Located near the seaport, airport, and within the growing foodie district of Piapi in Dumaguete City, Casa Arrieta is your perfect Dumaguete home. Go on a food crawl in every direction, relax and recharge in nearby spas, or cross the street to see one of Dumaguete's holiday attractions -- the Dumaguete Christmas House. There is definitely something for everyone!
Stayed here for a night but it felt like home with the convenience of a hostel. Greeted by the host who gave a quick tour of the place and escorted me to my room. She even shared her number so I can reach out directly to her should I need anything. She even opened the gate in the wee hours of day because she knew I was leaving that early. Bed was comfortable clean (even covered by plastic to prevent dust etc). My space had hostel usuals of outlet, lamp, a small shelf to put stuff on. Its mess hall felt like a true home kitchen too as you're free to use their cups as long as you clean them after. Location-wise, it's in a quiet street but close enough (within walking distance or quick tricycle ride) to the port and restaurants.

We went for dinner with family and we opted this one out of the many in Dauin because they are pet friendly. The social media managers are very much responsive and helpful during our inquiries, the food was decent although there are no seafood because they are fighting for a cause, and the ambiance is just to relaxing because it is facing the beach. I would wanna go back again soon maybe for an overnight stay or so.

A small beautiful beach resort 35 minutes drive from Dumaguete city, the perfect place to spend your holiday or just a day trip with friends and family.
Location is great, facilities are clean and appealing. The restaurant was not good for the western dishes that I ate as well as the couple joining us. The front desk made it quite clear that check out was at 12. No late check out. No putting our bags in our car and using the facilities. (which was a good thing based on the food) in all fairness our wives enjoyed the food they had which was local dishes. My friend and I are not new to the Philippines. I have lived here 5 years and he has been here 10. We have been to many resorts on various islands including the one we live on. We stayed at the resort next door 1 month ago and it was excellent. I really wanted this place to be as good. Unfortunately I was disappointed and never felt welcome at all.

It's a chic hostel that's located within a few minutes tricycle ride from port and boulevard. Not as centrally located as other places across the boulevard but close to places for food and drinks. Stayed in a shared room. Place kept clean, bed spacious and has extra room for all your other stuff. Has comfortable common areas where you can rest / hang-out and even take Instagrammable photos. Other extras they provide is free water from a dispenser and a place for hanging your wet clothes Only downside is there was temporarily no water during my stay there.

Never having tried this hotel before, we opted to stay here for a night. Besides, we like the convenience of a free breakfast and the room rates are quite affordable. But despite its strategic location, comfy pillows (P50/extra piece), functioning water heater, refurbished bathroom, superb Essenso coffee and courteous staff, the hotel as a whole, does need a major top-to-bottom overhaul. Parking can also be a problem. Our stay was alright (or pwede na), but the experience was somewhat underwhelming.

Dumaguete Dormitel is located at BT Locsin Bldg Beside Silliman University Catering to different stay periods such as Long term ( yearly contract) , Short term (Monthly), and Transient ( daily)
