Volveremos !

Simba Safari Camp is a safari accommodation on the border of Queen Elizabeth National Park and only 2 km from the equator. Located on a hill it offers spectacular views of Lake George, the Kazinga Channel and the savannah plains teemed with wildlife. The camp offers 11 spacious rooms with en suite facilities and private verandas, as well as 4 dormitory rooms and a campsite. A restaurant and well-stocked bar are also available.
I stayed at Simba Safari on a last minute stop with a friend. The accommodation is comfortable and spotlessly clean. The pool is a great bonus too! The staff were very friendly and accommodating and were able to arrange a comprehensive safari trip at short notice. The food is excellent - a very tasty three courses served after a long day on safari. We had a wonderful time! Thanks Simba!

A budget friendly hostel with clean, comfortable rooms, on site restaurant, and beautiful views! Nestled in Western Uganda, with easy access to Queen Elizabeth, Murchison Falls, the Rwenzori Mountains, chimp trekking, and gorilla trekking.
I absolutely recommend Yes Hostel. There’s nothing I found disappointing. The dormitory rooms are clean, the food is very tasty, and the staff members are very friendly. There is hot water in the shower rooms and free soap and towels. And all of this for a very affordable price.

I chose the cheapest room option which meant I slept in the basement. I paid 40k (room only). The only downside was that there was no natural light so I overslept. Light bulb wasn't working and staff didn't seem bothered about replacing it. I checked in at 11 p.m. so I guess she must have been asleep. Plenty of hot water. Bed and linen and mosquito net fine. Didn't try TV or internet. #diaryofamuzungu #ExploreUganda #EastAfricaTravelDirectory #Mbarara

Mooie kamer met terras. Prachtig uitzicht. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Beste prijs te boeken bij hotel zelf. Boekingssite Agoda was bijna twee keer zoveel. Nooit boek ik nog via Agoda. Hotel is goed gelegen als doorreisadres. Geen mening over ligging tov het centrum van Mbarara.

Murchison Backpackers is a social hostel that runs in a restored colonial-style estate, perfectly located in the heart of Masindi, a town central to the mighty Murchison Falls and many of Ugandan’s Western tourist attractions. If you are looking to meet fellow travelers from all around the world, or simply want to stay comfortably in a hostel with character and several options for accommodation, come and join us!
After a long bus ride, I was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful rustic house! May and her team became good friends and provided outstanding service! The room was clean and very spacious. I have been traveling in Uganda for a month and this has been my favorite stay. May even helped me plan my transportation to my next destination! The food is very good and breakfast is included! It’s about 30 minutes from Murchison falls park, but I preferred staying in town. I will stay here again when I come back in June. Thanks for everything May! See you all very soon.

It is a traveler,s accommodation for those on bugdet and staying longer in Kabale.Right in the best location and easy to do shopping and the rest. With great information about Uganda and Rwanda tours. Kabale Backpackers links you with the community activities one would wish to participate into. Tree planting is an on going activity for any visitor that wants too. While at Kabale Backpackers, there are a number of activities and tours offered. 1 day Gorilla trekking,2 days Chimp trekking,3 days Queen Elizabeth National Park for a safari,1 day to Kigali genocide memorial and city, 2 days Lake Mburo National Park , 2days Volcanic hiking, 2days Golden monkey, 1 day to Kisiizi Falls, 1 day to Lake Bunyonyi and Batwa community, Walking in the community by visiting the iron smith and more that one may think of ranging from an hours activity to a real days safari to great destinations in Uganda and Rwanda. Staying at Kabale Backpackers with the great coffee, you can have a coffee tour .
We were suprised checking that they tremendously raised their rates within the last two years, however, we decided to stay for one single night. Unfortunately, there was no water at all which we were told after checking in.. Additionally, (maybe not always the case) there was a huge party going on in the neighbourhood which made us staying awake the whole night. Food was okay, though. To be honest: guess there are bether options in this price category!

i might be Bias a bit in this review because Anne Kansiime is a friend, but am gonna try my best! If you like a "modern" hotel with the international standards, then this is not the place for you!! if you are looking for an authentic place, where you feel everything was been "worked on" and not bought then come try it! From birdnest resort you take a 3 minutes boat ride to the Kansiime backpakers, you can even see it from birdnest, just facing it. the place is so colorful, other than the flowers scattered around, every chair has a different color, every room is painted in a color, nothing is just on "standard" color or shape, everything is different, every room has a shape, color... our room was the "cave", a real cave, you can't walk inside but you have to kneel down to enter it! a great idea! inside it is dark though, generator will be on from 7 to 10 pm, after they will give you 3 lanterns. it is a the end of the Kansiime backpackers, so i guess it is the one for the couples! no windows on the lake, so the challenge in it that it is really dark! you need to come prepare, we had our power banks to charge our phones which we used their lights. the customer care was so good actually, we only had breakfast, we came at 5pm and we left in the morning. at around 6pm, my wife and I went all the way down and chilled on the lake on the chaises longues they had, it was a very nice experience, we stayed up to 9:30pm, just next to the water, it was worth it. just prepare yourself that it will be cold! the temperature was around 15 degree Celsius. the challenge we have was darkness in our room, other rooms had windows facing the lake, so in the morning the light will go in, in our case we had to open the small door to let the light goes in. all in all, it was a "weird?" nice experience.
