We stayed at this hotel for our wedding. We booked two rooms- 205 (executive suite) and 509/8 (presidential suite). 205 was beautiful, open, lots of light, warm colors in the room, AC was robust. It looked exactly like the photo online. 509 was disappointing- it seems they renovated it more recently than 205, but everything was gray. Everything. We were pretty confused when we checked in to 509, because they also gave us the keys to 508 (a basic room). Apparently you get two separate rooms when you book- the Presidential suite and a basic room, and we ended up with an empty room that no one used. Had we known ahead of time we could've arranged a friend to stay with us. They seemed like they wanted a blue accent wall, but then the entire wall was covered up by an unmovable gray curtain? The couch still had the store tags attached to it and the fireplace was crammed in a corner and not very usable. The AC unit had leaked at some point and they didn't fix the water damage, so we couldn't close the shutters in the living area. The AC in the Presidential Suite was not as good as in the Executive suite. They have one unit for each room, instead of the two for one space in the Executive , and despite having the units running since we got in, it still took 12h to cool the room 5 degrees, and we couldn't sleep. Thankfully we had the Executive suite still so we slept down there that night. After 24 hours it was fine to sleep in the Presidential suite. There were aspects of the Presidential suite that were nice, like the reading lights on the bed, outlets on the desk, and being able to close the bedroom door if you had guests over. The bathroom was very nicely redone, but if you're looking for a tub, there is only a shower. (The Executive suite had a shower/tub combo.) We paid $250 a night for the Executive suite and $500 a night for the Presidential suite. In our opinion, the Presidential suite was not worth it. The Junior suite was more our style and at half the price. I would only consider the Presidential suite if you get someone to split it with you and they stay in the surprise extra room.

We booked a night at this hotel for one reason: my grandfather had a fairly serious medical procedure scheduled for the following day, and we wanted to be very close to the medical facility where the procedure was taking place ( UMass Hospital Worcester) so that hopefully we would be less stressed out in the morning and so we'd avoid any potential traffic, because we live fairly far away from Worcester, in Connecticut. I'm used to staying at a Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn/Comfort Suites, Homewood Suites, Hyatt Place (once), La Quinta (although not in a long time), Fairfield Inn and Suites - well, I think you get the idea. All of these hotels are usually relatively reasonably priced and they all have free continental breakfast at all times. These hotels are essentially in an entirely different category of accommodation, and it would be unfair to 100% directly compare my previous excellent stays at Hampton Inns or Fairfield Inns to my stay at this Hilton Garden Inn. I've always known that Hilton Garden hotels have no free breakfast and I've always avoided them mostly for this single reason. This was the first exception, because apparently there were a bunch of graduations happening, and all of the better choices for hotels were booked up when I was ready to make my reservation. I was so disappointed when I found out that the Homewood Suites was booked - it was the highest-rated hotel in Worcester on Tripadvisor, was cheaper, had complimentary breakfast, and I just knew that Homewood Suites hotels were excellent places to stay - I believe I stayed at one last year, and it was an amazing value. So, I'm not going to be too hard on this hotel for the things that I already expected prior to arriving. I knew there was no breakfast, I knew I was paying too much considering how much cheaper the Homewood Suites was, etc. etc... I will only focus on a few unexpected negative "surprises" or just simply things that were worse than expected. For starters, the hotel is starting to show its age - that's just a simple fact. No big deal, considering the price I paid, I'd say it's worth mentioning. Also, we got some wings from the Uno's Restaurant that is connected to the hotel the night we arrived - they were barely edible lol - petrified hahaha. I just laughed it off though. We also got entrees and those were pretty good. Parking was in a garage across the street, which was rough for my grandparents. I will say, the app checkout was nice.

