The bustling port city of Castries is St. Lucia's capital. Shoppers flock to the city's dozens of stores and to Castries Market for fruits, vegetables and handicrafts. Sightseers admire murals painted by a local artist inside Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, and relax in Derek Walcott Square, named for the St. Lucian Nobel-prize-winning poet. Atop Morne Fortune (Hill of Good Luck) - where the French and English battled over control of the island - visitors take in panoramic vistas.

Thank you Stephanie! She did a wonderful job with my massage and pedicure, and I left feeling like new. The facilities are also luxurious, clean and relaxing. I will definitely be coming back for my facial.

An intimate, boutique, beachfront hotel featuring deluxe fully self-contained one and two bedrooms villa suites nestled among the coconut trees and lush tropical gardens at Choc Bay with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and offering comfortable, casual luxury with friendly, impeccable service.
If your are service professionals, like ourselves, and you go on a holiday, you want to receive service on the same par, or even higher. We where visiting our family on the island. I visit Saint Lucia sinds the 1980’S, and this is the first time we have a stay here. We needed a second home to that of our family on the island. Villa Beach Cottages was near, and had a perfect price to quality ratio. After meticulous studies online, we found our second home on Saint Lucia. A few previous guest, that expected a extreme high level of service, had unrealistic expectations. They do not understand that, other cultures give hospitality in a different way. Villa Beach Cottages is a diamond, with a few rough edges. Nothing is perfect, and yes, their are a few minor details that could be designated as flawed. But one thing brings all of that together: Genuine service from the hart, through a smile. And believe me, that is the unique selling point of the Villa Beach Cottages. Their are other Resorts with more perfection and less smiles. And they charge 3 times the price of this hidden gem. My pictures are the proof. Thank you so much for a unforgettable vacation. And creating a home near our family home. Adrian and Patrick

There is a beautiful newly build wooden Cottage with 2 bedrooms ( in colonial style) , build in the garden, next to the pool. From the property it is just a 3 minute walk to the palm fringed sandy Labrelotte beach, We are the place where you get great service, warm friendly atmosphere, English & German speaking, great unforgettable tours, home away from home. Don't just Dream it! Do it!
Wonderful gardens, super location and so very peaceful. We had a wonderful few days here and came here after an all inclusive resort and wish we had of just come here first. The grounds are so nice and there are humming birds constantly around the pool. It truly is a wonderful place. Something to note, all beaches in Saint Lucia are public therefore you don't have to stay at a hotel located on the beach.

My wife and I stayed 1 night with a Hotels.com reservation. After an 50 minute night flight from Antigua, we waited for our confirmed hotel pickup. After 15 minutes, I called and the owner apologized and came immediately (driver was sick and there would be no US $10 charge) for the 1.2 km west to this hotel. Her nice granddaughter took our Visa payment, provided WiFi code, then showed us down to our ground floor Studio A. (Our confirmed Studio D had been given away by mistake to a late arriving group). We entered a small private patio to a simple but spacious room with a firm queen, 2 side closets, small wall TV with English cable channels, AC, fan and only one of the 3 lights worked. To the side was a small kitchen with table and 2 chairs, and further down, the bathroom with an odd vented bi-fold door and bare stall shower. We asked for toilet paper, a hand towel and 2 coffee mugs. The AC quit running during the night and we put on the fan which did not control the no see-ums. Our morning shower had no hot and very slow cold water. Our 7:30 AM patio breakfast included scrambled eggs with cheese, salad, 2 types of bread and coffee with a delightful view over the bay surrounded by tropical gardens. We could hear the waves gently hitting the shore and saw a plane coming in to land. At 8:15 AM, the owner kindly dropped us at the bus station on her way to town at no charge. We found this quiet friendly hotel a convenient stay for our after dark flight and a decent value at US$84 per night.

Set on two miles of powdery sand, surrounded by acres of exotic tropical gardens, it’s easy to why Rendezvous has been called “the romantic holiday.” It’s hard to imagine a more alluring corner of the world for two people to escape to. A world away from the everyday, it’s a uniquely intimate island retreat. From the long stretches of deserted beach to the lazy-river pool that winds its way through quiet nooks and secret hideaways, every aspect of this all-inclusive luxury resort has been created to give couples the space and time they need to be alone.
We were expecting great things but beware, the hotel backs onto a busy road which has cars racing and sirens blearing almost constantly in the evening. Secluded and tranquil it certainly isn’t! The rooms are of a good standard although the water pressure is very low. This hotel is adults only and I’m guessing that most people choose this as they don’t want to be surrounded by screaming kids so be aware that the beach that the hotel are rightly proud of is a public one and when we were there was full of local families enjoying the sun. Again, secluded and tranquil it isn’t. The thing that makes up for at least some of my complaints are the staff, they truly will do everything they can to make your stay perfect, unfortunately due to the location and very public beach this is not somewhere we would ever return.

Harbor View Guesthouse is conveniently located to all major businesses and shopping in the Castries area. Ideal for the low budget traveller looking for good value at a great price. One and two bedroom apartments are available. Come stay with us on your next visit to St. Lucia.
We spent a few days at the Harbour Vista Inn which is situated on top of a hill overlooking the harbor. The two bedroom apartment is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Beautiful harbor views. The wonderful breeze coming off of the sea and room fans make air conditioning unnecessary. The owner, Cletus, is friendly, responsive and courteous and makes you feel right at home without being intrusive.

First of all I wish to tell the owner that at least he can take very serious care with the maintenance. The cleanliness level and hygiene of the place are miserable. Window nets full of hole’s. Doors full of hole’s. Insects inside the kitchen. Kitchen is totally disgusting. I used the microwave once and still I taste the microwave odor. Beds squeak’s when someone move’s. Shower is a totally nightmare and revolts the stomach every time you try to have a shower. Sink broken. Glasses broken. We couldn’t do any thing to leave the island as the internal flights between the island’s don’t work every day. Although the island is nice and even people are nice in certain places. Nearly every one hassles you.
