This is what a quality hotel should feel like! We are still here but I'm writing this while I think about it. From the moment we checked in, the staff were courteous friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Graciana, Candice and Vishnal particularly but the sommelier was also great. ( We didn't know the names of others but EVERYONE is super friendly and helpful. We stayed in a privilege room, ground floor with a bath, separate walk in shower and separate toilet. The bed is 2m across which suits us , and outside is a courtyard area to service the rooms in the annexe. We had pre dinner drinks in the MAIN courtyard in delightful 24 degree early evening sun, and then had the gastronomic menu in the main restaurant. We may never eat again! We are so full but in addition to the 6 listed courses, there were amuse bouches, between courses soup, pre dessert dessert and as many hVe mentioned, the infamous drunken cherries that go with the coffee etc... other reviewers have forgotten to mention the mii florentines, mango jellies, nougat and chocolate truffles that also can accompany that! The food was magnificent, the service impeccable and the rooms are stunning. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! And when we staggered back to the room, we found biscuits and chocolate waiting for us too! I think they will keep until tomorrow! Just superb stay. Well done to everyone who works there- you made our night!

Located in the main street of the village, 300m far from the famous Château de Chenonceau and from the restaurants. "La Maison de Famille", built in 1870, is surrounded by a lovely old garden of 4500m2 (1.1 acre) with a bucolic charm. We offer 3 cosy rooms (queen size bed or 2 single beds), with shower. Breakfast (included for direct reservations) comes with a choice of breads, croissant, freshly squeezed orange juice, cheese and yoghurt, home made jams and locally made honey. Upon your arrival, you will enjoy a "welcome" tea in the lounge by the fireplace or under a sun umbrella ... See you soon !
The hosts, home and gardens are wonderful. Very friendly, engaging and speaks English. She lit a fire for us in the living room fireplace, providing wine glasses and privacy. Nice, home-made breakfast and conversation with hostess and one other guest couple. Can't wait to go back!

La Roseraie, this authentic 18th century hotel, located a few minutes from Chenonceau Castle. To assure you a most restful stay our rooms are individually decorated to provide the perfect mix of traditional country charm and contemporary comfort. Air conditioning, non-smoking, swimming pool (season), garden, terrace and privat car parking. Sabine and Thierry will be very pleased to welcome you and assist you to discover the Loire Valley.
Hosts Antonella and Lionel are so helpful and friendly. French hospitality at its best! The hotel is absolutely charming; rooms are all different, rose gardens are lush (and in full bloom during our stay) with plenty of cozy seating in the gardens. Pool is so inviting on a warm day. And the location is just perfect - a two minute walk to the stunning Chenonceaux Château. My group of seven American ladies and our Croatian bus driver were sad to leave after our three day stay. We will be back,

We had a fantastic time with Patricia at Le Clos Mony. Even though she only spoke French (and we barely speak any!) we managed perfectly fine. Patricia even came to the train station to pick up our heavy luggage, after we corresponded via email. The breakfast each morning was delicious and we really enjoyed having a glass of rosè in the sun in the garden in the evening. Definitely stay here if you want an authentic French experience! We loved it.

The 20 Rooms in our Hotel Le Relais de Chenonceaux are rustic, personalized and full of charm. In the attic rooms, the visible wooden beams recall the building history. All our rooms are equipped with recent and comfortable bedding which encourage rest and relaxation. All the rooms have an en-suite bathroom with sink, toilets and shower or bathtub, towels and hairdryer (on demand in some rooms). The equipments in the rooms are: bed with duvet, 2 pillows per person, an extra blanket, a desk, a free WIFI connection, Flat screen TV with free channels from TNT.
Small but very nice room, horrid extremely inconvenient, considering the location of the joke of the wardrobe, anti-thief hangers (disgusting thing in general), very dark bathroom. Perfect location. No elevator. Horrible internet.

One of the best things about Le Roi Coq is the hospitality of the owners, Isabelle and Patrick. They are very kind and generous. The accommodation is very good value and it is brilliant having a pool and a sweet garden after all the sightseeing in the Chenonceaux area. Very highly recommended.

Hostellerie de la Renaudiere puts the best of Chenonceaux at your fingertips, making your stay both relaxing and enjoyable.
Madame who greeted us was very chic and friendly. The hotel is what we expected in that gloriously faded French way and is well placed to visit Chenonceau chateau and others in the region. It was easy to find and had free parking on site. Our room in the attic (2nd floor) was a bit of a climb with bags but very comfortable although extremely hot - thank goodness there was a fan or we would have expired in the night! Breakfast was generous and the above-ground pool very welcome after driving all day (wooden steps and surround need a little TLC). We would definitely go back.

Family hotel, center on the Chenonceaux Town. French & local restaurant private parking : free pet : free
I was on a bike tour with G Adventures and the guide kept saying this "hotel" was "rustic." Rustic doesn't come near to the truth, which is that this "hostel" was a DUMP! Filthy ad sub-standard. It didn't help that the owner, a big fat woman who should not wear horizontal stripes, was so unaccommodating, rude and unprofessional that I was counting the minutes until we checked out. Where to begin? The room was FILTHY! I didn't want to take my shoes off. The room was hot and when I asked for a fan she looked at me like I had horns growing out of my head. the bathroom was BEYOND DIRTY! The towels, which apparently were air dried, were GREY with age and "CRUSTY." The toilet had poo stains in it (trust me, the stains were not "rust," but rather POOP). The "French tub/shower" was FILTHY as well. And let me tell you about dinner. OH MY GOD! I paid 20 Euro for HORRIBLE service and food that was barely edible. When I went to pay, the owner said I would have to wait to pay with the group. I explained that I was sick and needed to go to bed and she actually yelled at me and told me she would not take my money until the rest of the group paid. It should be noted that there were 10 people in the group and that dinner took 2-½ hours to serve. The service was horrific and the food DISGUSTING.
