A lovely hotel
Reviewed By The_ChilihouseWe arrived to a very warm and friendly welcome, greeted by a member of staff who spoke excellent English. She showed us to our room, which was also a nice touch. Shortly afterwards we discovered that our lovely room (and equally lovely bathroom) had only been made up for one person - after telephoning reception the aforementioned member of staff was soon back in our room, very apologetic, rectifying this - good service once a problem was identified. The free WiFi was very good. We had wanted to eat in the restaurant here, but as this was fully booked we headed off for the short walk into town, where there are lots of restaurants. The breakfast buffet was excellent - good quality and an extensive choice of food. All in all a lovely hotel.

Great location, nice rooms. Too many sweets available.
Reviewed By Blue BThe hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance of the shopping street and the train station, as well as the swimming pool and Museumsdorf. The rooms are nice and clean and spacious. The breakfast is good, but I think there are too many sweet available. There were 5 types of sweets on the reception counter, this is too much. Children are immediately tempted and can help themselves. The same for breakfast, there were a lot of actual chocolate or sweets available. It is difficult to stop children taking this stuff. We should all be trying to eat healthily and this dies not help. One variety is fine, I felt there was an excess of sweets here. Aside from that, the hotel is a good choice.

Reviewed By debbieb925We booked here through Booking.com. Staff were welcoming and spoke passable English. We checked into our very clean, modern room. The beds were comfortable and the room had tea and coffee facilities, no milk but that’s an English thing. We decided to eat at the hotel. We entered into the bar, which still allows smoking but went through to the adjoining restaurant. My husband can recommend the schnitzel. A nice hotel with a mix of modern rooms and traditional dining area and bar.

Good location and food
Reviewed By blackhorsestablesiWe have stayed for a few nights. The hotel is located in the center of the city and has a parking in the back yard. The room was clean and nice decorated, with a hudge TV. In the mornings a little bit noisy becouse of the trafick. On the first floor they have a restaurant and offers very good food!

Reviewed By hpi367A small hotel with very cozy and nicely designed and decorated, silent rooms. TV set works, and you do not need to reprogramme it every time you switch it on. No English channels however. WiFi is super fast and free of charge. Host ladies are very kind. The reception is occupied only in the morning. If you arrive another time, better to make an arrangement before. The breakfast is also very good. The hotel is not far from city centre, where there are restaurants (Italian, Chinese).

Reviewed By eknataWir waren für zwei Nächte hier. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, gut überlegt die kleinen Lampen gestellt. Einfach was zum wohlfühlen. Auch das Frühstück haben wir sehr individuell in einem tollen Ambiente eingenommen. Netter Plausch mit dem Hausherren inklusive. In der Nähe befindet sich fussläufig ein mediterranes Restaurant, das vom Essen her auch empfehlenswert ist. Sollte es uns wieder nach Cloppenburg verschlagen, werden wir sicher wieder in dieser schönen Pension einchecken!

Reviewed By testssonWe booked this hotel because of the price and reviews on other sites. At first it did not look much, check in at a service/gas station. But the room was really nice and tidy. It felt very new. All the rooms are in the second floor. The room had good working air condition, tv and safe. No minibar or kettle. The bed is a bit smaller double bed, 160cm at max. The breakfast is served in the diner on the entrence floor. The breakfast was really nice and fresh

Prettig en zeer verzorgt rustpunt
Reviewed By Wim vHeel erg netjes en verzorgt. Zeer grote kamer en top kwaliteit badkamer. Super vriendelijk ontvangst met uitgebreide uitleg, ook over de omgeving, restaurants en een goede plek voor een super ontbijt want dat zit er niet bij maar dat is zeker geen probleem want 3 minutjes ervan daan zit een prima bakertje waar ze een top ontbijt serveren.