The hotel is located back from the main road overlooking the Black Brooke Reservoir. It is a quiet, lovely location. The rooms were very clean, the front desk people welcoming and helpful, and the complimentary hot breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

I have spent thousands of dollars at various Hilton properties as an HHonors member for the past six years. I have been happy with the service and the accommodations, and in the past year both have gone seriously downhill. I booked a room for my nephew's wedding more than a year in advance. In November (before the April wedding) I looked for my reservation confirmation in my email and could not find one. I called this property, because I was 99% sure this was where I booked. I was told over the phone that there was no reservation in my name. The rates had gone up significantly and no longer fit my budget. I tried to work with someone to see if my rewards could cover part of my costs. It also turns out that years of stays were no longer credited to me and they only had the most recent year of travel on record. So I ended up booking someplace else that I did not like at all. I never got any sort of notification or reminder of the reservation they told me I did not have (during previous stays I usually get something a month before, a week before, the day before, on the day of I am encouraged to check in via the app...etc) NOTHING. UNTIL I was charged for a no-show reservation. They refused to credit me so I disputed to my bank. Now the bank has said that they have "proven" that the charge was valid by saying I admitted I never cancelled. I ADMITTED I NEVER CANCELLED BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME I DIDN'T HAVE A RESERVATION. I'm glad that Hilton has decided that charging me $134.47 they are not entitled to is losing all of my future business, the personal travel I do at least four times or more per year, the business travel I do on a regular basis, in addition to booking travel for other people through my business. I will NEVER stay at another Hilton again, and I will be putting bad reviews wherever I can. Enjoy my $134.00.

Hotel was easy to get to. Staff was amazing, I was checked in by Ann she had a great personality, very friendly and attentive. Room was amazing, you walked in and could just see and smell the clean. Bed was soft and best sleep I had out of all other 5 or more stays I have had in the area looking for the best hotel. In the morning I spoke with Ann again and asked to speak with the housekeeper that cleaned my room the day before, (having been in housekeeping myself and a executive housekeeper) I know they don't get enough credit when they do a great job only when they do a bad job! I got to meet the housekeeper Georgia, (or Georgie) and her trainee Dayshawn and tipped them both and thanked them for doing such a wonderful job. I also spoke with her executive housekeeper and Alex who was there that morning. They were busy for graduation weekend, They had a hot breakfast eggs, potato's, sausage, waffles, and other misc items. I wish I had taken pics but did not think about it at the time. Check out was easy. Sorry this was so long But I wanted To thank the Staff and Hotel on such a GREAT JOB. Thank you!!!!!

As usual I had a lot of fun during my stay here. Staff were on point and the weird hobos outside were cool to talk to. I had me a noice meal at the outback next door where I proceeded to get pretty wasted so it was good that I could stumble back to my room. Rooms come with a minifridge and old underpowered microwave unit. Bathrooms could use a bit of an overhaul. Great time overall though, as always. Take advantage of the breakfast! I like to hit up the bagels before I hop on the public computer to play some roblox.

Very disappointed. This was by far the dirtiest Hampton that I have ever seen. I went to the front desk and told the manager there was mold in the shower and she told me she was aware and that they were having a hard time getting rid of it. I told her the rest of the room was so dusty and so dirty.. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. Refused to give me a receipt. The whole experience was horrendous. I will never ever be back and I will be sure every parent at my son's college is aware of the low standards in this hotel. No surprise, it is Under New Management. Last year this hotel was very nice and clean. Not anymore. Stay in Auburn or Westborough. They are both clean.

First two nights of my week stay here, the AC/fan was terrible. Moved rooms for the remainder of my week stay. The lobby area has a Starbucks that is not open past breakfast, but there was one within a 15 minute walk from the location. Guest room area was really run down and dirty. Furniture was very dated. The TVs were small and old, though they did have the ability to log into Netflix and YouTube. The headboard in my first room came apart on me, the second room had some staining on the carpet, walls and drapes. Rooms were spacious and the bed was comfy. It looks like this location is in the process of recovering from the pandemic shutdowns, but isn't there yet. Not what I expect from the Courtyard by Marriott name.
