This hotel is expensive and filthy. The single room is dirty , the bed was literally falling apart. There are noises coming from everywhere during the night. I literally slept 2 hours and woke up with a headache. The receptionists are not kind and they treat you very bad, almost like you annoy them with your presence. Especially the elderly receptionist .I mean I would have never put my foot in that hotel if I have known how it ready is . Avoid !!!

Nice hotel located right in the city center close to shopping, sights and international congress and trade fair centre Paviljonki. The hotel is easily reachable from all parts of Finland and has over 100 parking places.
Room size is good. Room Service is very poor. The pillows, blankets and sheets are only sloppily prepared. Hand- and bath towels are simply left on the washbasin - so the washbasin remains uncleaned. I a real 4 Star hotel those are least folded and hung up. I was also disappointed with the breakfast. Even a 3 star hotel usually offers hot smoked fish (salmon) in the morning. There was no sign of that on Sunday either. Conclusion: The rating of 4 stars is far exaggerated. The hotel is overpriced for the service offered. Too bad, because Scandic actually has resp had a good reputation.

Supper is also available from Monday to Thursday as an added service for 13,50€ to our hotel customers. At Hotel Verso's supper you will be served with a dish made of the seasons freshest ingredients, straight from the open kitchen. The dish, cooked to order, is always fresh, tasty, hot and cooked to perfection. The menu changes daily, and supper always includes green salad and fresh, homemade house bread, made on the same day by Verso's own baker.
The Verso does not seem to come up early in TripAd or Booking.com search lists, which is a pity. It's a very good hotel, providing great value, wonderful breakfasts, friendly staff and all you might need. On a pedestrian street, a five minute walk from the station. Jyväskylä is a very pleasant town, well worth a visit.

Solo Sokos Hotel Paviljonki provides fantastic facilities not only for busy business travellers but also for leisurely holidaymakers. Just a few minutes’ walk away is the Jyvaskyla Travel Centre where buses, trains and the airport bus arrive. The car park building in conjunction with the hotel has plenty of parking space too. In addition, excellent walks to the pedestrian/cycle path which circles Lake Jyvasjarvi and to Jyvaskyla’s harbour start straight from the hotel.
Sokos Paviljonki has worked best for me on business trips. Lots of parking nearby, good and friendly service at the reception always by such beautiful young women, spacious and modern rooms, a good sauna on the top floor with great views and serving. The breakfast and restaurant are also excellent. Paviljonki has become a regular place in Jyväskylä, a bit like coming to another home.

I stayed for 2 nights with my 22y daughter. So somehow friends trip. The receptionist was pleasant, we were given full instructions about the hotel clearly which was nice as we had no more questions after that. The room was clean. I did not like the high step to the toilet as I suffer from pain in my joints and it’s difficult to climb such a step if woken in the middle of the night or early in the morning. Another thing that bothered me were the 80cm beds. They were too small. I mean if you are a person that moves a little in their sleep you might fall off the bed. I loved the big window that lessened the need to turn lights on. Each floor seems to have a small kitchenette where is a microwave, cutlery, bowls and plates to use if needed. Also there was a fidget with small container with locks (1 container to each room) to put items in if bought for the shop. The floor also had a washing room with machine, dryer and iron. Also each floor had toys for kids to borrow and play, which I thought was a wonderful thing. Coffee and tea are available for guest for free all working hours of the reception. I thought that was so nice because I can’t eat in the mornings but having a cup of coffee is my morning pleasure. We faced two days of rain and the reception provided an umbrella to borrow. And I heard they also allow guests to borrow bicycles for free in summer times. Truly lovely and worth the price.

Luksushostelleissa on siivoojat. Tiedän, kun olen ollut aidoissa luksushostelleissa mm Portugalissa.

I thought wifi wasn't working and went to mcdonald's across the street with my laptop. Eventually I was told to open the hostel's official site, and indeed it helped (I even checked when I was still at the mcdonald's and managed to connect from there). During my stay this happened several times but now I knew what to do. I was alone in a basic double room, this was fine for me. Way too small for two people, especially if you want to use a laptop.

Hotel in suburban area catering to tourists & conventions; 4 km to town & railway station; 18 km to JYV airport.
Unfortunately the hotel had so poor air quality that I was not able to sleep well. I woke up in the middle of the night and had trouble breathing. Breakfast was good though and the hotel is located in a very beautiful area close to many outdoor activities.
