air conditioning.

Hotel Hacienda Coba, arises to please travelers who want to take time to rest and relax in comfortable and finely decorated rooms. We have an infrastructure in colonial style in a modern and high standard building to offer the charm of the typical colonial houses with modern conveniences, coupling into a single figure. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the design and the materials from which it was built are designed to give harmony and relaxation, with all necessary services for total satisfaction.
This was the third time that I stayed at Hacienda Coba, and I am happy report that things just continue to get better! We did rent all the rooms in the hotel for our small group and the managers were willing to serve us breakfast an hour earlier than their normal time! This was super helpful for us and beyond the call of duty. I look forward to going back to Hacienda Coba again next year, it is a wonderful hotel.

Staying in Aldea Coba an Escape Resort, allows you to discover the true experience of disconnection from everyday life in an environment of moderate luxury, where you will find the history, the cultural richness of the Mayan World and the natural elements of the jungle.
We spent two nights here with our kids. We had a two queen villa that had its own plunge pool. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was so beautiful with a huge walk in shower that the kids turned into their own slip and slide. The resort is quiet. There are only 5-6 villas, and they weren't all occupied. Most guests only stay for a night or two as the area isn't developed for tourists (a good thing, but it makes for few dining options in the area). There's a large central pool, and but there isn't much "to do" at the resort other than eat and drink and lounge. You can borrow bicycles to visit the local cenotes or the small town and Coba ruins, or you can walk the mile into town, but that's about it for entertainment. I think we would have enjoyed this place pre-kids, but with young kids, they wanted more stuff to do. The quality of the food at the resort is good. Breakfasts are simple but tasty and included in the price of the room. Lunch and dinner are excellent, but they are pricier than similar meals in town. We really enjoyed the guacamole as well as the Maya chocolate service for dessert. If you don't plan on driving, I believe the hotel is the best resource for transportation. We paid an airport taxi $200 to take us to Aldea Coba, but the resort arranged for a (much nicer) shuttle from Coba to Playa Mujeres for about $120.

Hotel Maya belonging to family, community Coba. Which aims to offer the best service, combining quality and Maya culture by highlighting its essence.
We stayed here so that we could get to Coba the minute it opened, and that worked perfectly. We were literally the first people in the park, and I was the 3rd person to climb the large pyramid that day. The hotel/store/restaurant complex of Sacbe is quite amazing. The hotel was basic, but clean; the restaurant, open for breakfast and lunch only, served the BEST Cappuccino I have ever had, along with a lovely breakfast after our visit to the ruins (which are less than a mile down the road), and the store seems to be where anyone and everyone shops - from school kids buying candy and snacks to mothers buying tortillas for lunch. I believe the restaurant just down the road, Chile Piquant (I think), is also part of this family's domaine. They recommended it, and it was quite good. We would definitely recommend the Hotel Sac-be.

Kaab Coba is designed for the traveler looking for a cultural retreat within the jungle nature with archaeological evidence full of history that still lives in the heart of the Mayan Culture. Coba is an archaeological site of the pre-Columbian Mayan culture, already located within the central Mayan area of the peninsula.

stayed here one night before visiting Coba. Receptionist spoke excellent English and gave us good advise re visiting the ruins and local cenotes. Rooms were comfortable , on site restaurant was good. Walkable to the ruins . As noted in the reviews there was cockerel and dog noise in the night but you are staying rural .

Absolutely outstanding service and hospitality. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. A tiny example: they quietly celebrated one of the host's birthday in the kitchen but still shared slices of the birthday cake with us and other guests. For a nice chat and a small fee (much lower than the local taxis) they drove us to Valladolid. The food was delicious and the milkshakes incredible. Thank you Alfredo, Pepe and Hector! P.S.: The jungle can be noisy during the night but it seems insignificant compared to the rest of the relaxed stay.

Tak strašně místo už nikdy nenavštívim. Velké množství psů, exteriér vypadal děsivě. Raději jsme utekli a nechali Booking.com propadnout ... prostě fuj. Neumím si představit jaká mohla být snídaně. Příjezdová komunikace tragická.
