The first Marriott International's five-star hotel in Batam Island, Indonesia. A perfect hub for dynamic travellers to work leisurely and rest amidst dazzling coastal waters.
It was definitely a pleasant and chillax stay indeed! The sunset view from our Room was just amazingly beautiful! We were always been greeted with smiley and friendly staff, always ready to help and assist in whatever your requests may be. We will definitely recommend to our family and friends, and will return soon!

Zest Hotel Harbour Bay Batam is strategically located within the largest upcoming integrated Harbour Bay Downtown complex in Batam Island that boasted a Grand Mall, International Port Ferry Terminal, City Walk, International Brand Hotels, Office Towers, Apartments, Waterfront Food Courts, Pubs, Lounges and Shop Houses.
Zest is affordable and convenient.. Close to the ferry terminal just walking distance.. a good choice for me that day since i came from Singapore.. But the internet connection is a bit on and off so it needs improvement. Staff are super, kind and friendly.. location is perfect for a night out.

Relax in comfort, close to the Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal, only 45 minutes from Singapore. Your modern, airy room gives you and the family the space you need to stretch out. A spa treatment or drinks among the columns of the spacious lobby are great ways to unwind in Batam.
I stayed here as part of 10 days quarantine requirement for visitors to Indonesia. The quarantine rules are followed strictly as per health department requirements. In spite of being in a room for 10 days, my time passed very conveniently. This was only due to the excellent service of the hotel staff. Rooms were very clean, had good hygiene, and most importantly excellent food. Although there were set meals, the restaurant staff was very flexible to accommodate any changes in meals I required. I would definitely stay here every time I come to Batam for business or with family

Recommended by my guide for a night stay. Staff were nice and friendly. Room was equipped with basic necessities like aircon, cable TV, telephone, and wifi. The toilet though, can be improved. I can’t properly close the toilet door from the outside and the smell can creep out to the room. For $28 a night with breakfast included, it was decent and value for money.

Room is spacious with balcony. Staff is friendly. However, instruction was not given clearly upon check in,resulting missed breakfast on the following day of stay. Managed to get the set of breakfast on third day . Breakfast is yummy. Found stain on its pillow and quilt cover. While massaging at the massage outlet in the hotel, I had bitten by the mosquito. Noisy at its centre. However, massage staff is amiciable, help to apply lotion onto my mosquito bites. Anyway, location of the hotel is very convenient and walking distance from the newly Bayfront ferry terminal.

The villa is old and run down. Its beautiful but just ageing. The staff were nice but the security seem unsafe as they dun ask for document when checking in. Had to check out the next day as I feel unsafe staying there furthermore we were the only guest. Had to check In anther hotel to feel safe.

Room is very small. Very expensive. We accidentally spill water on bed and ask for change of bedsheet, they charge 20 000(sgd$2) Morning breakfast, we ask for half boil eggs, after finish eating, they ask money for eggs. Each egg is 10 000(sgd$1), I dont think so even in Singapore i have paid so much for and half boiled egg. Will nit come again to this hotel or recommend anyone.
