Reviewed By MrsMatokWe stay at Il Tiglio for just a couple of nights, and we felt immediately at home but with a level of comfort, cleanliness, and attention to detail that it's very difficult to find nowadays. The owner Mario is a fantastic host, willing to go the extra mile to help, give recommendations, and make you feel taken care of. A special mention goes to the breakfast: everything homemade, from the pastries to juices to the awesome jams,! This was a treat that we will never forget!

Clean and modern but a little out of the way
Reviewed By man910This hotel is modern and clean with a big deck overlooking the pool. However, it was also overlooking a construction sight and is a bit out of the way, about a 15 minute walk from restaurants and the main area. A tip regarding WiFi access. It's free but requires a userid & password to log on. That also means you need to get passes for every device you have (just ask the front desk). We didn't realize this until my friend couldn't log on after I logged on. The staff was accommodating to us on our bike tour. They locked our bikes in a storage area underneath the complex. When we left the next day and asked to refill our water bottles from the sink, they refilled them from the bar instead.

Reviewed By Helen BWe were searching the history of the New Zealand Secondary Expedition Force in WW2, and had booked this as a run into Cassino. This was a very old laundry.RIGHT beside the church, but thank heavens the bells ceased at 10pm! Not always the case on this trip. Perched way up on the hillside, the view over the village and the mountains were spectacular. A very modern refurbished room with excellent bed and ensuite. In the dining room, the old stone marble wash troughs are still in situ! Along with old photos of the time! The owner waited for us! That was excellent, AND set us up for dinner in the local restaurant. Next morning had breakfast laid out early for us as we had to be on the road early. WARNING - do you not let your GPS take you to the address, or you will never arrive. Communicate with the hotel and find the easy way. We ended up in very very narrow old street, that we had to reverse out of to get back to the hotel. Everything about this hotel was outstanding!!!

Reviewed By AnnaB107siamo stati 3 giorni in questo hotel carinissimo e pulitissimo. Arredato con gusto. La proprietaria molto disponibile e gentile. Buona colazione. Ci dono giochini per bimbi piccoli e bici a disposizione con la pista ciclabile di fronte. Di fronte c'è anche una spiaggetta sul fiume. Ci torneremo siamo stati benissimo
