This is the second time we have visited the hacienda. The first for one night, and now three. That tells its own story. It provides a quality relaxation break with personal service in a unique location between the most beautiful city (Seville) and the most interesting (Carmona) cities in Spain. Exactly what we wanted! Attentive and obliging service in an ancient olive estate Some young families might find it a little quiet - maybe that might be a benefit to others!

Personally, I really did like the Carmona itself but it was used as an anchor to visit Meridia and Seville. The parador had a nice overview of the surrounding areas. The breakfast buffet was nice with plenty of choices.

13 rooms connected by flowered patios and picteresque ways, corners perfumed by fragances from orange blossom and incense, and under the sound of the constantly falling of the water on its fountains. Each room architecturally different and individuality decorated and furnished.
A very bland welcome, passports, keys, breakfast times. And the lack of information continued in the room, nothing, no local sights, no recommendations for restaurants etc. The building and bedroom are in old style Spanish house, quaint and attractive. Comfortable and clean, no tea or coffee facilities, no fridge, WiFi difficult to access and kept dropping off. Breakfast was Spanish style. Juice, coffee, toasted bread with oil, tomatoes and salt to taste. Not exactly sumptuous, just OK to start the day served by a very pleasant lady. Perhaps the receptionist can learn from her and lift the atmosphere of the establishment rather than a bland greeting. Luckily we found parking just 50 metres away otherwise it would be a really long walk. On the plus side it's in the centre for restaurants on Plaza San Fernando.

Frenteabastos, a different alternative to stay in Carmona and can have a coffee or a drink with friends, share laughs and enjoy the moment.
It was evident that the hostel has not recovered from the pandemic. At the time of our stay the pool and bar/cafe were not open. Our very small bedroom was reasonably comfortable for our two night stay but the bedside light didn't work and the shower head holder was broken. There was no safe, fridge, or wardrobe in the bedroom, nor any tea and coffee making facility. The whole hotel has a very run down atmosphere. The location is good for visiting the historic area. The parking areas are quite a long way from the hostel.

The Hotel Palmero is a comfortable hotel located in the service area of the A-4, km 523 , from the hotel you have an easy access to Seville and all directions, meeting minutes from the airport, the Santa Train Justa, Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions, Olympic Stadium, Isla de la Cartuja and the monumental city of Carmona . It was built in 1992.
We chose this hotel because we were arriving at Seville airport late. It is a few minutes drive from the airport, just off the A4. This hotel is not fancy, but it is very clean and quiet with spacious rooms. There is lots of parking so it was perfect for us with a rental car. We stayed here 2 nights and used it as a base for visiting Cordoba and a couple of charming towns(Carmona) between the hotel and Cordoba. As others have mentioned, this hotel unfortunately doesn't have a restaurant and not even a vending machine to buy cold drinks. The 2 guys in reception were very accommodating in supplying us with ice at least. There is a restaurant a few meters in the front of the hotel but it shuts down quite early. There is another restaurant a few hundred meters away but you practically need to drive there. Wifi was free and worked fine. All in all, good value for the money when you want to be close to the airport.

Hotel San Pedro is a traditional small hotel with bar / restaurant where You can enjoy your Pan con Tomate and a Cafe´Solo. You find free parking very close and there is only a short walk to the local supermarket and restaurants. 10 minutes walk from restaurant Almazara de Carmona where You will find a fairly impressive wine list with Vega Sicila. The hotel is noisy (both internal and external) and the beds could do with an upgrade. Aircon ok. Wifi only works at the rooms closes the stairs!

This place is a monastery and VERY quiet, which is nice. It is situated just next to Plaza San Fernando, where You will find lots of bars, life and noise. The single room was fine - small but with a good bed, table and chair and a simple bathroom. Everything very clean. I had wifi in the room that worked well. There is NO air conditioning but just a noisy fan. For that reason I will not recommend this place from June to September. I stayed in September where it was 37 degrees, and I did not have a lot of sleep for that reason.

First night's stop on a short drive around this area of Spain after arriving at Seville airport about 10-15 minutes away.First thoughts were - what have we done- just looked like Truck stop. However, the room we were given was very comfortable with aircon and TV. It was undergoing some refurbishment and so the usual restaurant was closed but they were still able to provide a good (shortened) menu which kept us going for the evening and following mornings breakfast. So new rule - don't be put off by first appearances.
