The Chalés Céu e Mar, a hostel, or “Chalé” in Portuguese, was created in 2007 to provide excellent and comfortable lodging in a beautiful, natural setting. Our goal at the Chalés Céu e Mar (Sky and Sea Hostel) is to provide unforgettable memories within a comfortable, home-like environment, and to surpass all your getaway expectations.The Chalés, divided into two neighboring spaces, is comprised of 14 apartments, each of which accommodates 4 to 6 people comfortably. An apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom, and laundry space. One bedroom contains sofa beds, a ceiling fan, and a flat screen TV, with 21 available channels. The second bedroom provides a double bed, a sofa bed, and a ceiling fan. In the room and the bathroom there are screens on the windows. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric appliances: microwave, stover, refrigerator and kitchen utensils. The bathroom has a great shower and an extra washbasin is provided for your convenience in the hallway.In addition to the residential accommodations, we also offer swimming pool, picnic spaces, showers and bathrooms. We do not offer meals. You have a varied choice of eating establishments through Chalés Céu e Mar partnerships with the Restaurant and Pizzeria Mar Virado. This restaurant within 150 meters of the hostel, offering special discounts for all guests of the Chalés. We don’t receive pets and do not provide bed linens, table and bath sponge, detergent or toilet paper in chalets, only in common areas. The voltage is 220 volt. We are a family run hostel and pousada infront of the beach and have been open for 15 years. The guests are made to feel at home as we have a humble place that was built slowly over the years with a lot of blood, sweat and tears so it does have a soul to it with birds and rabbits been part of the family. .We will do our best to guide you on what ever you want to do during your stay. The hostel/pousada is in a cheap, residential eating area so you can see the true Brazilian way of life as it is compared to the down town tourist part. Bicycles are the main form of transport and there are cycle tracks that will take you all over town and to a lot of the surfing beaches. Trails, bike hire, surf boards, can be arranged by us. Only the four more expensive sea view suites are a good size with a big veranda, a hammock and table. The suite has a fridge, TV, fan and sleeps up to four people.The other rooms are smaller basic economic suites do not have all creature comforts.There are photos when booking. We have a kitchen area to use connecting to the lounge. We have 101 beaches to choose from with most of them being in a protected rain forest reserve. We take guests out on day trails to visit the rain forest and its native people. Surf boards and bikes can also be hired. The cycle track in front of the property will take you downtown and to 5 other beaches in the south.
