Since the redevelopment of the Inner Harbor in the late 1970s, Baltimore has set the standard for urban renewal. While a good part of the city's action centers around the fun and festive Harbor area, where street entertainers, open-air concerts, fireworks and parades abound, the surrounding neighborhoods offer all sorts of interesting landmarks, unique shops and delicious restaurants. Wander around Fells Point, the oldest section of Baltimore, reminiscent of an old English village, complete with pubs and cobblestone streets. Take the kids to the aquarium and check out the imaginative creations at the American Visionary Art Museum. Or stop by the Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum for an in-depth look at the Great Bambino's life. Baltimore is also renowned for its African-American heritage sites, plus festivals and cultural events that take place throughout the year. From historic places and harbor cruises to family friendly attractions and fabulous neighborhoods, Charm City is one of the top tourist destinations in the United States.

I had a conference in Baltimore for a few days a couple of weeks ago, and The Royal Sonesta was perfect. My room had such a great view of the Harbor! My amazing experience can be attributed to the great customer service provided by the staff as well as Ms Annette. She worked diligently to make sure my needs were met during my stay and she did it with a smile! A true asset to the team there!

We were here for relaxation from after our wedding and Damar was our server- he was so gracious and kind. Justin, after finding out we were married on Sunday June 5th, wanted to offer us a champagne toast. Overall, all of the staff at the Sagamore Penryn has been wonderful.

The lobby was ok, the hallway warm, the room was ridiculous. They brought us and our family (in an adjoining room) fans to cool us down. We were advised to keep the blinds closed (after paying a premium for a water view room). Total waste of money.

I was in town for a convention for five days and everything was great. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Checking out, I dropped a bag of items in the parking lot with high value items and luckily an employee found it and turned it in. After calling in, Ms. Tia and Ms. Trudy went above and beyond to locate my items and made sure to mail them out in a timely matter. Would love to come back and visit!

Cleanliness is not next to godliness in this hotel. Shower dirty with hair in shower. Bathroom floor has hair on it. Toe nails on carpet with other mystery debris and trash. All mirrors were dirty. Room has a strange odor. Very disappointing for a hotel that seems to get good reviews. Makes you wonder if they are legitimate. We stay only in Hilton brands and this is one of the dirtiest we have stayed in. Breakfast buffet was out of a lot of items. If you are staying by Camden yard or Inner Harbor. TRY SOMEWHERE ELSE.
