Brimming with both history and natural wonder, Northern Portugal is home to Porto, the city that gave the country its name, as well as the important ancient town of Braga. Also here is Peneda-Gerês, Portugal’s only national park, a gorgeous wilderness area of mountains, gorges, water features and wildlife. Many picturesque villages and manor houses dot the countryside. Two areas are UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Alto Douro Wine Region, and the Paleolithic rock art in the Côa Valley.

Hello, My wife & I were a part of this small group tour with another Brazilian family. Our guide was Micael Neto.He was very friendly & very approachable from the start of the tour.He drives well & is able to communicate his point in English. We personally preferred the Aveiro part to Coimbra. The Costa Nova beach & the light house were fantastic. The Moliserro cruise is an experience one should have.We had lunch & Avos Moles at the Market Square at Cafe Pixinho. The Coimbra tour was mainly a university, cathedral & the market square. Speaking personally about Micael a few incidents which stood out for me, a)He found a restaurant in Aveiro which serves vegeterian food for us. b)In Coimbra when the others were busy in the university he took us to the Botanical Garden & Cathedral. c)He helped us plan the rest of our trip in Porto & Lisbon with his suggestions. d)He even recommended places to have vegeterian food near our hotel. e)He ensured that each members personal interests were taken care off during the tour.He made it a point to understand our likes & dislikes.Eg.He made it a point to show me the storks nests & the Dragao stadium. The tour was well organised as any other but Micael was very good & would highly reccomend travelling with Micael to anybody in the future. Cheers, Dr.Vidhi & Harshit

Seeing Porto on a private Tuk Tuk is a one of a kind experience. Due to their electric motor, the tuk-tuks are entirely silent, which will allow you to hear your guide on busy roads. Porto is an incredible city, but its hills are not for the faint of heart, instead of going up and down the hills by foot, why not grab a tuk-tuk and get an overview of this gorgeous city without breaking a sweat? Comfort, ease and information!

This is the only way to experience all the main sites, with interesting information, without exhausting yourself with all the steep hills Our guide was Dutch and his English was excellent, sorry I cannot remember his name We definitely got our money's worth, a generous 2 hours and we saw everything we wanted to see We felt safe and the pace was easy, helmets are provided There was a little practice session before we got going but we have done a few segway experiences before, so we were fine The meeting point was difficult to find because the signage is poor, apparently they've had a fire and are currently in the process of regrouping Lots of stops for photo opportunities We wore our own face masks We would never have covered the ground and my husband's poor hips would never have coped with the steep hills without the segway, perfect for us

We had an excellent tour with Tiago, who was a wonderful guide. The tour was informative regarding the history of Portugal and was well paced, whilst taking in some great sites. Bom Jesus was a spectacular start of the tour, followed by Braga cathedral (and the mummified archbishop!), Lunch was surprisingly good with a good choice of options. The stop in Guimaraes included access to the castle and the Palace of the Dukes which has a beautiful chapel with stained glass windows. We also had some time to explore the centre of Guimaraes. We did the tour during the Covid crisis and probably got to see the sites much quieter than normal, which was nice. We felt very safe travelling with them, with the guide and all guests (just two couples) wearing masks when in the vehicle which was reassuring. We would recommend this tour. We never felt rushed, and had enough time at each of the sites to enjoy them.
