Located in San Agustin heights, Masaya San Agustin is an ecohostel offering private rooms or shared dorms in ecological cabins. The hostel has amazing view to the Magdalena canyon. It features also bar, restaurant, social areas, jaccuzis, coffee plantations, miradors, movie room or permaculture facilities. Hikings, ecological and cultural activities are some of the options offered by Masaya.
The stay at Masaya was outstanding. The room and bed were very nice and the view from the terrace was spectacular! The bar and restaurant were also excellent. They had an extensive and very good wine selection. The walk to rooms could be difficult for those with disabilies. Wish we could have stayed more than 1 nighr!

we have comfortable rooms. rooms for shared use. Clean facilities with home heat.
I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone. The host Julian is really helpful and goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable. He helped us with bags, booked taxis and was always there to help with anything in general. Me and my friend stayed here two nights in between going to the Tatacoa desert and it was the perfect pit stop to break up the journey. You also have access to the kitchen and breakfast is included which is always nice. The host Julian makes this hostel and we felt very comfortable with minimal Spanish. I never write reviews on here so it’s a credit to him.

A perfect location, Hospedaje El Turista is on main street of San Agustin. The small door will take you to a reception, the owners are the one who help us when we arrived, but no word of English, you’ve been warned :) We have two night stay with them, the first night we were the only guest in house. We had our room downstairs which was easy if you carrying suitcase The room is very simple with two single beds, television, no closet or hangers, we have free wifi in room or in lobby. The bathroom is basic at least with hot water shower. They arrange tours as well, we let them book a horse ride tour to see archaeological site. They have plenty of rooms all rooms are all the same size except for single occupant. As I mentioned the location is on the center where shops, restaurants, and ticketing office for bus. A very convenient place to stay in San Agustin if you don’t mind a simple room. For the price of 15 euro per night booked by booking.com is good enough for us,

We offer nice and confortable rooms a very competitive prices, our Hotel is located three blocks away from the main Park of San Agustin Town Centre.
We spent three nights here and loved it. Arturo and his family are so friendly and welcoming, and they really look after you. We got coffee to our door every morning (in addition to the breakfast, which is included), they did our massive pile of laundry, gave us great advice on what to do in the area and booked our onward travel for us. We had a room on the first floor which had a nice view of the hills and was very reasonably priced (60,000 pesos - about £15). There's a large common area where you can sit and read etc. The place is cleaned all the time and is immaculate.

What a wonderful hotel, the people are friendly and courteous. The room was clean, comfortable and with minimalistic decor. We had and event with 8 people and the space we used was prefect for our event. Only one thing to improve: lunch took more time than usual
