We loved our stay at Samay Wasi. It was very homely and comfortable. I couldn’t fault the staff, always willing to help with a smile on their face. They let us hold luggage there whilst we did the Inca Trail and other excursions, making life super simple for us! James even booked us a tour to Puno and Lake Titicaca, making sure that everything was taken care of. He was always a phone call away. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you’re in Cusco. It’s inexpensive, comfortable and the staff were amazing!

Dragonfly Hostels offer unique ambiance in the historical district of Cusco and is located only 2 blocks from the Plaza de Armas. Enjoy your stay in an authentic colonial house with great facilities at affordable prices. Enjoy our barbecue nights around the bar. Welcoming staff 24h/7, Free WiFi and common areas.
Please do not stay in this hotel or hostel if you want to feel warm in your room even if you pay a room for yourself. Dormitory same. They expect you to pay extra to bring portable heaters. Im so disapointed as for them its normal no heaters. Daytime is hot but in the evening cusco is freezing.

We absolutely loved the trip and were very fortunate to get great advise and support from generous people like Hector. Muchas gracias Hector por todo lo que hiciste por nosotros!

Intro Hostels is about a social experience in an authentic and friendly place. We are located in a wonderful 300 years old renovated house, just few blocks away from the Main Plaza of Cusco we are the perfect spot to know this ancient city.
We where the first guests in the Intro Hostel after they reopened and I‘m really glad we chose this Hostel. Freddy, the part owner, was extremly helpful and welcoming. We stayed in the dorms which were clean, comfortable and they even provided a heater for the cold nights. The rooms also have a balcony with an awesome view. The location of the Hostel is really convenient and close to all the main attractions. In the mornings they make breakfast which can be diffrent every morning. One of the best parts was the restaurant. The food is amazing and they have very fair prices. I‘d always chose this hostel again.

Cook for yourself in our kitchen, or if you fancy a treat, you can try Peruvian specialities at our restaurant (yes please ceviche!), or make the most of our daily happy hour and themed parties in the bar. We've also got a terrace right in the beating heart of our hostel, where you can relax and meet the other backpackers. Location Pariwana Hostel Cusco is your gateway to Machu Picchu, and we'll help you organise a tour to the most famous spot in the country through our on-site travel agency. Some have en-suites, while others have shared bathrooms – all featuring hot showers (with great water pressure!). Bunks in the small dorms have a shelf with a plug and a reading light. And whichever room you're in, you'll also have free linen, ear plugs (no need to worry about snorers!) and secure lockers – just make sure to pack a padlock. There's satellite TV and a selection of films, as well as 24-hour reception with friendly, helpful staff. We've also got an ATM – handy if you need to top up your stash of cash!
We stayed in a private twin room. Our room was situated on the ground floor. The room was clean and bathroom was ok, showers were luke warm however. Our main gripe with this hostel was that they play terrible music really loudly throughout the courtyards all day until 10pm. It is really loud and very bassy, you can hear it very loudly in your room. This is frustrating considering some nights nobody was in the courtyards to listen to the music anyway. Also, considering that people have to get up early (4 am sometimes) for any kind of trekking or excursions, you would think they would not do this. We had another period booked at this hostel for after our trekking which we cancelled as there is no peace here.
