Leopards, white tigers, and spotted deer—oh my! These are just a few of the 22-plus species of mammals found at Bandhavgarh National Park. Added to that potential line-up are 250 different types of birds. Guests can cruise the park via jeep or elephant, with the latter specially trained to find tigers in the wild. For those who aren’t interested in going on safari, the Umaria district’s rich foliage, high grasslands, and bamboo forests are hailed as some of the most captivating in the country.

As a group of friends, we had a lovely week-long stay at Bundela. Abhishek was very helpful and prompt in catering to all our needs and requests. He played a key role in ensuring our stay was smooth and comfortable and enhanced the overall quality of our time there. We enjoyed our conversations with Anil who would always greet us with a jovial smile and make time to talk to guests. The hotel is nicely located and all the staff members were very polite and hospitable.

The Mahua Kothi Lodge features 12 cottages, each of which is accessed by a spacious private courtyard with shaded seating and traditional stone floor. Interiors include wooden shutters, hand plastered mud walls washed with lime, roughly hewn wooden rafters and handmade pottery roof tiles. Floors are dressed in the locally sourced ‘Katni’ stone. Large wooden puppets adorn the walls while several small alcoves sport arches with geometric tribal patterns in keeping with local trends. A king-sized bed faces an enormous window overlooking a delightful wooded patch. A wide window seat with mattress covers and bolsters in tones of rust and burnt orange contrast delightfully with the vibrant green outside. Each ensuite bathroom features twin hand basins with vintage brass tap fittings placed in front of a glass window covering most of the wall. Bamboo blinds lined with raw silk can be drawn for a view of trees and bamboo thickets as guests ready for safari. The bath tub is lined beside a wall with beautiful ‘Jaali’ work while the step down shower area is provided with a shiny brass bucket and mug in case guests wish to take a ‘bucket bath’, as most rural Indians do. Experience the best of jungle safari at our resort in Bandhavgarh National Park!
Stay for one night, loved the stay! ‘keshu’ was super helpful. The chefs served amazing food , lovely preparation. People are warm and courteous and ready to do anything to put a smile on your face. Some places of improvement: 1. on arrival , we were stopped and made wait outside the property by the guard due to some confusion of our reservation. We waited out the property for about 10-15 mins. Super negative Taj arrival experience till date. Not acceptable. 2. Bathtub drain was broken due to which we were not able to enjoy it.

On and among the trees in our five tree houses there is a route to hide away of fantasies. In the 21 acres area of land lies an option of experiencing the snug life inside the rooms or venture out in the tiger-infested wild. The property has its resident species of birds, reptiles and animals residing around the forest trees and over time the area has now become a small secure park for them. You can spend your time unseen and undisturbed in the intimacy of your room or choose to go looking for wild animals & birds in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.
The idea of visiting Bandhavgarh just clicked and we stumbled upon this property while searching over the internet. Reasons like an actual TREEHOUSE to experience, great reviews, located right in the middle of the forest (buffer zone) were good enough for us to finalize this resort. Mr Pankaj, who was very helpful, helped us with the bookings and payments. We took flight from Delhi to Jabalpur and from there hired a cab to reach this magnificent property. We were awake since last night and way too tired after the flight and visiting Bhedaghat Boating Point & Dhuadhar Falls (the hidden gems of Jabalpur) in the morning. But almost 3 KMs before this resort, our tiredness & fatigue simply vanished. It was like we entered a fantasy world. The melodies of the birds, tress and everything about the forest got us fully charged. Upon reaching, we were warmly welcomed by staff. We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days Everything at this resort was amazing. The room was spacious, well-equipped with all the modern amenities that allowed us to enjoy the nature with utmost luxury. The first night dinner in the forest, known as Bush Dinner, was a pleasant surprise. Luckily, our mobile internet was working great so we never felt the need for the resort WiFi. The food was so delicious especially the Carrot Salad & the cold soups, that I crave for them now even while writing this review. Big Shoutout to Mr Ashish, Chaubey Ji, Pandit Ji and their whole team of Treehouse Hideaway for their dedication, humility and sincerity. They made sure that our trip was no less than a memorable stay. We were quite apprehensive for our 2nd day Tiger Safari as we had pre booked only one but Mr Ashish convinced us to go for another one as one is not enough! Guess what, it the best decision we made as we ended up spotting 4 tigers!! Chaubey Ji made sure our breakfast during the morning we left for Tiger Safari. Moreover, he was our guide during one of the Tiger Safaris. You will surely love his legendry folklore about the tiger reserve, forest & life. Pandeyji has been with the resort since it's inception. He happily accompanied me (without even me asking him) for the safari booking, which I decided at the last moment. He made sure that the booking was done smoothly. One of the best things about this resort was the breakfast they packed for us. It was sufficient not only for us but also the driver and the guide. We would love to visit this resort again and again!!

