The ardent Pyrenean landscape of the easter side of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido Nature Reserve gives shelter to this charming refuge. The height and pure air offered by Monte Perdido and cheerful river Cinca, provide an atmosphere of peace and well-being. It a has a wellcoming interior with floors, walls, beams and columns lined with wood and some rooms with marvelous views of this natural enclave.
Parador de Bielsa is a vintage hotel located in beautiful Bielsa, in front of Monte Perdido in the Pyrenees. it offers scenic view and remote quiet atmosphere. The Hotel is comfortable, rooms are well furnished in ancient Spanish furnitures. Hiking trails are available in front of the Hotel. The biggest issue with this Hotel is the food: the restaurant is extremely expensive and the food and service quality are very poor. This is a pity because Spain has a lot to offer in terms of food. We had dinner there once and could not believe the low quality of the food. my wife had the mixed salad as a starter (cost 15 euros) which was at the level of Mc Donald. I had the croquettes de Jason (worth 13 euros) which were without taste (worth 5 euros in any tapas bar). We both had the risotto which was without taste and good cooking. the breakfast is average with industrial food/bread and poor quality coffee and tee. there are only two waiters for a room of 80 people and the poor guys can not even accommodate any simple wish (such as having hot water for the tea..)I complained at the reception about the situation which seems to be perpetuating Tip: if you stay in this hotel, make a reservation at restaurant la Terrazata in Bielsa for diner (cheaper and very high quality local food), it is only a 15 mn drive and worth it !!

We really enjoyed a recent short visit to this charming family run hotel. The staff were all very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was very clean and the bedrooms very comfortable. We ate each evening in the hotel restaurant and couldn't fault the excellent food and service. WIFI was free within the hotel and there was ample free parking on site.

This mountain establishment boasts a privileged location, in the Aragón Pyrenees, with modern facilities, rural decoration and a wealth of services nearby. This building exhibits an innovative architecture that unites traditional and contemporary elements. The interior of the building has been designed down to the finest detail and the comfortable rooms can house between 2 and 4 people. They are ideal for families with children. This is an adventure sport lover’s paradise, but also a place for those who simply want to relax and enjoy the nature and cuisine.
A beautiful place to stay in a fantastic location. Very little English spoken but we all tried and we had a lovely time. The hotel is one of the cleanest we have ever stayed at and everything worked well. The staff were fantastic and always busy helping the guests. The evening meal was really good value, freshly cooked and tasty. With a bottle of wine included a really good way to finish off the day. Our room was over the dining room so noisy on a Saturday night but on the Sunday it was peaceful. The location is off the main road so no road noise but ask for a rear facing room on the top floor. We stayed in June and lots of young climbers and walkers as guests. During the week it will probably be a lot quieter and as ex-campers we thought the camping facilities were very good.

A hotel with her particular history situated at Bielsa Center and in the middle of Aragon Pyrenees. If you take the Bielsa/Aragnouet tunnel at 13 km you can go from France. A couple, Juan and Arantxa are the manager of this small hotel and are friendly with your guests. The rooms are renovated but using some ancient furniture that you can enjoy it. They offer an ample included breakfast (sweet and salad together) with proximity products quality that makes it at the moment (tortilla patatas, sausages, black coffee, cheeses… are some examples). For lunch you can enjoy small dishes as “cecina” with olive oil for example. For dinner they have a substantial 3 course meal with good choice for all courses (changes daily); you also get a small pre-starter and a bottle of wine between 2 included in the price. Inside the hotel they are a nice shop with quality clothes and souvenirs. If you want enjoy walking the mountains, visit the local museum and a relaxed stage, it’s for you. We chose the hotel for the best value for money and did not disappoint us. We can repeat again.

The Pineta Valley is a stunning, dead end valley just below Mt Perdido and before the tunnel over to France. The setting is amazing with steep valley sides on either side of the campsite. The campsite itself is below the road on the side of the valley, just above the river. We received a friendly welcome in the bar / restaurant area when we arrived. There is usually a little reception kiosk outside, but this wasn't open as it wasn't peak season when we arrived. There is a small, adequately stocked supermarket on-site and from July onwards they have a swimming pool. This was being cleaned ready for high season when we were there and it looked like it would be beautiful with lawns around it for sunbathing. It was so hot while we were there though we could have done with it opening a week or so earlier! One of the main paths up the valley passes through the campsite so it was great being able to set off for a walk without setting foot on the road. The site is arranged along long terraced 'roads' with all the pitches marked out by trees. This made for a lovely shady setup. We chose a pitch far away from the reception where it looked like it would be quiet, which it was for most of our stay. We had a clean and functional toilet block close to hand even though we were right on the far edge of the site. Loads of the pitches were taken up by the typical seasonal Spanish set-ups with the little kitchen huts etc but the site was still fine for more short term visitors like us. There was a good mix of nationalities and set-ups (although we were the only Brits there for the week we stayed). The only problem we had was when a really noisy, large family pitched up next to us, but that was only for one night. We ate at the bar a couple of times & had the set menu which was fantastic value at I think 13 euros each for a full meal, bottle of wine between you and bottled water. However, the best food was just the bar food which was amazing. We had to eat in the bar as we had thunder storms in the evening a couple of nights which was amazing with the clouds coming through the valley and waterfalls suddenly appearing on the valley sides. I had stayed in this valley over 20 years ago at the now closed campsite at the top of the valley & had always wanted to come back. This site did not disappoint.

The appartment is very well located in the center of Bielsa. Owners are friendly. The room is big and comfortable for 3 adults and one 4 years old girl. The price is very good. A good place to stay this summer. On the other hand, It has not lift nor conditioning air (only a fan), but it is not too hot in summer in the Pyrenees.
