From flat-topped Table Mountain down to the blue waters of Table Bay, Cape Town is simply stunning, but the city doesn't thrive by its looks alone. Proudly multicultural, its flourishing arts, dining, and nightlife scenes are proof of this modern metropolis' creativity and innovative spirit.

A boutique hostel nestled in the heart of central Cape Town. We have transformed a run down building into something that is now chic and happening with rooms ranging from privates to dorms and our very own unique pod experience. We have a 24 hour front desk, concierge, great free wifi, The Honey Badger bar & restaurant, as well as On Longmarket café serving deluxe coffee and sandwiches, all right there within our building.
I enjoyed my stay at 91 Loop. The female dorm was clean and the mattress was very comfortable. The staff were amazing! I traveled solo, but they made sure I felt safe, gave me tips, and answered my many questions. The restaurant and lounging area is nothing but great vibes! Loved the music they played; I think I shazaamed the whole playlist. In walking distance to many restaurants and markets. I’ll stay again on my next trip to Cape Town.

Our famous hostel is situated right in the middle of the CBD, in the entertainment precinct of Cape Town. We have been described as 'The Soul of Long Street' (Coast to Coast). The hostel is contained in a lovely 19th Century building, at the quieter South-West end of the street, with a sunny and leafy courtyard, fantastic balconies with views onto Signal Hill and the busy streets below. We are an 'old-school' hostel and differentiate ourselves from the new generation of 'poshtels'. We are all about communalism and laid back fun and adventure. We share meals and outings together, we party together (often!!!) and we treat guests and staff alike as part of our weird and wonderful family. It is a large hostel sleeping up to 80 guests and there is never a dull moment or a day without adventure. Just remember to bring your passport with you! We take the safety and security of our guests very seriously and for that reason we must insist on ALL guests presenting valid passports to check in.
Location is perfect, almost everything you need is within a walking distance✅ The reception is open for 24hours?✅ Water in the shower is always hot✅ Nice entertainment area (Balcony and on-premises bar)✅ Enough space in the lounge✅ Stuff is very friendly and helpful❤❤✅

This hostel works very unserious. I booked a 10 days stay and an airport transfer at this place in Dec 2021. Because of Omikron I had to cancel the whole trip. Despite several emails with the request that they should refund me the transfer cost, they haven't responded to my emails and have not refunded the amount. Fortunately, I booked the accommondation through Hostelworld and received the money. From this hostel I probably would not have received the overnight costs. Everyone hast to work for their money but this hostel makes money at the expense of others. If you expect a serious service avoid this hostel.

Our backpackers lodge is situated in a converted Victorian mansion and boasts clean, comfortable rooms and handy innovations like individual reading lights, personal safes, international plug points and charging points. The sparkling pool, landscaped garden, spacious balconies and palm-fringed sundecks are great for chilling out - while our legendary Kumasi Bar is the place to party! We serve delicious meals in our bar and also have a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. We offer all accommodation options, including private, en-suite rooms in our guesthouse around the corner. Breakfast is included.
This was my first EVER stay in a backpackers hostel and believe me I was a little nervous not really knowing what to expect. However, I needn't be at all. My stay at Ashanti was great. My room was perfect, clean and tidy on arrival. The staff (Kyle) was extremely friendly and approachable. He was always on hand to offer advice about the area, the lodge and had some great tips on local places to check out. Ashanti is in a great location. It's around a 45min walk from the V&A Waterfront and only 10 minute walk from Cape Town city centre yet, its far enough away you always get a good night sleep. There are restaurants, coffee shops and and checkers 5 minute walk away. You get great views of table mountain as well. It's 10 minutes in an UBER from Camps Bay and Clifton Beaches. showers and toilets were spotless everyday. My room had a ceiling fan that was much needed in the heat and kept me cool at night. The pool was also nice to cool down and served as a great opportunity to meet other guests. I loved my stay at Ashanti and if this is what backpackers hostels are like, I am all for it. All the others certainly have some big shoes to fill to match the Ashanti. I would like to thank the entire team at Ashanti and a personal thank you to Kyle. I will be back

Great location situated at 2 Hill Road, Green Point … within walking distance of the V & A Waterfront, many shops, restaurants and the Cape Town Stadium. Accommodation suitable for a traveller seeking a Budget Bed & Breakfast destination. Wilton Lodge is also popular with groups of travellers, such as sports teams, business travellers attending training courses and tour groups. A basic continental breakfast is served in the morning. A microwave and braai (barbecue) facilities are available. The Lodge has an outdoor patio and swimming pool with a lapa. A TV with limited satellite channels is available in the communal lounge. The lounge area also has a pool table. Limited free wi-fi is easily accessible. All our rooms are comfortable in size, neat and tastefully decorated with clean, fresh linen and towels. Rooms are fully equipped with cupboard, heater, fan, safe and TV with limited channels. Parking: on site secure parking is very limited. Security: Wilton Lodge is walled / fenced with a night guard on duty from sunset to sun rise.
I came down for courses, and had to leave 06:30 to start my day. Elizabeth was absolutely incredible and always made sure she was there early to make me a full breakfast before I leave. She really went above and beyond for me! Because of her I will come back to Wilton lodge! Thank you Elizabeth!!

This is a great base from which to explore False Bay, the whale and wine routes and nature reserves. We are a quick walk from the long, famous beach, with its stretch of high rises and vibey eateries. Come relax in a tranquil garden with water features (get your zen on), a braai so you don’t get hungry, and DSTV and free wi-fi so you don’t lose touch with the unreal world.
This gem of a little guesthouse in Strand will definitely be seeing me soon again. I loved the Arabic feel of the room I stayed in. Very few guesthouses have a bathtub in the bathroom. I felt like a queen taking a bath in this one. The queen-size bed helped alot of course. This is worth a visit, whether it is for one night only or a whole weekend. I was traveling solo but taking your beloved with will make your stay extra special for both.

Our backpackers is located centrally in Cape Town, in walking distance from the V&A Waterfront and the city centre (both 10 minutes walk). We offer a great location at afforadable prices with friendly and helpful staff.
We enjoyed our stay at the Big Blue Backpackers. We were concerned about the parking but the vehicles was safe on the road as they are situated in a cul-de-sac. We went as a family of 7 got 2 family rooms and the rooms was clean. We also loved the dogs that was on the property as we have dogs as well. The staff was great from making the booking to checking out. Shoutout to Anele as he went out of his way for us. Affordable but also clean and great service.
