My husband and I stayed two nights travelling through to Queensland. The suite we had was decorated with a very tropical theme. The grounds were also very tropical. Lovely pool area (although the weather didn’t invite swimming). Very happy to have great water pressure for in the shower. The location of the motel was convenient. The owner was really friendly and made us feel very welcome. Would stay again if travelling through

Fabulous location, located close to the city centre and the river. The local swimming pool and waterslides are also close by if you don't wish it use the pool onsite. Although we didn't get to use it, it was clean and looked incredibly inviting. Staff were lovely: providing us with additional towels without us requesting this service. There is an onsite kitchen that can be used that included a Weber BBQ and space to store your food and perishables in the fridge. Although we were out for most of the time that we were in Ballina, it is a comfortable and inviting place to stay.

Ramada Hotel & Suites has 115 rooms consisting of hotel spa rooms, 1 and 2 bedroom suites and 2 and 3 bedroom penthouses, all with modern, stylish decor and all the facilities you would expect from an international class hotel.
Walked in for a little light lunch and drink. Stood at the ‘Please wait to be seated’ sign for five minutes being ignored, approached a young girl and told her I would sit down outside and wait till she was ready to take my order, waited another 10 minutes and caught another waitress’s eye to be told to “order at the bar”, approached bar, waited another five minutes and decided that the Ramada didn’t deserve my money today! So disappointing as I usually get good service here during the week. I’m now sitting at a beautiful table down the road at the fantastic Wharf Restaurant, with great service :)

Our 4th stay here and yet another very pleasing experience. Always get a warm welcome at reception. We arrived late afternoon, after a long drive from Sydney. The TV was not working and reception had closed for the day. I left a message on the reception answering service. Within a couple of minutes, Ali called me, apologised and advised Brendon would attend to it within the hour. When we returned to our room from dinner, the TV had been replaced and was fully operational. Our room here was very comfortable; clean, quiet, spacious with everything needed for an overnight stop over. On line booking and check in is hassle free, good location, (opposite the RSL) and prices are very reasonable. We’ll be back and highly recommend you stay at Ballina Heritage Inn.

I was greeted by a lady in reception who was funny and extremely helpful (sorry cannot remember her name). The room was nicely renovated, bed was super comfy and I slept like a log. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip through Ballina.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but their lunches are delicious. My husband was more than happy with his $10 rump steak meal, while I just loved my haloumi burger. It was so filling and delicious I forfeited the lovely toasted bun and seasoned chips to make sure I had room for the rest. Tasty!!

Travelling with two dogs is never easy but everything about our stay here was made seamless and painless by the absolutely amazing Kiv. The room was clean and fresh and all of the staff were very friendly. The Homestead is only two blocks walk to the Cherry Street Sports club which had great food and facilities. On your room key ring I got a club card to present for members discounts at the club which is just one more favourable factor in choosing to stay here. At the Homestead Cafe I had a fantastic breakfast, coffee and then takeaway coffee for my onward journey. Once again served by Kiv along with Nikki. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone and everyone. Who knows you may even be fortunate enough to meet Kiv who appears to do everything and be everywhere.

The northern rivers region has had a tough few years. Floods, Covid, floods and again.. floods. You could understand if people were tired and short of patience in these situations but.. from the moment I arrived here everyone of the staff were smiles and welcoming . They cannot do enough to assist their guests and are happy to be available. The hotel is clean and comfortable and has all that the average traveller would need. Housekeeping daily and they clean everything . Whilst I was the guest here, it was my privilege to stay. Supporting small regional business is important but to support one that gives 100% to service is a rare treat and I enjoyed my stay.
