Mostly jutting northward from its largest city of Amsterdam and its capital of Haarlem, the Noord-Holland region has much more to offer beyond those two wonderful cities. At Muiden is the magnificent Muiderslot Castle, as if it stepped out of a fairy tale. Showing more wear but no less interesting is Brederode Castle at Santpoort. At Zaanstad is Zaanse Schans, one of Holland’s top tourist destinations and a family-friendly open air museum of windmills, traditional buildings, crafts and shops.

HOSPITALITY REBORN BUNK bridges the gap between hotels and hostels by combining affordable luxury Rooms and smartly designed private Pods. We converted two monumental churches into meeting places for travellers, locals and artists alike. We host inclusive social events in our sustainable restaurant and our other communal spaces. Our aim is to redefine hospitality by creating a place for communal wonderment. BUNK is where those who wander will start to wonder, triggered by true art, honest food and sincere smiles. Where comfort and design are available to everyone, without the need for deep pockets. Where you can feel free to be your wonderfully weird self as you play your part in stories you take home with you.
We stayed 6 nights in a room with a bathroom. It is small, but we were expecting it. Room temperature was a little too hot to our liking and we couldn’t figure out how the A/C unit we seemed to have worked. Also, shower overflowed to the rest of the bathroom even when the door was shut properly. Otherwise, good location for the price, 10 min walk to metro and groceries stores and about 20 min walk to the free ferry going to Amsterdam Centraal.

We love hostels because of their communal feel and hotels because of their privacy. At CityHub, we combined the two: more than enough ways to mingle AND your very own, private cabin. We call those cabins Hubs.
The staff at CityHub were very lovely, friendly and approachable. The rooms and facilities were very clean and exactly what you expect when you book. Checking in was really easy and we were allowed to store our bags before check in and after check out. The room was small which is expected and perhaps a bit squished for us if we were to stay longer than a night but that's just our preference. You can control the music and lights in the hub using your phone which was cool. The toilets and showers were very clean and nicely decorated. They have a lovely communal space where you can use the bar and seating area.

Our unique location offers everything for a perfect stay in Amsterdam. We are situated in the beautiful Vondelpark near the Leidseplein entertainment area. The three major and best known museums in Amsterdam (the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum & Stedelijk Museum) are within 5 minutes walking distance. We offer plenty of activities for exploring the city. A free daily walking tour which is great to meet others travelers and to get inside information about Amsterdam. Or rent a Stayokay City bike and discover Amsterdam by yourself. The famous Canal Belt is best to be explored during a canal cruise. Enjoy great food & drinks offers in our bar dur one of the themed bar nights. We look forward to seeing you soon; Welcome in Amsterdam!
I loved this place! We had a private room, which looked like it had just been renovated. High ceiling, lots of natural light, comfortable bedding, clean and modern bathroom and shower. The common spaces were also very tastefully decorated. We only tried the breakfast, which was fine, nothing spectacular, but really ok. The location, inside Vondelpark, could not be better, both in itself and as regards accessibility from the airport and walking distance to everything in the centre.

ClinkNOORD is just a short journey from Amsterdam Central Station. The hostel mixes Dutch style with creativity and modern comforts, providing curious travellers with a unique and fun place to stay and socialise and the perfect place from which to explore all that Amsterdam has to offer. Beautiful features from the original 1920's building have been enhanced whilst creating relaxing social areas, a plant-filled atrium, a café, a library, a bespoke self-catering kitchen where guests can make and share food, and flexible spaces for meetings and events. ZincBAR puts on regular live music, DJs and performances. Tickets for attractions and tours are also available in the hostel. Staff are friendly, multi-lingual and always in the know about all things 'Dam' related. They'll be keen to help you get the most out of your stay. Accommodation includes a mix of private and state-of-the-art dormitories, many with stunning views of the city, river, waterways or the surrounding parkland.
First, we wanted to check in quickly for a wedding. It took 45 min to check in… the workers seemed in no rush even though there was a long queue. Second, the late check-in is more expensive that it says on the website. (6,50). The next morning the cleaners still came inside our room at 10 even though we paid dor the late check-in, the same happened to my brothers’ room. Quite embarrassing. Also, my parents wanted to have breakfast earlier and they also paid for the late check-in but they were locked outside their room because the code of the door didn’t work. Overall, an awful service.

Ride your bicycle along café-lined waterways, visit the most creative shops around De Pijp or just kick back by the canal and try a few cold Dutch beers. It's pretty hard to get stressed in Amsterdam, but having a good time is easy. Generator Amsterdam is located in the up-and-coming eastern side of the city overlooking Oosterpark. This former zoological university building can accommodate 602 guests in 168 double king beds, twins and quadruple rooms with incredible views on the surrounding and en-suite bathrooms. There is also one luxury apartment for six people with views of the park and a self-catered kitchen. It has flexible and spacious social areas, filled with creative design touches like glass-fronted elevators, a raised café and an outdoor terrace. We've turned the former lecture hall into an impressive chill-out lounge and bar, while the old library is now a relaxation and private events room. The basement and café are now dining destinations and the original boiler room has become a secret late night bar.
Clean, friendly staff, respectful guests, good location outside of main city so although there is a great buzz in the hostel it's not noisy at night as the rooms are very well insulated. Bed was comfortable. Not much space in the shared rooms to move around in so keep this in mind - i only stayed a few nights and it was great. Any longer and i may have wanted more space.

Sleep comfortable, undisturbed and affordable during your stay in Amsterdam. Each cube has a double bed, integrated storage and enough space for two guests. The bathrooms that are separated between men and women are stocked with luxury products. They are also designer, stylish and clean. After refreshing in the shower, you are ready for a city stroll. We provide 24/7 guidance by our digital host. This way you always have a city guide in your pocket everywhere you go! THIS Ho(s)tel is situated in the city center of Amsterdam. Central station is only a 2 minute-walk away, that means you can be very fast at our location from the airport by train. We are located on top of a Mexican restaurant named Fiona, where you can chill and get a drink. Restaurants, bars and shops are located around the corner. Famous sightings like the Anne Frank House and the Dam are just a walk away. THIS is your perfect getaway!
The location is great, but the tiny rooms can be quite claustrophobic. I couldn’t sleep well… maybe dust. Nevertheless, the bathrooms are clean and spacious and the self check in and out is super handy. They have one bathroom by floor and it’s either a female or male bathroom, so remember that when you book your room.

One of the biggest hostels in Amsterdam is located in the lovely Indische Buurt! Just fifteen minutes away from the city centre you will find everything you need in this area! Join our happy hour in the bar, enjoy your breakfast, lunch or diner in our restaurant or ask reception for directions or for our presale tickets! We are proud to be rewarded the Ecolabel for environment friendly measurements we have taken over the past few years!
This hostel was beautiful, clean, lots of space and nice little bar/cafe. Unfortunately every time we went to the reception we were met by awful, rude staff. When we stayed there it was very warm and the windows could not open very much making the room heat unbearable at times - We asked for a fan at reception are were told they was none left as they had already all been handed out, so we asked if we could maybe move room...or at the very least get some sort of discount as we could not bear to spend time in the room unless for sleeping. We were told no and given zero solution. I would never go back here, such a shame because everything else was good.

What a wonderful friendly welcome. Great food and drink and a large comfy bed in a double room (the traditional bedstede room). We stayed for 4 nights, and we’re lucky to be there for Kings Day. Great location. Haarlem is a beautiful medieval city, not too far away from Amsterdam and the lovely coast. There’s a very fast express electric bus to Haarlem from the airport. We will definitely return to this hostel for it’s cleanliness, warm welcome, good atmosphere and great rooms.
