Small and cosy, very nice vibe
Reviewed By kanmeibanI visited Campinas during the COVID-19 height. Having read some reviews of people not being able to contact the hostel I did not book but went straight in. The owner was not there but one of the guests (his friend I guess) sent him a message and after a positive answer let me in. The hostel is actually flat with several rooms. It feels more like you are living with flatmates than other hostel guests. Given the pandemic situation I was not surprised of some inconveniences, like the lack of breakfast, no WiFi and the inoperational kitchen sink. Still the space was clean, there were towels and hot water. Although rooms face the street, it was rather quiet after 8PM. There were some guys drinking on the sidewalk during the day but they were not threatening or aggressive in any way. There is a food shop on the corner. The best feature of this hostel were the other guests. We had a very nice conversation and they were quite helpful to share their mobile internet for me to check in my flight. In times like these I think it is much more important to find humane environment rather than be pesky about details.

Excelente pousada próxima da Unicamp
Reviewed By Aldilene CA Pousada Residência Familiar tem excelente localização para quem vai para evento ou curso na Unicamp. Estive lá nesta semana e a acolhida dos donos foi muito boa, são muito solícitos e simpáticos, me deram todas as informações que precisei na cidade. O café da manhã é farto e delicioso, o quarto que fiquei tinha acomodações e camas muito confortáveis, além de escrivaninha para trabalhar e ótimo acesso à internet. Quando voltar a Campinas pretendo voltar a me hospedar nessa pousada.

Péssimo atendimento e falta de educação
Reviewed By ReguerrasFiz uma reserva e solicitei SE POSSÍVEL substituir o café da manhã (pão, frios, leite e manteiga) por frutas. Eles responderam que o café não possui acréscimos, no entanto, expliquei que não solicitei acréscimos e sim substituir por alimentos inclusive que são mais baratos, seria até mais lucrativo para eles. Mesmo com a negativa eu permaneci com a reserva e estava me programando para me virar com o café da manhã, até que 10 minutos depois eu recebo uma msg e e-mail informando que preferiram cancelar a minha reserva "para não começar nada torto" e eu insatisfeita! Se eles não me queriam insatisfeita conseguiram proporcionar um sentimento pior do que isso, pois além das pessoas que me indicaram o hostel, as redes sociais saberão da falta de feeling e mau atendimento deste Hostel.
