A group of us stayed here when we were doing the Grand Fondo Ezaro (a cycling event). The location is perfect - opposite the beach and close to the start of the event. The rooms were excellent and the staff were lovely and went out of their way to help us. Highly recommended for anyone doing the Ezaro or just visiting the area. An excellent restaurant as well.

This hotel has amazing views, great location and an extremely friendly staff. The hotel has a beautiful marble entrance and they have an elevator, so you don't have to walk up the stairs with your luggage. Also, try the garlic shrimp. They are the best I have ever had.

Casa A Laxe

A Laxe is a rural guesthouse one century old. It has been passionately restored and integrated into the landscape taking into account and keeping as much as possible its structure and the materials of a typical galician house by the sea. Stone and wood have had the most important materials used in this restoration. The house is sorrounded by a stream called "Regato da Laxe", this stream brings water from "A Moa", the highest point of the Pindo mountain (641 meters high), where you can see Fisterra, Corcubion, the amazing beach of Carnota and according to legend: the towers of the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela. The porch in the entrance, located on the main facade of the house, is facing the sea from a wide balcony with the beach and, further on, the Fisterra lighthouse as its background. Once inside, the dinning-room and the kitchen share the same space. The kitchen, where a typical galician hearth has been preserved, is the nerve centre of the house where in days gone by its inhabitants would get together by the fire. In the lounge, both furniture and materials it is made of let us guess the past in a journey back in time. Outside the house there are several balconies to which you can get by one side of the house surrounding the stream and which make their ascent by one face of the mountain where, from the highest point, you can enjoy a splendid view and from where you can gaze at the sunset in the end of the world.

Lovely house, friendly and welcoming hosts.

This is a lovely house with great facilities and plenty of room. The walled courtyard is a lovely setting for meals and very safe for children. But the hosts are so friendly and welcoming, beyond everything we;ve experienced before. Fresh vegetables, newly laid eggs, fruit and even cakes were provided to us during our stay. This is a very rural area, so you obviously need a car to get around, but there are plenty of places to visit in easy reach of the house. Highly recommended.

Xanela da Lua

Perfect home for exploring the area of Galicia. Great hospitality and accommodations!

Reviewed By janniechloe

Our extended family just returned from a 10-day trip to the Galicia area of Spain. Xanela da Lua was the perfect place for us! It's a beautiful old stone family home that has been made completely comfortable for individuals or groups who want a wonderful place to come "home" to after exploring the towns and beaches in the area. Carmen, the owner and hostess, is a perfect balance of warm hospitality and respectful privacy. Each morning we were served a delicious breakfast before starting that day's adventures. The rooms were appointed beautifully and each room has its own en suite bath, which is wonderful. There were several lovely gathering areas for meals or just simply enjoying some games of chess or reading. The location is magnificent for exploring the area, a little over an hour to Santiago de Compostela, an hour and twenty minutes to Caruna, and only minutes from Muros. Beaches are everywhere, each with their own personality and flavor. And at night Xanela da Lua was the perfect place to return and relax and share stories of the day. I can not imagine a better place to stay in that area than this exquisitely lovely guest home.

Apartamentos Ramona

Muy bien

Reviewed By apple_23_23
