Raulandsakademiet is conveniently located between Eastern and Western Norway and surrounded by impressive nature. Choose from brief walk to the lake, Totak, or longer trips (on foot or skis in the winter) toward the Hardanger plateau. We can house ca. 100 guests per night in our modest single and double rooms. Families, individuals, groups, and athletic clubs are welcome!

Anker Hostel is a modern hostel situated in the center of Oslo.8 minutes walking distance from Oslo central station.
Good location, close to the city center. Clean room. Tram station right in front of the hostel. A little fridge in the room, a big plus for me. Also there are a cooking machine and a sink. The kitchenware can be found at the reception for a 200 NOK deposit. They don't have non-stop opened reception. It is closed between 21:00-08:30. No TV in the room, but that wasn't quite a minus for me.

Open June, July, August
Lovely friendly staff. It’s a boarding school that’s used as a hotel/hostel in off school periods. This place is well priced, clean, quiet and has a beautiful view from room 7 upward. We didn’t expect breakie, but it was available! Breakfast was basic due to corona restrictions. Pool and game tables. A little coffee shop. Free parking was a bonus. If you’re visiting Oslo City, be aware it is a little bit out of the city center. Easy if you have a car. Perfect place for a bypass stop on the way up north.

Came with no expectations, but the hostel delivered good quality for money - and the view from Hovdetun was super. There was tennis courts and a nice outdoor pond to bath in with lots of opportunities for families. The breakfast was, even though it was way smaller than you get at a hotel, the best on our summer journey. Homemade scrambled eggs topped it - and possibilities to get exactly what you want at any time. The rooms though was a little bit disappointing. Lived in a small cabin, with limited possibilities for fresh air, and a bathroom that needed refurbishing. The receptionist when we came were polite and nice, and gave us a great end to our trip to Gjøvik!

Kongsberg Youth Hostel Bergmannen is a comfortable, high standard hostel with 99 beds in 25 single-, double-, and family rooms - all en suite, with TV and wireless Internet. All rooms are non-smoking. Norwegian breakfast buffet and bed linen included. Common lounges, lift, washing/drying room, guest kitchen, solarium, garden, playing areas and winter skating. Large, free parking area. The Hostel offers flexible meeting rooms for seminars and nice lounges for celebrations up to 100 persons. Bergmannen is situated in a quiet area, in the center of Kongsberg.. Close to Norwegian Mining Museum, Kongsberg baroque church, the cultural heritage of silver mining and many other attractions and activities. A perfect starting point for many interesting daytrips in a distance of 20-100 km.
There is a lot of construction happening in front of the hostel at present which I understand to be student accommodation. Our twin room was fairly plain but functional and the first job was making up the bed with the linen provided. The bathroom was tiny and larger people might have trouble closing the door when using the toilet. The room had a small TV. A decent breakfast was provided.

Modern rooms, comfortable bed, nice and decorative public areas. Good selection at breakfast. Also offers a complimentary evening meal (one day we had chicken, the other white fish). Friendly staff, some who knows the area better than others, but for leisure there’s not too much to do in downtown Kongsberg. The city probably doesn’t count on tourism as there are no buses that run to the silver mines on weekends, for instance, but the hotel was superb in arranging a ride. There’s a bar next to the reception, relaxed atmosphere. Also a bar at the great rooftop terrace. No Norwegian beers on tap. Prices start at 98NOK. If going to Kongsberg again, I would definitely stay here.

I never consider staying anywhere else anymore when coming to Tønsberg. A lovely, welcoming place, decorated with style, where Margrethe makes you feel at home. And then, there is this delicious homemade bread for breakfast !

I recommend this nice and clean hostel in the beautiful countryside. The guy who greeted us was the kindest person I've met on my tour in Norway. I was on tour with a group and he provided us several dishes and glasses of paper tableware which we then benefited us for the rest of our trip. Also I had forgotten some clothes in the bathroom and he was so kind to send them to the hotel in Bergen where we stayed in the following days. Thank you Wojciech !

Hotel right next to the viking ship in Hamar. We have rooms and apartments, in addition to lunch and dinner.
We stayed to nights in a cabin. The room was clean and inviting. Everything was good and a surprise since this is the first time I visit a hostel and I didn't expect it to be this great ?. I would rate the staff and surroundings and accommodations to 4 star's. Nice restaurant with good breakfast and lunch. Short walk to downtown. Great bed ♥️ very good value for the money. I will be back.

Frist stop on our way over the mountains, east to west. Misunderstood where the entrance to reception was (read the signs) Check in went as it should, quick and easy (booker in advance). Decent size room for 2 adults and 1 infant. The room was way too hot for us, only ventilation was through a window, could not leave that open to much or else bugs and mosquitos would occupy the room too. Clearly the electrician had just been there or not, loose OPEN wires in the bathroom, hanging cables behind the tv and across the window. Breakfast was not too much but ok. The entire establishment could improve their COVID-19 precautions, more hand sanitizer stations and warnings.
