Really worth a visit, this Seljuck architecture is very different from regular Ottoman structures of Istanbul. The differences are stark and its fascinating that the same people under different empires built such distinct buildings.

incredible stonework, great motifs and a masterpiece if you want to see a great work of art. Yakutiye Madrasa was built in the 14th century by Emir Cemaleddin Yakut during the reign of Ilhanli ruler Olcayto. There were examples of the type of madrasah with closed courtyard, iwan and portico, which continued to exist in Anatolia The madrasa is in front of the medieval Turkish art with its symmetrical structure, various figures carved in stone reliefs and tile arrangements.
