As host of the first Winter Olympics in 1924, Chamonix will always have a place in the history books. Its main attractions are Mont-Blanc (Western Europe's tallest mountain) and the many ski areas that face the Chamonix Valley. Steep slopes and extreme weather conditions suit advanced skiers best, but there are also runs for beginners. Just make sure everyone in your party knows a green circle from a black diamond. Oh, and another note for the history books—Pierce Brosnan was here (filming a James Bond movie, The World Is Not Enough).

Ideally located 4 minutes from Chamonix at Les Houches, the hotel breaks the conventions of traditional hotel business: 148 guest rooms for 2 to 12 people, seminar rooms, restaurants, games... The RockyPop fosters the "joy of togetherness" at amazingly low prices. With its relaxed and fun atmosphere, the RockyPop hotel is the ideal place for families, couples, friends and business travellers.
Staff here really are going through the motions. Maybe they're looking forward to the end of the season but they could not have cared less. The hotel side was OK although the staff were very uninterested in us. The restaurant however, oh my goodness! The staff were rude, disinterested and completely unprofessional. The food was even worse as it was barely edible and was cold and stale. This place needs to be avoided.

Located a 6-minute walk from the Aiguille du Midi ski lift in Chamonix, Le Prieuré offers accommodation with ski equipment hire on site. It has south-facing rooms, some of them facing Mont Blanc. All the rooms at Le Prieuré have a typical chalet-style decor and feature flat-screen satellite TV and a bathtub. You can relax on your balcony and enjoy a view of Mont Blanc or Aiguille Verte. The buffet breakfast is served in one of the 2 onsite restaurants, Le Rotissier, which overlooks Mont Blanc. Le Prieuré also provides a bar with a piano and a fireplace. This property is just 150 m from the bus stop that leads to the Brevent Cable Car. From here guests can access the Flégères slopes, Les Grands Montets slopes and les Houches slopes. It benefits from a private indoor car park but the number of places is limited.
This hotel has exceptional staff which is so important these days, I was met on my arrival with the warmest of smiles and assistance. The dining area is lovely for breakfast and dinner and the food is very good indeed, and amazing selection. at breakfast. There is a welcoming lounge area, a snooker table and also an outside area to relax and take in the beautiful views of Mount Blanc which can be seen from most of the bedrooms. The bedroom was clean and has a small balcony with chairs and the beds are very comfortable, I slept very well. I have no complaints about this hotel. I would definitely come back

The hotel is located right next to the cable car to the Aiguille du Midi, a 2-minute walk from the center of Chamonix. The hotel staff provides excellent service. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the shower is pleasant and everything is well designed. Breakfast was very good. There is a small gym open 24 hours a day. The spa area was pleasant but was crowded, the water in the pool was a bit cold for my taste. The hotel offers small treats such as hot and cold drinks throughout the day, free fruit, small sweets, popcorn - all the things that make the place fun. Definitely recommend

Le Refuge des Aiglons with its 107 rooms attracts mountain-lovers and families, both in the summer and winter and a clientele more studious during the mid-season thanks to its spacious seminars rooms. As well as the restaurant and the bar, the hotel offers the services of a genuine mountain SPA, outside swimming pool, steam room and sauna in the garden of the hotel, body care centre and fitness area.
Such a lovely stay! The staff we all so friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the spa, games in the bar, and outside area when the sun shone. Had an amazing burger in the restaurant and the breakfast selection was good. Great location, right by the airport bus transfers and a short walk to the bars/restaurants and tourist attractions. Loved the decor. Room was comfortable and spotless, though we couldn’t have our window open because of road noise and the room was quite hot but the hotel gave us a fan which helped. No ventilation in the bathroom/toilet could be a problem for some but we coped! Would definitely recommend!

“La Folie Douce Hotels Chamonix” is a fully renovated property in Chamonix city center, the only hotel ski-in sky-out downtown. We’re lot more than a hotel: “The place to be” for skiing, partying and building up strong memories with your crew.
It’s 1:20am and a party with loud music is still going on. We have had no sleep! When we called the front desk we were told a private party booked a room above us and are allowed to play their loud dance music until 2;00am and there was nothing they could do about it! I would highly recommend NOT staying in this hote if you plan to sleep.

Our charming luxury hotel in Argentiere, at the top end of the Chamonix valley, is an enchanting place facing Mont-Blanc. It's only a few steps away from the famous Grands-Montets ski resort, as well as from some of the most beautiful Summer hiking paths. Whether you are visiting Chamonix for the first time or you have stayed with us before, we will do our very best to provide an impeccable service and ensure you have a fabulous stay in a warm and relaxing atmosphere in a 4 stars hotel in Chamonix.
We had a fabulous return visit after a two year delay due to the pandemic. This is a lovely hotel and is brilliantly located near the Grands Montets ski lift station. We had a Mountain Spirit room that was absolutely lovely. The most outstanding feature of our visit was the helpfulness of the lovely people on reception. They arranged our lift passes and made all of our dinner reservations and nothing was too much trouble.

This former alpine farm, typical of the region, has been transformed into a luxurious chalet hotel. As well as ensuring a friendly and authentic atmosphere, we took great care to make sure all aspects of the hotel's renovation were also eco-friendly.Our family-run chalet hotel in Chamonix prides itself on the quality of the facilities on offer - every room at L'Auberge du Manoir is unique. From double rooms for romantic getaways to junior suites for family holidays, we have rooms to suit all tastes and requirements.
If you are heading for Chamonix, you will not find a better place than the Auberge du Manoir. Superb rooms, staff and the jacuzzi under the mountains is something special. Shops , restaurants and attractions extremely close by . My favourite within the valley.
