Hotel Port Ciutadella is well connected, just a few minutes from the commercial port of Ciutadella and one hour from the airport. It is a modern and elegant hotel, and is tastefully decorated. It offers comfort and well-being in a quiet and relaxing environment. It has 94 confortable rooms. Reviewed By Archie CI can only totally concur with the previous reviews, fabulous hotel, excellent position, great views (see below), first class staff and great food with plenty of choice, including Bucks Fizz for breakfast. The bath is very slippy but we asked for a mat and got one withing minutes. Similarly, the kettle did not work and was handed a brand new one in minutes, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Excellent bus service nearby for a trip to Cala n Bosch Marina. We never had a problem getting a sunbed but this did not stop some people (British) putting their towels out in the second week. A couple of niggles, though. We arrived on 7 May for 2 weeks and was given a cr*ppy room at the back, overlooking the road. I did request a move to a more scenic room but was asked for 30 Euros A DAY for this. The room never got any sunshine and for the first week was very cold indeed. We had to ask for extra blankets it was so cold and spent a lot of time in the room under the sheets to keep warm. We spoke to other Jet2 customers who were there for only a week and they had views over the estuary, why was ours so bad. I would have thought a 2 weeker would be given rooms at the front. The shower was abysmal. There is only 1 lever adjusting temperature and flow. You could either have a cold shower with plenty of gusto or a warm (not hot) shower that was just a dribble. There is a dress code in the restaurant asking men to wear long trousers. I have absolutely no problem with this, in fact it makes the restaurant a dining experience. If this is the case, why were men allowed into the restaurant in cycling gear (shorts) and beach wear trunks ???? Makes a total mockery of the rule. As I say, these were niggles and did not drastically affect the holiday which we enjoyed immensely.

Reviewed By chutch180004A wonderful place to relax, beautiful property and gardens in the heart of the city. Comfortable and spacious room. Service at times was slower than it should have been in the hotel. Our visit to the country club was a highlight.

Reviewed By Camper66228216113The staff and especially the manager Josue, were very helpful and made our stay a great one. Can't praise enough the excellent selection and quality of the food served in the buffet restaurant. Swimming pool and sunbed area was spotless. Although the hotel is out of town it is only 12 min walk to find bars and shops, the bus stop is there with a good service for getting out an about, the nearest supermarket is only just up the road. We are both looking forward to returning next year.

Reviewed By Connector62829497610Lovely country hotel but within a short drive to Ciutadella. Lovely staff, breakfast and swimming. Big plus is the tennis court and the hotel organised a coach for us. Can’t Not mention the resident peacock who kept us company in the shaded area for breakfast next to the pool.

Friendly and terrific hotel
Reviewed By GunnerSurreyWe’re spending 3 nights here & decided to book a suite so as to have a balcony to chill out at the end of a day. We were allocated Suite Mallorca & are very happy. You can feel that it has been recently refurbished. It is light and airy with a comfy king size bed, sofa, fridge, Krups coffee maker & safe. The bathroom is plenty spacious enough with a terrific shower, separate bath & fluffy towels. There are various vanity items if needed. If I could make one small suggestion, a couple of robes would be a great addition to the suites for relaxing in the room. The large balcony has a washing line, a pair of sun loungers & a couple of chairs with table & large parasol. At this time of year it’s a bit hot to sit on the balcony during the day, but get to 5ish onwards & the air is beautiful, with a very distant view down the end of the road of the sea. No more than 50 metres away is a small supermarket which is ideal for picking up bits for lunch if you fancy a change from eating in one Ciutadella’s plentiful nearby cafés or bars. What really stands out at the hotel is the warm friendly welcome you receive from any of the staff. On arrival we were given a relaxed guide regarding the hotel’s facilities & also of Ciutadella and it’s surrounds. I am Celiac & therefore need a gluten-free diet. The ladies in the breakfast room have been so helpful advising my options & checking ingredients, they are brilliant. The entire hotel is spotless & the swimming pool & mini-gym are great. All in all if you are planning a visit to gorgeous Ciutadella I strongly recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By Lisa HWe had a 5 day break at this lovely hotel. What a fabulous location, right on the beach, it was wonderful. We had a perfect sea view and could hear the waves - and the ducks (yes there's ducks in the sea) from our bed!! The staff were great, did their best to help with any requests we had - kettle, cups & saucers. The breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice - cereals, bread for toast, pastries, fruit, meats, cheeses, bacon, eggs, fresh juices & coffee etc., and the breakfast room looks over the beach too. The room was perfectly adequate, though perhaps could have done with a bit more storage. The bathroom was great - fab shower. Balcony was a good size with a small table & chairs. We ate at the restaurant Es Bruc once and it was ok. Not a massive menu but the food was nice enough. The location was good - plenty of places to walk close byand the bus stop just up the road for the bus to Ciutadella or to Cala Blanca. There's a commercial centre about 15 minutes walk away that has a supermarket, gift shop and several restaurants. Special thanks to Tony who was really helpful, and also the man who was on reception as we were leaving (sorry didn't get his name). Would definitely love to come back.

Reviewed By sataymanWe so enjoyed our 2 brief stays here. The most helpful of staff - which you realise the moment you meet David on reception. The whole team were so friendly. Lovely food, mostly locally sourced. Lovely dining area with views over to Mallorca in one direction and beautiful countryside in the other. Lovely rooms with a rural feel as the hotel's name would suggest - yet all the modern comforts including good wifi and USB sockets by the bedside. We'll be back!

Reviewed By Dean TThree days with Oscar and the staff at Son Juaneda is one of the most peaceful gifts you can give yourself. On arrival we were told we were the first Canadian guests at the hotel, so we set about making sure we set a good standard for others from northern climes to follow. Check in. Quick, with a helpful tour of the property. Meals. Variety and ease of seating and good drink selection. Pool. Uncrowded and wonderful background sounds of the waterfall. Best part? Ease of access to Ciutadella and surrounding area, cleanliness, and room 20 with it’s great deck and lounging area. Yes, a three star, but an exceptional value as well. We hope this hotel continues to prosper in a post-pandemic world. They are a jewel in a beautiful place.

First time to Menorca
Reviewed By RonfromthesunWas our first time to these apartments. We asked for ground floor near children’s pool which we got. Lovely big apart with everything you need. There were only a few people there cos of Covid but everywhere was safe and very clean. Cleaners came every two days and changed towels and cleaned. Pool man/gardener was there everyday hosing grounds and cleaning the pools. Receptionist very helpful. Large supermarket opposite.
