The parish bailiff farm is an old farmhouse which we can at least dating back to the first flock Lauritz Madsen in 1713, and was owned by Knivholt Manor. The farm's last owner was Peter Munk, and the farm looks today as it did in the early 20th century, with the furniture belonging to the Munk family. Idyllic and typical old Danish museums farm, run exclusively by volunteers. There are activities for children, chickens and ducks walking around the courtyard, which is a small oasis in the middle of the city, where you can enjoy your brought food free of charge without having to go to the museum.

The burial site of Lindholm Hoje is one of the most beautiful ancient monuments in Denmark from late Iron Age and the Viking Age. Several hundred stone circles indicate the tombs. In the museum, you can see an exhibition on the lives of the Vikings on Lindholm Hoje as well as a new exhibition on the ancient time in the land of the Limfjorden.
If you are in Aalborg, don't miss to go here. The museum is very nice, as well as the outdoor area..

Havno Molle, built in 1842, is the oldest wind mill in Northern Jutland. It is beautifully located between the inlet of Mariager Fjord and the forests of Lounkaer. During opening hours, there are guided tours in the mill. The mill runs when the weather permits, and in summertime, on special days, flour is being ground. On the mill hill, you will find a picnic area with benches and tables, which you are welcome to use - also outside opening hours.

The museum is located at the harbour of Hobro town and is housed in one of the picturesque old grain warehouses. The specialisation of the museum is yachting in its widest sense. Take a walk through the exhibitions of the museum which show everything from old boats to more recent communication equipment. Come onboard on the yacht "Silvana", which has been owned by the Royal Danish customs authorities. Feel the scent of tar and wood. Enjoy the boats and the impressive wooden constructions of the buildings.

The Circus Museum in the village Rold is established in the old winter quarters of Cirkus Miehe by the inn "Rold Gl. Kro" and houses the only preserved wooden circus building in Denmark. The museum gives you an impression of circus as a working place through 200 years. At the Circus museum in Rold, we think that artistry should be for everyone.

Pretty cool place to go with kids. A lot of cool stuff to see especially the submarine, where you imagine how it was to serve there during cold war.

Aalborg Historiske Museum tells the history of the city and its surroundings through the latest 1000 years. A special attraction is Aalborgstuen from 1602, which is undoubtedly the most well-preserved civil Renaissance interior in the country. The comprehensive permanent exhibitions also include a large collection of locally produced silverware and glass. Throughout the year you will see different special exhibitions, primarily including items from our own storerooms.
