I stayed in a 8 person female room with two friends. Overall not a great experience. Creepy neighborhood, we need not feel safe walking around. Weird drunk men, definitely wouldn’t want to walk around alone (as a woman). The people in our room were a bit loud. A previous hostel I stayed at had blackout curtains around each bunk which was great—here there is nothing like that so if light/noise bothers you sleeping is not great, not very restful. The storage for bags is awkward and very loud to open and close. Bring your own locks/towels/shampoo. The blanket was very thin and not large enough (I am pretty short too, 5’4”). People talked a lot at night which made it harder to sleep.

A new generation hostel situated in the heart of Lyon. You will be able to reach Bellecour square, the city centre, in 10 minutes by walk. We welcome travelers from all over the world in our comfortable and stylish hostel designed by local architect and artists. We provide private double rooms but also small capacity dorms for more intimacy. You will be able to enjoy our wine bar and gastronomic specialities from Lyon. After a long day visiting Lyon, meet fellow travelers and just relax in our private and sunny patio. At night we also provide dinners 100% from Lyon. In our hostel, traveling is not a question go age but a state of mind. We will make you discover Lyon differently !
I had a really great stay in this hostel, it’s only a 5 minute metro ride from Gare Part Dieu and close to the metro and tram stops to get to the main sites of Lyon, many are also within walking distance. The staff were really helpful, especially one of the girls on reception (don’t know her name) who pointed out all the important places and things to do in Lyon for me which was super helpful. I stayed in a room of 6 which was spacious enough and had lockers which were big enough for a backpack but not enough for a big rucksack. The shared bathrooms were clean and I didn’t have to wait long if at all. The only issue is that because the bunks are wooded, they were very noisy any times anyone moved at all in bed. Overall, I found the hostel to be great value and would definitely stay here if visiting Lyon again.

Friendly and helpful staff, nicely decorated hostel, nice breakfast (but could be 5 euros instead), nice rooms but neighborhood a bit noisy. Great for exploring Lyon as everything is close by. Would recommend to other travelers!

Charming house in the heart of the vineyards located at 5 Kilometers of Villefranche sur Saône, near the A6 motorway, offers two guest rooms overlooking the park of 3 hectares with pond and tennis court.
Nous avons été merveilleusement accueillis par Jean. La propriété et le domaine sont très charmants et au calme. Literie très confortable. Le petit déjeuner avec le panier de viennoiserie est à la hauteur de ce cadre somptueux! L’hôte a d’excellents conseils restaurants! Merci encore. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet endroit.

we only stayed for one night. It is clean, free breakfast was good. Nice and sweet service at the front desk. Cons: our room is located right next to a bar which was playing loud music till late night. Otherwise comfortable beds, clean bathrooms.

New hostel in Lyon, eco-friendly and cosy! It's also many events (concerts, movies...) for a new experience of travelling! See ya!
My experience is very positive. The hostel is quite easy to find provided you enter the address in Google maps manually, but be ready to walk 1 h from the train station Lyon Part Dieu. I only had a backpack, so I enjoyed the walking and the chance to see a little bit of the city. Since this is a hostel, my accommodations were in a big living room. The nice surprise was curtains that separate each bed from the rest of the room. Quite cozy and comfortable, especially for introverts like me. Another nice surprise was a free shop where the visitor can take or leave something for others. I also liked the friendly staff, the music in the common room and the food and drinks available at the bar.

Refait a neuf,Accueil sympathique, Plat du jour et barbecue, Plats variés avec des salades variées et sympathiques. Jolies terrasses, Rapide si besoin et Idéal le midi. Toilettes propres. Patron un peu bourru mais attachant

Our flight got delayed and therefore had to stay a night near the airport. This was the cheapest at about £33 for 2. It's not a particularly pleasant place but will do for one night. It is in an industrial area and therefore has a lot of trucks leaving the area throughout the night. I would never go back there but if you are desperate and need somewhere to sleep for cheap then go for it. Our friends weren't pleased with it and even blocked their door with suitcases to stop any unwanted visitors. It's shares toilets and showers if that worries you
