Welcome to Muehlener Hof!
Everything was ok. The rooms are clean and spacious. The wellness area is very nice, clean, peaceful. The food is excellent and very nicely served. They have a good selection of local wines. Parking is also excellent as they have a garage. There are three ski slopes nearby, the largest Kronplatz, which is approximately 20 minutes away, which is not a lot of driving.

An unforgettable vacation awaits you at the Hotel Bacher, in the heart of an extraordinary natural setting. Far from the traffic, you'll discover an idyllic oasis of wellbeing, where the days flow one after another in the name of pleasure and relaxation!
We spent 4 nights with our family at Hotel Bacher. The hotel is managed by a family - all members are great hosts and provided excellent service. The hotel is situted at a magical place - as we stayed here in the winter, it was great for winter hiking (the hotel provided snowshoes free of charge) and for those who do cross country skiing, the slope is just next door. There's a small ski slope in the village as well, but the nearest ski resorts, Speikboden and Klausberg are both just perfect. Good quality slopes and not crowdy. We loved them. The hotel just re-opened after a renovation, with brand newly refurnished rooms - beds and bathroom were very comfortable (we stayed in a family room). There's a nice wellness area (probably because we came just after the reopening, the water was cold for us, but the saunas are great). I have to mention, that the food was very-very nice: breakfast is from a buffet - a good choice and good quality, and the five course dinners were amazing - they were very special, every day. I am sure we will return someday :-)

Near the Aurino river, a short walk from the center of Campo Tures and near the cable car of Mount Spicco there is a small family-run four-star hotel. Simple, fascinating and unique, it is the perfect combination of rural style and deep love for details. A unique and magical place, where the true and sincere South Tyrolean hospitality is combined with local and Mediterranean delicacies. The fragrance of freshly baked bread and the intense flavor of homemade jams will make your good morning sweeter! The dough processed with the warmth of the hands, as it was once made, and produced with regional ingredients, will give your palate a triumph of flavors. You can also relax in the alpine wellness oasis with the indoor pool, various saunas in stone or wood. In the beauty farm you will be spoiled with local products based on mountain herbs. The Ahrntal valley is heavenly and has much to offer, both in summer and winter, 80 mountains above 3000 meters, 164 mountain pastures, 4 ski areas and 850 km of trails. You can only imagine it ... so much beauty! We will be happy to welcome you personally in our special little hotel in this fairytale valley. Our motto is: "Arrive as guests and return home with new friends"
My mother and I booked a last minute deal at Hotel Alte Muehle for 7 nights for the price of 6. The price was extremely reasonable, and included breakfast and dinner. The property itself is well looked after and has been updated with all the usual modern amenities over the years. There is a spa with 2 relaxing areas, an indoor pool, multiple saunas (one Finnish) and the best 2 steam rooms I have ever visited. The therapist is well versed in many kinds of treatments and massage therapies. The public areas are adorned with old photos of the surrounding landscape, family, and climbers who have frequented the area. The main public area includes the best stocked bar outside of Milan & a cozy fireplace with plenty of seating all around. This is a place that embodies everything about the southern Tyrol, and makes you want to return again and again. The area is known for its hiking and cross country trails, as well as 2 world class downhill skiing areas. The hotel offer a vast variety of activities, some free and others run by the town - so you are never without something to do. Last but not least - the dining experience which was absolutely flawless. The breakfast buffet includes everything you could ever dream of, and every one of the 5 dishes we ate at dinner throughout our stay was exceptional. The service too was immaculate, on a par with (if not better) than some of the world`s top hotel groups. No joke, this hotel deserves every award out there! Thank you for making our short stay so memorable.

Looking at broucheures and info on web - giving an impression of a very good hotel. The reality was far from it. Seems like owners has changed - who dosent seem skilled in hotel management. They seemed very friendly If you speak italian, but says nothing If you speak english. Room was not maintained - bedlight not working, lamp shield missing in the hall, bathroom not clean - towels placed in the room not in the bathroom. Missing soap, shampoo and conditioner - there where only a few paper samples available. Breakfast selection fair but not refilled regularly - was almost completely empty for approx 20 min around 9 am on the day we left. They keep rubbish outside over several days.
