My tour of Bukhara was the highlight of my trip to Uzbekistan. My guide, Lola, was arguably the best tour guide I’ve had the pleasure to sightsee with. She had an exceptional knowledge of the history and landmarks and her enthusiasm of the subject matter was infectious. She tailored the tour to my interest and was extremely patient as I nerded out taking photographs. I so enjoyed my day with her and hope to get her as a guide again on my next trip to Uzbekistan. The tour was effortless with hotel pick up and drop off. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! Well worth it!!

Made a last minute booking (during low season) and was promptly set up with an itinerary, including transfer to/from my accommodations in Tashkent as well as train tickets to/from Samarkand. I was initially hesitant about doing a guided tour as opposed to exploring on my own but I'm glad I did! Muftana provided so much information about the history of Uzbekistan and the sights we were seeing. I wouldn't have been able to know any of that if I toured by myself. We also stopped for a delicious lunch of samsas!
