Aark is conveniently located for sightseeing. The hostel is within a 10-minute drive from Anmock Beach and the famous coffee street along the beach. Offer sanitarian quilt cover, bed sheet, pillow case and towels.

Reviewed By David BI only discovered Aark House the previous night in a last minute panic for accommodation in Gangneung. The directions from the bus terminals Tourist Info (bus via Jeongdongjin train station) were extremely easy to follow, and it was easily within a 15 minute walk. Okju's warm personality and accommodation made me extremely happy in the short time I got to spend with her and her family. She is a very talented artist and the Korean breakfast absolutely hit the spot. I had a great sleep in the 2 bed room, and the whole experience at Aark House was very warm and humbling. I can't recommend enough.

A creative and sustainable community hostel by the sea
Reviewed By Kotryna MPerfect location, fun activities, bar, cool staff and creative atmosphere. Everything is in a walking distance (or bicycle). The beaches are pristine and beautiful. Perfect location, right next to the beach. There's also a lot of fun activities to do like kayaking, surfing, snorkeling, bicycling etc. The town is super small and cozy, a hidden gem with interesting sightseeing spots for BTS and k-drama fans. It's a good place for solo travelers, there's always some social event going on at the Redo hostel or bar. It's like a community of backpackers, so you'll meet all kinds of people from all over the world and make new connections. Also, if you're creative or would like to learn more about sustainable life-style, you can become a volunteer. The Redo pub is connected to the main building, a place for socializing and fun during the night. The room upstairs overlooks the sea and has a selection of books for some quite time. There's something for everybody :) You can go around the area with a bicycle from he hostel or walk. There are also buses running, but I never really needed to use one. The hostel owner can explain how to go to any further place you might want to go.

Gangnueng Station Guesthouse will be ideal place who are looking for calm and peaceful place. We are not going to make a party but love to have a cup of tea or coffee with small talk. Yes, we have some distance from beach but very close with local life, and good public transportations are available. You can go almost of Hot places in Gangneung by public buses. And by foot, you can visit local market and downtown. The Gangneung Train Station is under construction (re-building until 2017) anyway we are just few steps away from the Train Station. If you are going to travel by train, the shuttle bus to Jeong Dong Jin Station is available. We are not going to make a full book, if we are going to accept all the book, we will earn money but will lost chance to be your friend. We prefer a small group to make a good relationship with guests. Please note there is no allocated parking but you can park your car around guest house as locals are doing. Due to some stairs, please only book if you are able with stairs. I will more than happy to help you throughout your stay with any questions you might have, I'm ready to guide you around Gangneung and beyond. See you !

Reviewed By marijansesveteHoon helped me calling info at the railway, at the port and on any other case he showed himself as good host. He spent a lot of god time on fixing my problems and explaining how to reach places of intetest. Anyway the place is good: silent at night, breakfast is good etc. I had private room for good price. I recomend this place!

Reviewed By ALI-ATSUSHI始めての海外旅行で緊張をしていましたが、このホテルのお陰で楽しくできました。 このホテルはパブストリートから10分程度のところにあり、静かに快適に泊まることが出来ました。近くにもセブンイレブンや格安のレストランがあったので良かったです。なにより、ホテルの内装が南国に来たような作りでとてもきれいでした。寝室も同じような南国テイストの部屋でテンションが上がります。バスタブも金粉でデコレーションしていてきれいでした。 朝御飯はたくさんの種類がありそこから選ぶスタイルです。それとは別にビュッフェもあり、生搾りのパインジュースはとても美味しいです。 スタッフも新味になって旅行の計画の相談に乗ってくれれて、早朝のアンコールワットを見れてとても満足です。 総評ですが一泊3000円ほどで泊まれてここまでの待遇は最高にコスパがいいのてお勧めです！！

Reviewed By soundwoo강문 해변 바로 코 앞이라 해수욕하거나 바다 조망을 좋아하는 사람이라면 추천한다. 주인도 친절한 편이고, 바로 근처에 카페랑 횟집도 많다. 올림픽 기간에 방문해서 평수기 요금이 어떤지는 확실치 않다. 순두부 거리까지는 걸어서 10-15분 정도면 갈 수 있다.

平昌五輪で利用☆彡
Reviewed By ykyk2014平昌五輪のフィギュアスケート観戦のため利用しました。 予約の段階で、ありえないほどの”オリンピック価格”でした。オリンピックも間近になり価格が落ち着いたところで予約取り直しましたけど｡｡それでも通常のドミトリー3泊にしてはありえない強気価格でした(;^ω^) 部屋自体は清潔に保たれており、ルームメイトの人達も目的が同じという事で仲良くなれました。オリンピックのボランティアもやってる大学生みたいな男の子達が主に働いていました。簡単な朝食付き(チェックアウト日にやっと食べました)。 場所ですが… 江陵入りの時はオリンピック側が用意したバスが近所に停車してくれたのですが、フィギュア会場の江陵アイスアリーナからも江陵市街地からも離れており、バスもあったようですが、期間中の会場との往復はTAXIシェアにしました､､ 混雑もあるし、日によってはTAXIがなかなか捕まらず、競技や表彰式が終わってからの戻りがいつも深夜になりました。 チェックアウトしてソウル行のバスに乗る時は、またTAXIで江陵バスターミナルへ…と、その前に周辺を散歩してビーチを眺めながら、刺身、CAFEなどで時間を過ごしました。宿周辺はオリンピックでの混雑混乱が嘘かと思う位、のんびりした雰囲気でした。

We are located in Gyeongpo, Gangneung, just a minute walk away from the famous Gyeongpo Beach and 3 km away from the 2018 Winter Olympics Arena.

Reviewed By SlapheadoThis place was terrible. It was only half constructed. The beds were tiny fibreboard capsules with nails sticking through them. The place smelled terrible. There were bags of puke in the toilet. The bathroom ceiling was so low I couldn't stand. The shower was just a sink. The fire sensor was disconnected as was a light. There was no security to stop random people from entering the room. I was woken at night by a worker asking if I had a booking as someone from the night club had snuck into the room. The nightclub (in basement) toilets had no doors. The staff shouted out the password to the female dorm my girlfriend was staying in, so everyone else heard it. This is a totally kip and should be avoided.
