I was amazed by how beautiful this walk was. At the top of the wharf, there is a short walk to the lighthouse where you can backtrack to continue along the path toward the rest of the track. great views and the opportunity to stop at the Mosman rowers club or to have a picnic overlooking the harbour at the end of the walk

The National Pass

We walked as a family of 2 adults and our kids age 16 and 14, setting off from the Wentworth Falls picnic area and completing the circular trail in a clockwise direction. The walk is challenging in places, so there is a level of fitness required in order to enjoy. 'Slack Stairs' wasn't as bad as it was made out to be I felt. The infrastructure was secure, though some of the paths along the bottom were a bit rough. We walked at a steady pace and thoroughly enjoyed the walk which took us 3 hours.

Great interpretation of what occurred in Jerilderie when the Kelly gang came to town. Walk is relatively short. Provides a nice stop on a trip up the Newell or if visiting the area

Dee Why Headland walk

Reviewed By JElliot32 - New South Wales, Australia

Recently took on the coastal walk from Collaroy to Manly and while the whole trek was a pleasure, to me the clear highlight was the section around Dee Why headland. This section is bookended by two truly beautiful rock pools - Dee Why and North Curl Curl. In between the pools you will experience some stunning views of the Northern Beaches coastline and the wide blue ocean. The narrow path takes you through dense thickets of coastal heath- and bushland (in which gnarled old banksia trees abound). We walked midweek and while we did not have the path to ourselves, other walkers were relatively scarce. And you quickly forget you are just a few kilometres from downtown Sydney.

Broken Hill Cemetery Walk

Reviewed By SMOAI76 - New South Wales, Australia

The Broken Hill cemetery is sensational, it's unexpectedly massive for a regional town, even allowing for its great history and heritage. There is plenty of parking on the main road in front of the cemetery and near the entry at the main gate a useful information hut (un manned) where I would highly recommend picking up a copy of the hardcopy guide leaflet. This guide lists graves of social, political, historical and artistic importance including those of artist Pro Hart and opera singer June Bronhill. The graves are numbered in the guide with a matching number adjacent to the actual grave site plus there are signs in the cemetery helping you find your way around. The cemetery provides a great oversight of the history of the city there's a Jewish and Muslim burial area it's not all about the Catholics and the Anglicans. Some of the headstones are magnificent and huge, there are mini family mausoleums and Pro Harts is stunning and different...as you'd expect. The cemetery also features a lovely rose garden at the rear of the site in an area that I believe commemorates war dead. Please note unlike some old towns there's not a pioneer cemetery and a current use cemetery, this is THE Broken Hill cemetery and it's very impressive but do remember to be respectful just in case your visit is on a day when a local residents burial may be taking place. Sensational...would highly recommend, make sure you have your walking shoes on !
