The 10 best hotels in Bisbee, United States

June 25, 2022 Natalie Tallman

Bisbee has declined in size and vigor from its glory days as a thriving silver and copper mining town, but the decrease in population has not robbed the vitality from this historic center. A haven to artists, retirees and history buffs, Bisbee astounds visitors with vibrantly colored rock faces and picturesque houses hugging the edges of cliffs. Its history can be discovered in its numerous museums, historic staircases and a mine tour that leads deep into one of the remaining caverns.

Worth a Visit

Reviewed By Diana Z

We visited Bisbee on a Sunday afternoon and decided on a whim to spend the night at the Copper Queen Hotel. The front desk person was very nice and after determining the room we selected was not quite ready, she upgraded us to a larger room on the second floor. That level has a parlor area with several Victorian type pieces. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We even heard the end of the ghost tour as it concluded in the parlor. No ghosts, just a good night's sleep before exploring the town in the morning. The continental breakfast was fair at best so we ate at the local coffee shop located close by. The hotel has a pool area on the second level as well which would be welcome if we visited in warmer months. Overall, the hotel is very centrally located & full of character. It was worth a short visit. Note that there is no parking specifically for hotel, but you do not have to pay for parking and a public lot is not too far away.

Eldorado Suites Hotel

Your home suite home in the heart of Bisbee! Offering spacious one or two-bedroom suites with dine-in kitchens & large verandas to enjoy panoramic views, experience the charms of our eclectic little mountain town right outside your door. Families have been calling our historic property home since 1914. Originally known as the Brooks Apartments, our building was quite modern for the day. An early example of a multi-family residential building, it was home to "respectable society" who reveled in the spacious verandas, private entrances, concrete floors, and large partitions that distinguished it from the shared spaces that were offered in boarding houses at the time. Many newlyweds and families, even the famous Los Angeles psychic to the stars, Madame Martel, called the Brooks Apartments home during the early 20th century. In 2006, our historic property was remodeled and reimagined as the Eldorado Suites Hotel. Extensive updates were made while preserving many of its original architectural features. It holds a place on the National Historic District Register.

This could be a charming spot, but it's in need of a serious update. You can have both old-world charm and updated lighting, fixtures, and furnishings. We wish we'd stayed elsewhere, although the staff here were just fine - friendly and helpful.

Funky but in need of upgrades

Old building with thin walls and questionable plumbing. Staff are very friendly and breakfast is good. No where to walk as it is a bit out of the way. They have some really loud wind chimes on one side of the hotel. You should ask to be located away from those.

Fantastic Place to stay!

Reviewed By Onebigfuzzy

What a pleasant surprise! This was our first trip to Bisbee. From everything that I had read, this is an old town and all of the hotels will be old ones. Sometimes when you go to old establishments, they are not the best. NOT THE CASE HERE! We were contacted by the Mgr when our rooms were available, ahead of the normal check-in time. We had three rooms of their five rooms. Each was fantastic. They kept the original charm of the building in the floors and tiles, but added all of the things you will need in a stay - nice size TV, eating area, kitchen with all the "stuff" you might need, sitting chair, full bathroom. Everything was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was everything you could need down to a picture of cold water in the fridge. I was so pleasantly surprised and REALLY enjoyed my stay. This is in addition to a super cool town with a great vibe. We will be back. <3

Arizona’s best kept secret

We are visitors from the UK and have been coming to Arizona for 40 years, so you may guess that we like the place. We visit every year. It never ceases to amaze us that many Arizonans have never visited Bisbee. It is one of the most unique and charming towns that we have discovered over many years of touring many parts of the US. The Letson Lofts is the ideal boutique hotel as a base to explore this unique town and all that it has to offer. We recommend visiting during the mid week. Weekends town is much busier and it can be difficult to get reservations out of the limited number of restaurants. The Letson is right in the middle of the action, two minute walk from the best restaurant, the best coffee shop in town and the excellent mining Museum The people who run Letson were extremely professional - nothing is too much trouble.

What a uniquely different and wonderful experience. Such a comfortable hotel to stay in with excellent charm. The owner, Chris, has created an atmosphere in which you feel like you’re at home. This is not so much a fancy hotel, but an extremely comfortable hotel. It has the unique history of this old mining town and a heritage of this 100 year old hotel As other reviews state, if you’re looking for large screen TV in your room, a fancy lobby, And a huge happy hour bar… Find a Hilton. But if you want to go back in time… This is the place!

Greenway Manor

Our 10 Year Anniversary Celebration Was A Hit!

Reviewed By cldubulous

My husband and I have been planning our 10 year anniversary party for...10 years, lol. Greenway Manor could not have been more magical than it was the night of our party! We rented the whole house for our very large and rambunctious family who all came and stayed with us for an entire weekend. We renewed our vows, threw our own personal concerts, and cooked a ton of food together. I’m amazed to say that after years of planning this celebration, it turned out perfectly! There was more than enough space for our big family within Greenway’s halls, not to mention the fabulous rooms which all boasted kitchens, sitting areas, and full bathrooms. I kept walking around that big, gorgeous house by myself, letting the walls whisper to me, and feeling in awe of the greatness wrapped around me. Gretchen was a gracious, efficient, and welcoming hostess. She allowed us to tour the property multiple times in preparation for our party and she made the house and it’s contents fully accessible to us. The kitchen and common areas were more than stocked with everything we could need to entertain nearly 40 people. I am so happy we chose Greenway as the place to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, it was more than a dream come true.