Tiger’s Villa Resort at Bandhavgarh National Park is a luxury wildlife resort which is spacious, clean, hygienic and best modern amenities. The beautiful view from the rooms which are surrounded by beautiful garden. The resort is by no means small it encompasses a large area with forest as surroundings.
the only thing going for this place is the location which is 5 min walk from Tala Gate, which is not a huge advantage as the gypsy will come to pick you up for safari at any hotel you stay at. the resort has a huge lawn which is good to relax and chill out, however rooms are a big let down, TV's dont work, mattresses are not clean and super uncomfortable. first room we got the flush was broken, however the room was changed next day. no hot water supply in rooms we were given a electric rod to heat water which took hours and was super putoff as we had a kid and it was dangerous with a electric rod hanging. the the staff is polite and try to make your stay comfortable, however the owners do not maintain the property. I would suggest not to stay here as many other properties at budget are available with much better facilities.

Very unprofessional staff & arguing with every guests. Food is limited with only poha puri bhaji as breakfast, no cereal or fruits. We booked pool rooms and when we reached hotel didn’t give rooms accordingly and saying they don’t have pool room will have to build one in a taunting way. We reached hotel at 2 pm for checkin and received rooms at 3:30 pm. At the time of checkout got a call to leave room @ 12:00 very rudely. Don’t take this hotel even if last option available.

The lodge is environmentally sensitive, harmonious with the natural features of the site and accentuates natural daylight to all facilities. Local knowledge and art has been incorporated in the development and the lodge has been constructed using local manpower. The lodge is rustic yet deluxe, finished with fine cotton and handcrafted furniture. The lodge is set in a forested estate of 32 acres over looking sal forested hills on both sides. Bandhavgarh was established in 1968 as a National Park, and is spread over an area of 448 sq. kms. This national park was declared as a tiger reserve under Project Tiger in the year 1993. It is predominantly covered with vegetation like SAL, SALI, DHOBIN and has vast stretches of grasslands spread over 32 hills, the region though smaller than other wildlife parks has one of the highest density of tigers in the world.
Wonderful experience with King's Lodge and Pugdundee Safaris. It was smooth and easy from the beginning to the end! Due to certain unfortunate circumstances we had to reschedule our trip and safari dates. It was an absolutely no questions asked and hassle free experience, with the help of Mr. Pankaj from Gurgaon. The gates recommended by him were 100% eventful (14 sightings in a day). It was a memorable trip thanks to all the staff and especially Mr. Amit Mukherjee for the seamless coordination and execution. We had booked the pick up and drop from Jabalpur with them. The vehicles were in excellent condition, the drivers were very cooperative and polite. Expect a warm warm welcome and reception on arrival. The rooms have a beautiful ambience. The staff is very soft spoken and compliant. Excellent service and thoughtfulness is an add on. Right from providing bottles of chilled water and the most refreshing nimbu paani on the safari jeeps to the packed sandwiches on the way back to the airport - it all touched just the right chords. Their in house vegetables and butterflies garden is very well maintained by the maali Shyamlal. The food is delicious and served with so much affection, don't forget to count a few extra kilos by the time you are back home. The rooms are cleaned and done twice a day. All provisions are replaced from time to time. Wildlife documentaries broadcasting happens in the common TV room in the evening. *We had a medical emergency at 2 am and they arranged for a jeep to a visit to their in house Dr, it was sorted and taken care of promptly and appropriately. Highly appreciated!* IMPECCABLE Definitely going back. Surely visiting their other properties!!!!

20 air-conditioned luxury suites with attached dressing rooms and elegant western wash rooms. In addition to the conventional wash rooms each suite has its own open-to-sky shower area, verandah and small courtyard.
I recently stayed at the Aranyak Resort and had the most amazing time!! The food is delicious, pool is beautiful, and the location is so close to the Bandhavgarh National Park. Above all that, the staff is so accommodating. Specifically, Rishi, one of the head staff members, helped us with every request we had for him. He even helped us have a poolside buffet with decorations for one of our friend’s birthdays. I would 100% recommend this resort to anyone traveling throughout India.
