The Five Reasons is a new Hotel & Hostel in the center of Nuremberg directly located behind the city wall with a lovely view at the opera house. When we started in 2012 everything was refurbished and thoroughly refurnished. We emphasize a lovely athmosphere for our guests and the double rooms as well as the dorm rooms will certainly meet your needs! Every room has an oak flooring which gives the rooms a warm and cosy touch. Comfortable beds, custom made tables - we provide you with everything you need to be satisfied. In our brand new spacious bathrooms you'll find rainforest showers and specially selected beautiful tiles. You'll love to take a shower there. On the ground floor you will find the reception with the lounge where you can meet others, surf on the iPad-terminal or just have a beer or a coffee. We offer a delicious breakfast which you can book spontainiously in the morning. Moreover we have a fully equipped self-catering kitchen where you can prepare meals yourself. As well you'll find a cosy dining area with large wooden tables. Furthermore there's always someone of our staff around to help you with your questions. But enough talk, just have a look at our galleries and if you have any more questions, give us a call, write us an e-mail and then come around and discover your own five reasons.
Good location Clean Staff always on hand to help Communal area inside and outside is spacious and comfortable to relax. Hostel also sells well priced beer from the reception. Only negative, is breakfast could have a little more variety. Would recommend to any traveller.

The Babelfish Hostel is placed opposite of the main train station. We combine the comfort and amenities of a low budget hotel with the characteristic easy-going and friendly atmosphere of a backpacker hostel. You`ll find it all, single beds in dorms, private rooms as well as apartments. The relaxed and sunny roof terrace is the highlight of every summer evening.
Well, one hostel had to be worst of my trip. I just wish it hadn't been quite SO bad. I could talk about their deceptive business practices. I could talk about the horrendous customer service. I could talk about the outrageous price. Instead I'll just say this. How on earth does a hostel only open their reception between 6pm and 8pm? You literally have two hours where you're allowed to check-in. Your train arrives at 4? Tough luck, gotta wait. Had a delay and arrived 8:30? Thanks for your money, but you ain't sleeping here. They don't even have a phone number in case any of their current guests have a problem. Lost your key or someone stole your wallet in the middle of the night? Good luck finding a bench to sleep on. They say it's because of covid, but covid exists in all of Europe. Are all the other hostels in Europe also closing at 8? Right, didn't think so. The reality is that this is because the manager is a cheapskate with zero regard for their guests.

I warn and inform. There were a lot of insects - bed bugs in the rented room. Bedbugs have severely bitten my wife and me. Around 1 am we had to leave the hotel and sleep in the car. The hotel refused to pay the compensation. Only the accommodation costs were reimbursed confirming the event. I attach photos and warn you. Waldemar

We stayed in room 950 which is one of two rooms available in the top level of the tower. It’s been marvelous. We did the reservation quite a long time before our stay and asked especially for one of the tower-rooms. We really loved it.

We loved Rothenburg! Take a city tour to get your bearings and some history, then explore on your own. Walk at least a part of the wall of this Medieval walled city and take pictures of the roofs below from your elevated perch. It is a great place to soak up the local culture and just relax in the sights that abound everywhere!

Our a&o is situated just a few minutes’ walk from Nuremberg’s main railway station. Choose from among 116 single, double, family, and multi-bed dorm rooms. Light pours into the lobby, where you’ll find a well-stocked bar, tabletop football, billiards tables, and plenty of places to sit and watch Sky TV. There’s also a guest kitchen and a laundry, space for four cars, three meeting rooms, a play corner for children, and by far the most laid-back reception desk in Nuremberg.
1.Unfriendly staff, not answering to questions as I booked from booking.com and not from a&o sites. 2.Charged extra for bed linen and they asked for cash ONLY, without it they will not allow to enter room. 3.Just because the room was booked in cheap rate NO hot water in shower. 4.Shower handle was broken. 5.Electric socket on bed was broken and not functioning, ONLY 1 bed have functioning socket in 6 bed dorm. Horrible misleading ad saying charging socket in each bed. 6.Asked to checked-out at 09 AM compare to actual checkout time is 10 AM. 7.No Guest Kitchen present. 8.Staff lie on card payment machine technical issue to stick to cash payment only. I had very bad experience on this a&o hostel, I was on long trip from different locations and tired. I was expecting quick check-in without any arguments and surprise questions, but it did not happened. As staff asked me to pay bed linen or bring your own otherwise they will not allow to enter the room. I was then agree to buy the bed linen but they ONLY accepting cash, In 20th century where every advertising we are doing contactless and cashless business there people still asking for cash amount. I have to search for ATM machine with my heavy bag and paid him the amount. When I ask staff for the reason for cash alone he said it is due to some technical issue complete in Germany, He lie to me I eat lunch next to a&o restaurant Kohinoor with card payment. Request you to refund my money for which I suffer a mental agony and not able to enjoy my vacation.

I have a long relationship with the Youth Hostel in Würzburg and can wholeheartedly recommend it. The whole complex has recently been renovated and the rooms are very modern, many with shower/WC. Breakfasts and meals are *very* high quality. The "JuHe" is situated about 5 minutes walk from the Old Main Bridge, meaning that you can be in the city centre in 10 minutes max.. This really now falls into the class of a budget hotel than a hostel and it is my #1 port of call for accommodation in Würzburg.

I stayed there some nights whilst I was researching at the Universtiät Bayreuth. It was recently renewed, so the entire place looked very good. The breakfast had a varied amount of options and the hostel is located besides the university, so it is perfect if one goes to do academic work. Compared to other hostels in other cities, the prices are a little bit higher, but it is the only option in Bayreuth.

Super friendly staff, great location (just 5-10 minutes away from the city centre), and also good prices (for Nuremberg standards, as most places are very expensive and/or out of the city centre). The WiFi was excellent. The room was small with no sink/place to hang your clothes, however. I didn't mind sharing a bathroom with other guests but I think they should have been cleaned more often (more than once a day).
