I had the most marvelous experience with Veronique Hery in Aveyron, France. First of all, she is a marvelous and accommodating hostess. She is also extremely knowledgeable about so many places, things, and people in her location. Her house is a newly remodeled home originally built in 1930 (recently by French standards). Veronique is totally bilingual. She is very caring to her house guest. Lots of FUN to be with, and gives space as needed. I wholeheartedly recommend her as your guide. The area of and near Aveyron is little known by outsiders, yet it is beautiful and historic. Rolling hills, 12th century hilltop villages, historic city of Albi, a great but undiscovered wine region called Marcillac, and Veronique as your guide. A great way to spend a week, or more. The only downside is it's a bit harder to get to the Rodez area than most other parts of France, but it's well worth the small extra hassle.

This is a perfect tour for the heritage and medival age lovers! Albi is a small and quiet town, and Cordes sur Ciel is a small village. Although the walk is easy in alby, it is steep in Cordes sur Ciel, but no worries, if there is some difficulties from a few travelers to walk, I drive up the hill.

Thank you Olivia for a fantastic day out. We enjoyed the lovely village of Lagrasse and the abbey. We were overwhelmed with the beauty of Fontfroide Abbey. It is the best preserved abbey I have ever visited. Tresor Languedoc tours makes everything enjoyable and easy. Air conditioned car and Olivia was excellent with history / answering my questions.

We went on a wine tour in Bordeaux organized by this company & the wineries & chateaux were incredible & the guides first class.We had Ellen for a day & a half on 2 private tours & Rudolph & Julie on regular tours. All the guides were compassionate & knowledgable individuals.I have a bad knee & they ensured I had a chair available to sit down & minimum walking.This company has passionate committed guides with knowledge who have a heart. we visited only one Rass winery, and in the review it was announced that we would visit 3 wineries. I do not like this. It made a bad impression on me that when we arrived at the Rass winery we were greeted with the finding that they had already closed for tourists today, but as a compromise they would take the trouble to open for us. The winery was not typical of Provence. There are also better wineries in the area, I expected more ...

This is a perfect tour for the heritage and medival age lovers! Albi is a small and quiet town, and Cordes sur Ciel is a small village. Although the walk is easy in alby, it is steep in Cordes sur Ciel, but no worries, if there is some difficulties from a few travelers to walk, I can drive them to the top of the hill, and it will be just a little bit to walk up to the center of the medieval town.
