The personel where very friendly and helpfull, the owner always around making shure everything was perfect! She's a very nice and special woman. Its an old house and the bedrooms were quite big, the bathrooms were mantained very clean. Nice kitchen and great breakfast with fresh fruits, egs, ham, bread, cakes, juice! They also offer a menu to have lunch or dinner, and the food its fresh and offer a really god quality-price relation. Nice patio, with a lot of things to do, swiming pool, pingpong, couches, etc!!! It has a tv room and a reading place with a lot of interesting books! If I have to come back to palmeiras i'd probably go to the same place!!!

Villa Bella - comfort and fair price! Located on the banks of the Black River in Palmeiras. Options of private suites with balcony and large rooms. In addition to the breakfast full breakfast, made with care and taste of the Chapada Diamantina, we also offer: river bathing in the guesthouse background, wi fi, transfer from the bus palm trees, snack for track, closed parking, organization itineraries and tours with local and experienced guides, car rental and bike. Palmeiras is one of six counties that make up the Chapada Diamantina National Park. Incidentally, the headquarters of the Park is in the city of Palmeiras! The city retains the character of a small town in the interior of Bahia and has a strategic geographical position to know the main attractions of the northern part of the National Park and Diamond Circuit. Palmeiras municipality is the land of Pai Inácio Hill - one of the most famous postcards of Bahia! - And the second largest waterfall in Brazil: Waterfall of Smoke! And the prodigious list continues: Caeté-Açu (also famous as Capão Valley), Fenced Valley, Hill Calumbi (also known as Camel Hill), Morro do Selim (also known as Morrão), town of Conception of cats and a waterfall of Boa Vista, Aguas Claras, Riachinho Waterfall, Waterfall Black River, Waterfall of the wheels, the Twenty-A Waterfall, Waterfall Purification, Well of Angelic Gavião Well, Valentine's Waterfall, Cave of the Impossible, Three Brothers , Morro Branco, Minas Vieira, and also the archaeological sites of rock paintings from the villages of Matao and Sierra Negra. The city of Palm and the town of St. John Campos also have well-preserved historic buildings in colonial style dating back to the period of peak prospector in the region. Among the various cultural events, Palmeiras City Carnival is considered the most excited of the Bahian interior! Religious celebrations are excellent opportunities for fun and immersion in the local culture. In particular we mention the Feast of Bom Jesus (patron of the city of palm trees), the Feast of St. Sebastian (patron of the District of Caeté-Açu), the San Antonio parties (very strong in the city of palm trees and the Cats Conception village ), St. John (much celebrated in several locations, among them the city of Palmeiras, the Caeté-Açu district and St. John Campos villages and Conception of Cats). The city also holds some fizzy cultural events, among them the celebrated Jazz Festivals, Blues and Reggae Capon Valley.
This was a beautiful Pousada, great family run place with helpful staff, large and clean rooms, great breakfast (they asked us each day what we liked best to be sure they had it the next morning). Its in a great location, quieter, less expensive and more peaceful than Lencois.... and be sure to check out the environmental group of Palmeiras (GAP) and their garden near by. Leide and Elaino were super helpful. Elaino is a good guide and took us on several trips to gorgeous places near by. Muito legal, bonito, muito paz e gente fina aqui. Com certeza vou voltar!

In the town of capao, close to supermarkets, craft shops, tourist agencies and cultural and social activities of vale do capao. Our hotel is welcoming, we have a trained staff ready to make you feel at home. Speak Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.
I can't even believe how lucky I am I found this place. The drive there got me there so late and everything was closed...except for here. It's in the heart of village square. They treat you like family, even made us sandwiches when we came back from adventuring. Speak English!! Very clean, quality beds. Honest. A great all-included breakfast too. Great wifi as well which is hard to find.

Banheiros, chuveiros. E os donos, Renato e Ana, super gentis! Amei a experiência, recomendo e voltaria.
